Beware: These crooks turned my $ 6 Footlong sandwich into $ 8 final cost by adding only a minimal amount of guacamole sauce onto the bread, that they don’t tell you costs $ 2 extra, and then can barely taste in the sandwich. Get better Value & Service in many other places in Hoboken

I have never had such horrible customer service from Subway as i have had at this one. I go to order my sandwich and let the guy know that I want to get a sandwich using my rewards card and he says which do i want, so i go and order my sandwich and at no point am I told that there are limited items on the menu that i can use the rewards with nor are there any signs that alert customers to which sandwiches are for the rewards program either. So I have the sandwich made and go to pay for it with the rewards card and only then am i told that i can not use my rewards to pay for the sandwich. I ask the reasons why that i can not he says that it is policy and that the sandwiches i could order from are clearly marked to which they are not. I let the guy know that i don’t want to have the sandwich then and that ill have one made that is on the Menu that is available for use with the rewards card. He tells me that i have to buy the sandwich 1st then he will make me one from the menu. I told him that i don’t want the sandwich and that ill have one from said menu. He still insist that i have to pay for the 1st one. I then proceed to ask to see the manager and am informed that that manager is not there nor is there a shift lead and that is only him. i insist on talking to a manager to which the guy gets insolent rolling his eyes and eventually gets his boss on the phone and then hands the phone to me, i talk to the boss and the boss is just as insolent as he is and still denies the use of my rewards card and offers to lower the price to the same as the sandwiches that it can be used on to which but still can not use my card and that i can again pay for my sandwich that i now do not want and i could order another from proper menu. by this time i am frustrated enough and hungry enough that i agree to the lowered price but not to be sold with tax to which the Boss agrees to and i hand the phone back to the guy and he talks to his boss and even after it all i still end up paying the tax. After the purchase is made the guy tells me never to come back. i have never been so insulted or had this kind of experience from any other Subway. This is the only location that i have been to that i can not use my card on the sandwich that i routinely consume. I wont be eating here ever again and id advise anyone that thinks about eating here not to do it either. This place needs to be shut down and/or new management needs to be brought in, that would actually grant the wishes of customers.

If you care for having coffee with your breakfast sandwich, watch out. Because unless you come later in the morning, there may not be any coffee for you. This happened to me twice in 2 weeks, and both times, the lady didn’t bother mentioning it until I was already paying. Gee, that makes sense when I ordered the bfast sandwich + COFFEE combo. Guess what – I don’t care about your excuse that«most of my customers come after 8am», since I’m standing there at 7:50am, almost an hour after you opened, and I just ordered a meal that your company has been heavily advertising on TV. Add the fact that the people behind the counter OFTEN give you an attitude, this place is a pass. There are much better sandwich places in Hoboken – check out Fran’s just 1 block away, or the deli across the street from Starbucks. I’ll be giving them my business for breakfast since this Subway doesn’t care for it.

It’s okay. Little slow, sometimes gets crowded. But there’s so much competition around that this Subway really does need to step up its game in order to stand out in one way or another. Every time I leave from here on the way to my garage, I find myself thinking, «God damn it! Not again!». Staff could be a little friendlier too. It’s the middle of the day, not the time to be zombie mode. Very average. But being an average Subway in Hoboken does not do you well.

An average Subway. They give me what I want, but when I ask for extra tomatoes, sometimes they get kinda cheap with it and just put 1 – 2 extra when really, I want 3 or 4 more haha! They are Indian though, so I guess I could see some miscommunications happening.

I like subway — I think it’s a decent priced lunch that’s quick and easy and good. But this is the worst subway I’ve ever been to. They are always out of something — and can’t make some of the subs or the ice machine is not working for the drinks. English isn’t the employees first language so they can’t really understand what you’re requesting. When they do have the items you request they try to short change you by giving you a little less. But the biggest problem I’ve noticed is that they will advertise one thing and then when you request it refuse to give you that deal. Seems like very shady business is afoot at this subway, I can’t imagine corporate would be impressed with them giving the subway chain a bad name.

Its cheap and easy, just like I like my lunch. No its definitely not the best sandwich place in town but it is consistent. If you do desire to ever deviate from the familiar, stick with Subway. If you’re willing to spend a buck more, try any other local shop in Hoboken. Pro tip: for more value out of Subway load up on the pepper, onions, and other sandwich toppings.

Beware of owner short changing you. It’s been at least 3 out of 4 times now. It’s not the few pennies less, it’s just extremely annoying.

Hey subway wake up and smell the coffee. In NJ there are tons of great local sandwhich shops you are competing with. I am one of the few NJ people that actually appreciate Subway. I know how to order what I want and make it good. However, this shortsighted owner has no clue how to treat a customer. He thinks he is living in his country where you can negociate anything. Im ordering a Sub with a coupon don’t you dare and try to negociate price with me. First off if I am selecting your place to eat over Lou’s down the street I better not get a hard time from you I will walk out and almost did this time. I order my sub and opt for double meat. So right now I’m already at $ 8 for a low grade sub. It is literally fight with their«Sandwich Artist» to get a proper amount of toppings on my sub. They tried to get away with only putting 4 pickles and 4 hot peppers on. Then I asked for extra and the put 1 extra pickle on and 1 extra hot pepper. I then at that point simply stated MORE! and they tossed a few more on. Then I go to check out and they wont take my coupon. The owner said it was not worth his while to take the coupon. This was a coupon from Corporate you better take it. He kept saying how he was going to lose money. I don’t think he realized how much money he was going to lose till I started to walk out. Then all the sudden he took the coupon. Don’t play you B.S. games with me Mr. Subway owner learn how to treat a customer. Thanx to his shenanigans he has now lost a Subway eater to the much better Italian Delis in Hoboken. I might ever just go ahead and cut up my Subway eat fresh card thanx to him.

While this hasn’t been the fastest nor the friendliest Subway restaurant I’ve visited, it is decently maintained, cobblestone-like floor and decently fresh toppings. They balk at putting on extra tomatoes sometimes, but overall, the service is decent and there’s space to sit for those who need to kick their feet up. An average Subway, I’d say.
