Fantastic experience!
I wanted something fun and exciting done to my hair but wasn’t completely sure what. I called, easily made an appointment for the next evening, and absolutely love my hair! From blonde to brunette to having vibrant streaks of color through my layers. It looks incredible!
They stayed open 2hrs late to finish me up. They play great music and provide great conversation. Snacks, water, wine… You name it!
Definitely my permanent hair salon. Book an appointment, you won’t regret it!

If you are looking for a reliable color — one that is natural and wholly you, then check out Prismz! As a skeptic (who had her share of bad experiences), when a friend insisted I go there, I obliged. Glad I did, because I have been going back for over three years now. As a brunette with red undertones, the color that Jackie chose is the best for my skin tone and eye color. My hair color is radiant and glowing, this is truly a dependable place!
The price is also worthwhile, certainly affordable.

I have very blonde hair (highlights) and have been wanting to go darker for winter. I wanted to do an auburn color and was worried because in the past going from very light to dark has always come out horrible. I heard that Prismz does amazing with color. I called and Amy was able to squeeze me in the same day! I was impressed because I know how busy they are with the holidays right around the corner. Amy was very knowledgeable and let me know right away that I would need a double process. To make the auburn/​red pop out, she also put a red glaze on it. The color is so pretty and I’ve been getting so many compliments. Both Amy and the owner James were very kind and I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends! Amy did an amazing job with the color coming out exactly how I wanted!

I got a haircut from Amy at Prismz and it was by far the best style haircut I have ever received. As someone who has a family member as a hairdresser I have always been skeptical that I would get a good haircut but Amy exceeded my expectations. I described what I wanted and she absolutely gave that to me!!! I would absolutely recommend Amy!

Amy gave my hair the GK Resistant Keratin treatment at Prismz two weeks ago and I’m so pleased with the result!
I have wavy, thick, and frizzy hair. I’ve previously had the Brazillian Blow-​out which took out the frizz but left my hair straight and without body. I’ve also had the GH curly treatment which was okay but not strong enough for my hair.
Amy suggested I get the GK resistant treatment which was just right. Not sure to what extent it was the treatment or Amy’s application, but this treatment was perfect because it made my hair extremely soft and completely frizz-​free while leaving my hair with waves and body. In fact, I can very easily blow dry my hair to curl under at the ends.
I also recommend Amy for a cut and color. I found Amy in the fall when I was looking for an immediate fix to a botched hair cut. I was lucky she had a chair available that afternoon. The cut was perfect, as were the highlights she gave me in December.

I went last week for partial highlights with Jackie. In the salon they looked okay, but now that I am home, my hair looks orange. I am going to be calling the salon owner to see what they can do about fixing them, but until then am going to have to give this salon a low rating.

I had to add a review for Prismz because I recommend them to all of my friends. The prices are great and they seriously transform your hair. I’ve gone to every type of salon with prices that ranged from $ 80 to $ 200 for highlights and they are the BEST!
I know… «$ 200 for highlights? You must be crazy Allison!» I’m pretty serious when it comes to my hair.
When I first started going to Prismz my hair was dyed almost black and now I’m back to being blonde and my hair is as healthy as ever. Jackie always cuts and colors my hair exactly the way that I like, and if something I ask for doesn’t work, she will let me know (like when I almost got bangs — thank you for not letting me Jackie!!!). They are always friendly and will go the extra mile to make you happy (whether it’s staying late to perfect your color or offering you a cup of coffee). All of my friends that have gone here are extremely happy too. I’m moving to NYC in the fall but I will make the «long» commute back to Prismz every 6 to 8 weeks! :)
