While the doctors were very professional and the exam and equipment was top notch I feel that I was mislead on the overpriced routine eye exam. 255 for a routine 15 minute exam is in no way competitive with any other store In the area. Frames and lenses are also 50% more expensive than any other store in the are.
Unless you are a Hingham housewife who is in a competition to spend more money than your fellow housewives, don’t waste your time here. Spend 20 minutes on the highway and go to ‘See’ or ‘Four Eyes’ in Cambridge.

I recently shopped for the first time at Lunette and I’m so glad I did. Staff members gave me undivided attention and honest feedback. I purchased a pair of Oliver People’s frames and couldn’t be happier with my new glasses. They fit perfectly and are the first pair of progressives that I can comfortably read with. Thank you Lunette! Worth every penny!

I order my glasses $ 757. I go pick them up, and they didn’t read the prescription correctly, and ONLY did the lenses for the distance, NOT the reading. Ok. Mistakes happen. They re-​did, I picked up yesterday, and the only did the lenses for READING this time — no distance? WTF? They had the prescription. Now, I will need to come up with the difference of $ 200, and drive from the Cape to their shop for the 3rd time, plus another once they correct. Think I will go to Providence — maybe they can read a Dr. prescription.

The best eye doctor I have ever been to and I’ve worn glasses since I was 12. Dr. Dunker did the most thorough eye exam I have ever had and found a growth that other optometrists have missed.
Beyond the eye exam, the staff was incredibly helpful. Instead of just pointing me to the frames and telling me to let them know which ones I like, they walked me around the store and gave me real opinions as to what they thought looked good with my face shape.
This is the only place I will ever go for routine eye exams and glasses ever again.

Seriously the best experience I have ever had buying glasses. I always struggle picking out new frames. Obviously I want them to be stylish since I wear them everyday but I also want them to be practical. I ended up with a pair of Paul Smith spectacles that I am very happy with. When I can afford it I will be returning to buy a pair of prescription sunglasses. Highly recommended!

Possibly the best place in the South Shore/​Boston area to get an eye exam and buy glasses.
Lets start with the exam — They have the most current technology, so forget about that is better or worse, 1 or 2, 2 or 1, is 2 better or worse than 1. A machine is able to figure out your prescription and you give it a try. You don’t have to second guess your self any more. Also, no eye drops for the glaucoma test. They take a picture of your eye and do all the measurements that way.
