Not gonna lie, this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had. Definitely in the top 5. The crust is a work of art, it is so thin yet holds up the toppings so well. Speaking of toppings, these guys have very creative combinations. The sauce has perfect balance between tart and sweet. There’s not much else I can say, I don’t know if I can eat pizza again once I leave New England.

Peel is my favorite pizza. I do a pretty good job of eating here or the Cohasset location once a week. Recently I went to a new restaurant in Hingham which I won’t name, I went for lunch and left very hungry/unsatisfied. I shamelessly went to fulfill my craving at peel where i was greeted with a delicious hot slice of pizza. They do a good job rotating the«special» slice of the day but their cheese and pepperoni take care of business even when I’m not feeling the special. My favorite pizza here is the PB&J(pineapple, bacon, jalapeño) I will always love this pizza. Also service is very friendly and great at both Hingham and Cohasset, I frequent both lol #blessed

Really fabulous, albeit overpriced, pizza(par for the course when visiting a gourmet pizza joint). Super thin, outer crust crisps up nice, delicious tomato sauce. The single slices are massive(just not a lot of options, topping wise — cheese, pepperoni and essentially a margarita when I went). Their menu is massive and full of interesting/tasty sounding combos. I had the peel pb & j; awesome combo of spicy(really spicy!) jalapeños, sweet pineapple and salty(and crispy!) bacon bits. My husband got the buffalo blue(white pizza) and was pleased, but was surprised at the amount of spice. Would happily return to try out something different.

Delicious pizza and a friendly staff! Went with a group of 8 people and two large pizzas were more than enough. Big slices and big flavor. Easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever tried!

Gotta give this little place 5 stars due to good 80s music to go with big, tasty slices. Perhaps a little pricey, but worth it. Limited slices menu, but the pepperoni is great. Real thin crust, but excellent sauce. All tastes fresh. Even have some brews. Lasagna can be made in about 15 minutes — I’ll have to try that next time. Friendly service. If you’re in or near Hingham, this is a solid choice.

This pizza parlor, which looks small and unassuming from the outside, has outstanding New York-style thin crust pizza. It really is the best pizza on the South Shore, and I like Peel’s pizza better than Regina Pizzeria’s. The simple, pleasant, modern interior offers several tables, bar stools along counters that overlook South St. and a couple of nice flat screen TV’s for watching sports. Peel does a huge carry out business and also delivers. The crust is made in– house every day and is outstanding. The toasty brown edge of the crust is crisp and a little crunchy, and the part under the sauce is chewy, just like it should be. It also has good flavor, which is often a problem at lesser pizza joints. The tomato sauce has a nice balanced flavor, visible dried herbs, the right amount of seasoning and chunks of tomato. Peel uses just the right amount of cheese. It’s hard to screw up the cheese on a pizza, but I honestly find most pizza places either don’t have good sauce or don’t have good crust. It was a thrill to find a pizza place where every component is top notch. They also have wine and beer selections, and a good selection of soft drinks. There is a huge selection of toppings, including many creative combinations they have come up with and named. I didn’t personally like the white pizza with truffle oil nearly as much as the plain cheese with tomato sauce, but that is just a personal preference, so if it sounds like it’s right up your alley, give it a try. My ONLY strong suggestion for changes at Peel is that they add cheese choices that reflect special diets: rennet-free cheese(rennet is not vegetarian and I make a huge compromise every time I eat there), cow’s milk free cheese(either goat cheese or sheep’s milk feta) and vegan«cheese» such as Daiya. Even though I am a vegetarian, I can’t seem to resist the bubbly, chewy goodness of an occasional slice of pizza at Peel, but I would be there quite often if they offered some or all of these alternate cheese selections. A final heads up– the crushed red pepper is flavorful and REALLY spicy! So don’t sprinkle it on your slices unless you love spicy food.

Dope Pizza and Wings guy! Slices are big ans the crust is thin. Pizza creations are creative and delicious. The skillet wings are excellent. Larger than your typical wing and very tasty. Friendly service and delivery is also available.

Amazing pizza place. The pizza is delicious, and the chefs are super nice and great. I love the pizza, and even though some people are sad that the old upper crust is gone, but seriously this place is better and amazing. Me and my friends hang out there all the time. It is become a very memorable place for me. Keep up the good work! However they charged me $ 12! For a Caesar and Pizza. Unreal.

Possibly the most delicious red pizza sauce ever. Tangy, spicy, and lots of tomato chunks. Crust is on the very thin side, so it’s not the most filling pizza you’ll ever try, but so tasty. They make a decent Greek salad, as well. Not a lot of in house seating, but they will deliver in Hingham, which is brilliant. Great spot.

Stopped in here to grab a few slices and left impressed. The slices are huge, with a delicious, fresh tasting sauce and tomato chunks, a thin crispy crust, and great toppings! Will definitely return.

Finally, a respectable pizza on the South Shore made with real ingredients. If you’re reading this then you too are exhausted with the really bad option around you — Cohasset, one of the smallest towns on the SS, has three pizza shops and their all consistently miserable options. Enough. Not only is the food top shelf but the owner is a hell-of-a-nice guy. Try it today; the suffering is over.

My husband and I tried this pizza at the taste of Hingham and liked it. We ordered it tonight for supper and it was fantastic the pizza and Greek salads were fresh and extremely flavorful. The only downfall was there wasn’t any dressing or pita bread. We can overlook that for how good the food was. Definitely are fans…

My husband and I moved to the beautiful town of Hull which we absolutely love. We have been having a tough time finding a good pizza place. We’ve had mediocre at best. Then we found Peel!!! Mother load!!! Fresh toppings, perfect crust, not even remotely greasy, superb. Truly. Added bonus, they deliver!!!

The specialty pizzas are really tasty — thin crust, fresh, and healthy. This pizza doesn’t taste«greasy» at all — it’s very light!

I have had nothing but great experiences during my numerous trips to Peel. The location is great, the décor is fresh and the staff has been very helpful. The pizza is fantastic and for dads, it is nice to be able to have a beer while eating and/or waiting for takeout. The lasagna was a nice surprise too. Keep up the good work Brendan and the gang.

Where’s the cheese? Or better — where’s the cheese flavor? Granted the large pizza is larger than a normal large(18″) and the cheese pizza looked like it had cheese, but eating it, all we could taste was the sauce and none of the cheese. Don’t know if it’s a blessing or a curse that our family works in the food business and know what brands of cheese good pizza shops use(cough, cough — Grande or Saputo) which makes us wonder what they’re using here — ’cause we couldn’t taste it at all. The crust is so thin — the thinnest crust we’ve ever had, that it almost doesn’t really feel like eating pizza. $ 15 for a large cheese, and up to 22 for a specialty pizza, unfortunately we’ll drive in the other direction to Bertucci’s and get a more filling pizza.
