I’ve been to this location plenty of times over the last few years and I wouldn’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience necessarily. The food has always been fairly good, I believe only once was it not quite to my liking in the years I’ve come here. Their steaks are good for not being a steakhouse and I really enjoy most of their chicken plates. My only real complaint would be with the wait staff. It seems to be very hit or miss here and on my last visit was probably the worst I’ve had thus far. All in all the food is definitely good but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Most of the time my husband and I come here we have a good experience. The steak he orders is always juicy and tasty. I usually order salad or soup and which is always fresh. The specialty drinks and beer on tap are refreshing. The only thing that may lack from time to time is the service. But, overall truly no bad experiences.

Ok, let me start by saying the only reason I gave this place two stars is because our server was nice. My wife and I went in sat down and both ordered the ½ sandwich lunch special. The place was not busy and certainly not crowded. There was no reason we sat there for 49 minutes to get food that didn’t even need to be cooked. I mean they were half sandwiches. I put down five dollars and paid for the soda my wife order and I’m pretty sure my water was free and we both left. I’ve been to this chain before but always in Kennesaw. This was my first and last experience at the Hiram location.

Worst service. SLOW. Waitress was nice enough, but restaurant wasn’t busy. Plenty of staff. Still sucked. Hostess doesn’t know how to seat people. Waitress was berating the hostess in the middle of the restaurant. Couple with two young kids have been waiting 20 minutes for their check while the kids get rowdier. Manager was called over 10 more minutes-no check because they are bagging up complimentary pie? What? Stupid!

Been here twice and both were bad. Ordered broccoli casserole that was still frozen in the middle. The other time the service was terrible and they weren’t even crowded. The food was sub-par that time too. I’ve ate at several OCharleys and this one is the worst.

Lackluster greeting from the hostess. Dirty surroundings, less than enthusiastic server, mediocre food, Tom the manager barely made eye contact, and needs to work on his customer service skills quickly! I’m not planning to return after innumerable visits. It’s time for a new family haunt.

If you like horrible service, waiting forever for your food and then it comes out wrong this is the place for you… then the management looks at you like you’re stupid because you want your food fixed to what you actually ordered

I had the best experience ever I ordered the Nachos and the food came out better than expected. It was super quick and my cup was never empty thanks to this beautiful young lady named Jessica!!!

Recently went here to dine with family one Saturday afternoon. Service was AWFUL from beginning to end! The lack of customer service threw me off! I felt that as a customer I should not have to ask many times to refill drinks and then don’t even get the refill until my 2nd request(took total 30mins). No refills on rolls after I had asked. My sons order came 15 minutes AFTER we had already ate our food! After this BAD experience I spoke with the manager and informed her of the service I received from my «wonderful» waitress Jessica. The manager listened to my complaint and apologized. I explained to her I’ve been here many times before and had always had good service. This time was the WORST ever! Even with bad service in my past, I still tip but this experience had me so upset and I left NOTIP! After speaking with the manager, I was given a $ 20 voucher to return. I did informed the manager that I will be returning but I will make sure I won’t get the same waitress as I did that day!

Went with the family for Mother’s Day to have brunch and it was not a pleasant experience. We waited nearly 30 mins for a table of 9, got there right when they opened and the hostess forgot about us. Sat another big party that arrived after Us. Half the restaurant had empty tables, sigh. The coffee was lukewarm at best. Our food was lukewarm and some dishes were cold, bacon was severely undercooked and eggs were burnt and dried out. One family member didn’t receive their meal until everyone was almost finished eating. My mother complained to mgmt and they comped one ticket. When we were leaving there were many p waiting for tables but for some reason there were also many tables open in the restaurant. Not sure what the breakdown was in this location. It was unfortunate bc it was Mother’s Day and we wanted brunch to be special. Needless to say we will not be returning to this location due to this experience.

What to say… each time we visit this location we always end up with great service, hot food, and a friendly atmosphere. Jorge was excellent. We will continue to visit often.

Recently just fell back in love with O’Charley’s! I used to eat here all the time, but I got pretty burnt out on it. Took a break and when I came back… WOW! They completely changed their menu! I was dining this past Sunday around 2:30pm… and I had no idea they had Sunday brunch… and with SUCH yummy choices! I got the Cedar Planked Salmon… oh my lord delicious! Normally I’m not the biggest fan of salmon, but I’m trying to be healthy(about to go on vaca). It was so flavorful, a huge portion, and seriously delightful! The waiter was very attentive, had great recommendations, and was very enthusiastic and polite. He beamed happiness, you can truly tell he enjoys his job and wants to inflict his good mood on his guests. WOW. Great customer service and super yummy salmon… yay!

Worst place ever. Ordered curb side service. Said be there in 10 minutes. Was there in 15. Got there and food was not ready waited almost 45 minutes then the food came out and they forgot to make one of the entrees we ordered, however they gave us a Queso dip instead and said keep it. Didn’t offer to «fix» the problem. Sorry, Queso dip is not the steak that was order and certainly not a meal. Server was rude. Waited FOREVER for the manager, almost an hour later of showing up, finally the manager and he was ever worse, only offered to give back the money for only that one meal. Won’t be back.

The worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Plenty of staff and open tables but we were completely ignored when drinks were empty and it took asking for our check twice to actually get it. Food was ok but cold. Assuming our server ignored that as well.

Typical chain restaurant, service was okay, food was average. You don’t come here for a great meal, you come here for a consistent meal. Menu is different than some other locations I’ve visited. I had the ribs this visit and they were just average. Our waitress had mentioned we try the red lobster, I thought that was weird, maybe it’s just me.

Menu changing … no more Pot Roast & they are replacing their delicious Broccoli Cheese Casserole with boring green beans. On top of this they still serve Pepsi products and we are in GA, Coca-Cola country for God’s sake Used to be one of my favorite weekly go to spots… even had them in my address book just to call ahead to pick up Broccoli Cheese Casserole. Too bad tonight will be my last visit here… due to the menu change I will not be back. And to top it all off… the only thing I ordered tonight, the Spicy Twisted Chips were served without the spicy season salt! Just a bad night. Good-bye O’Charley’s! :-( P. S. Ashlee is a great waitress & the manager was great… apparently they have had a lot of complaints about losing the Broccoli Rice Casserole.

I am saddened by the last two times that I have eaten at O’Charley’s in Hiram. I have always enjoyed this restaraunt but the standards are falling, this time around my salad was limp, in a warm bowl with soggy croutons. Both this time and last time we had to send food back for being under cooked. I really hope that corporate comes in and brings the standards back up.

I used to eat at the original O’Charley’s in Nashville as a kid. That place had some good food. Now it’s just an average chain(like Appleby’s). It’s not my favorite place, but food is good. The food gets 4-stars from me. It’s good and seems to be consistent. I’ve never had a problem where I had to send it back and every plate has enough food for at least two people. But they lose a star because their service is either hit or miss. I’ve had some really great service there, but also some really bad service. The last time I went was for lunch and we were just about the only one’s there, so there should no excuse for poor service. We ordered a kid’s meal for my son and my wife and I split a meal, not because we are cheap, but because there is so much food. So when I tip, I always mentally add on the price of a 2nd meal before calculating the tip because I realize that it’s the same amount of work for the server. Plus, splitting a meal leaves room for dessert. The waitress brought out our drinks and a basket of bread which had three rolls. Usually there is twice as much and we began to wonder if the waitress was«punishing» us for splitting a meal. I will say that the O’Charley’s bread is outstanding and one of the reasons we go to O’Charley’s. Our son quickly wolfed down all 3 rolls. He’s very skinny so anytime he starts to eat like this we try to keep him eating. We flagged down the waitress and asked for more rolls and the waitress said she would bring them right out. They never came. The food was brought out by someone else and we asked for our waitress because we wanted more bread. I still hadn’t had any bread at this point and my ice tea glass had been empty for some time. Plus we wanted the empty plate we had asked for. Out waitress never came back until she brought us the check. This meant that I had to eat my entire meal WITHOUT anything to drink. I was dying of thirst and just wanted to get out of there so I could go to McDonalds and get something to drink. Nothing spoils a meal more than having to eat it while thirsty. I still left the waitress a 15% tip, but only on the actual amount. And we did not order dessert because we just wanted to get out of there so she lost the tip on that. Sad thing is… I will still go back. There are so few restaurants near us and there food is good; their service is just sometimes not that great. NOTETOSERVERS: When people like me split meals we notice when you go the extra mile to accommodate us and will gladly pay extra for good service. I will tend to add several extra dollars onto a tip when a server brings us an extra plate that we didn’t ask for. It’s actually embarrassing to split a meal. It’s not a money thing; I just don’t need the extra calories. Therefore, I will actually greatly over-tip to show that I’m not being cheap by splitting a meal.
