Great drinks and incredible food! Hard to find a place like this in the east. Awesome delicious charcuterie plates, the dates make my mouth water, the bacon cheesecake I ate the whole thing and I usually don’t have a sweet tooth but I couldn’t help myself! Sandwiches are also great. Can’t go wrong with the food here. Awesome small family owned business where the owners are working and making sure they’re guests enjoy themselves. If you get a chance definitely stop in here for some food and a drink!

Discovered this place while shopping in Wexford; we love small plates and they had a nice selection of wine. We went during happy hour and tried the chorizo stuffed dates– so good we had to have a second order! Lovely small bites and friendly staff. We will be back for sure!

Enjoyed a Friday afternoon visit. Was kind of quiet. But, an extensive selection if beers, very good food and attentive service make this a place to which I’d return.

Great ‘new’ place-​enjoyed! I wanted to try some new places instead of our old favorites and this didn’t disappoint. We started with a flight of tap beers-​all good! I personally then had the Jalepeno Margarita-​amazing! We had the bacon wrapped, chorizo filled dates and the Asian meatballs-​amazing! Then the Cuban press sandwich and the SOJA salad-​amazing! We finished the meal with Tuesday night team trivia-​not something we usually do-​it was a good time. To top it all off we won trivia! Lol!

Had the best time at Porter & Pig. Welcoming staff, cozy place. The chef’s choice charcuterie was fantastic. All we left were the grape stems. Innovative menu pleased everyone from Grampa to the grandkids. BLT was special. Looking forward to going back

Fun local bar & grill with fabulous musicians. I tried the regionally brewed craft beer and liked the food selection but didn’t eat.

What a find! My girlfriend and I tried Porter & Pig on our last visit to Hilton Head a couple weeks ago and it was the best meal we had on our whole trip! They define brilliance in simplicity.
We came in around 9 after getting in late and just wanted a simple bite. Of course, many places close at 9 so our options were limited. Upon entry, Porter & Pig is a dimly lit bar with unusual seating. The bar occupies the center of the room and has seating around its 4 sides. The outer edge of the room has several different seating arrangements — some low couches around a coffee table, some high tops, a banquette, and some regular tables. There are several TV’s too and the environment is quite inviting; there’s almost a feel of a medieval tavern.
We ordered our drinks. I had a Thai white wheat beer. It was great. My girlfriend had a Negroni — a notoriously difficult cocktail to make — and it was fantastic.
We ordered the pulled pork nachos and a small plate of charcuterie that had 2 meats and 2 cheese as well as pickled okra, sweet and spicy pecans, and thin croustinis. But there were also 2 sauces that were out of this world! The first was a blackberry balsamic jam and second was a house made honey mustard. I would have bought jars of them to take with me if that was an option.
But nothing lacked in general. We had wild boar and a special salami, both sliced thin. We also had a hard Italian cheese and a creamy cheddar. The pulled pork nachos were a contrast to the delicate charcuterie plate, but they had a heft to them that made them stick to your ribs — real comfort food, creamy and salty.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Our waitress recommended several items for the charcuterie plate and steered us in a great direction. Even the patrons were friendly.
We wanted to stay for the live band that was setting up, but we didn’t have the energy. I know we’ll be back though — most likely on our next visit to the island because this little charcuterie bar is too good to pass up.

Been here once before and it was outstanding, only average tonight. The crowd seemed to overwhelm the kitchen. The food was OK, servers busy and friendly. Great idea and just nor executed as well as expected.

I was impressed with the bacon cheesecake. The owner is super friendly. Had a really great experience! Looking forward to visiting again to try the elegant charcuterie.

Delicious cocktails, great beer selection, and upscale «bar food».had the margarita and the mermaid– both delicious! Also had the pulled pork nachos and my bf had the cuban sandwich. Yummmm. Be sure to ask for the specials. Also, finish with the bacon cheesecake :)

Omg! The bacon cheesecake. Everything was outstanding. Atmosphere, service, and food. So far, our favorite spot in Hilton head.

Great little spot! Good service! Best Lime Fizz Gin Cocktail! Food is delicious and fun! Casual attire. nice bar… TV’ s for football watching!

Do yourself a favor and go to this place. Whether you are a local or a tourist go. Awesome beer menu. Small, delicious menu. Super friendly staff and owners are very welcoming. And when you’re done eating dinner, indulge in the bacon cheesecake. Delicious.

I found this little spot accidentally, but I was glad I did. I had the best experience ever. The bartender, owner were very welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere and servive too. Great selection of beers and food, and if you not sure what to get they will go out of their way (so to speak) and offer you free samples.
Best place ever. Do not miss the opportunity to experience it for yourself.

A hidden gem in Hilton Head. Stopped in for a beer and we were given free pork sliders during happy hour. These sliders were better than the «award winning pork sliders» another restaurant boosted about that I dined at a few nights prior. We inhaled the sliders and ordered the chefs sampler charcuterie platter. It was absolutely amazing!!! Loved this place, just wished I had more time during vacation to go back and try more.

Everything about this restaurant/​bar is amazing! The bartender was very friendly, and the food was outstanding. We ordered the charcuterie board, chorizo stuffed dates, and pork nachos. I have never had a better plate of meats and cheeses before, and the stuffed dates were delicious. They also has a great selection of craft beers to choose from. If I lived in Hilton Head, this would be my go to spot. I definitely recommend it!

Very tiny place in a corner of one of Hilton head’s many hidden shopping plazas. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I only had the opportunity to experience it once. If I’d had another opportunity, and had as good of an experience as I had the first time it would be a 5 star rating.
Our group went on a Tuesday night when there were special prices on sliders and some beverages.
I selected a pulled pork slider, a bacon pimento slider, & the stuffed dates. All were great. Others in our group chose various other menu items and everyone was very happy with their selections.
Delicious and reasonable, and presented in a very attractive manner. High quality food and good service. Can’t ask for more!
I’d go back without hesitation and I recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere new and different from the same old tried & true (& ok at best) restaurants in Hilton Head.
I would recommend calling ahead to see if you can get reservations because it is a small place.

Great vibe. Laid back good service. Excellent menu of quality crafted well chosen items. Coast Boy King Double IPA paired nicely with the assorted charcuterie, cheeses, and such on our share plate. Probably not for squares or tight asses, but what do I know?

Came in for cocktails, stayed all night for music, food and the fun atmosphere. Weather was nice out, so the outside seating was enjoyable with our group. Stays open late.

Found this little gem today while in Hilton Head, SC. We started out with a few nice craft brews and also had dinner. We ordered the charcuterie board and the Cuban sandwich. Both were awesome! We loved the atmosphere and the service was great. Highly recommend!
