Awesome little place I go to grab breakfast every other week or so before work. The woman who owns the place is as sweet as can be. Their menu is diverse, and they sell next day bagels for 50 cents a pop! I usually buy a whole weeks supply of bagels for under 4 bucks. Try their breakfast sandwich(your choice of meat, cheese and egg) with one of their home made cream cheese spreads! Awesome little joint.

Decent bagel if panera is your baseline. Compared to a real bagel, just so so. The geriatric crowd seems to dig it. It reminded me of going to the deli with my grandparents in south Florida.

Great local bagel joint where you’ll be greeted by the retired crowd. Skip the Seattle’s Best Coffee offered here but DO get any bagel with cream cheese(or a bacon, egg and cheese). Their bagels are freshly baked, more bready than a typical bagel but very soft. I tried the jalapeño cheddar with lite veggie cream cheese. The jalapeño flavor is pretty light, and unfortunately was quickly masked by the cream cheese, on a 1 – 5 of spice ratio I’d rank it as 1(or less if possible). One thing I liked about Island Bagel & Deli is that they serve their cream cheese on the side, as someone who consistently scrapes off at least a tablespoon worth of cream cheese from my bagel at competitors restaurants, it was really nice being able to spread it myself. I also tried a bite of the low country bagel with bacon on an Asiago, which was delicious. Island Bagel & Deli isn’t fancy but it definitely serves up a tasty bagel.

We’ve been coming to HHI since 1984 and never found this little gem. Great bagels and egg sandwiches! Great coffee(love the cinnamon coffee)! We went back several times during our recent stay. Met the owner, nice guy. Highly recommend this place.

Great find!!! We were driving from Parris Island with our 2 young kids and needed lunch. Googled this place and glad we did. The Bagel sandwiches were really good and pleasantly surprised. As others have noted the bagels were fresh. Ordered the pulled turkey, chicken melt along with soup Gumbo. Will definitely be back.

Thought we were going to bagel place that served eggs. Didn’t realize we were going to McDonald’s for microwaved eggs. Cancelled order got a refund and ran.

My first time to Hilton Head and trying to stay within budget, I purchased a Groupon to this place. It was a great decision! My group of four was impressed with my pick! We all got bagel sandwiches for brunch and they were so good, and big enough you could save half for later if you aren’t starving. Three of us got the specialty sandwich«Our Favorite» on an asiago bagel, and the odd one out got the steak and egg.

We have been visiting Hilton Head Island for several years. We just discovered this shop on our last visit in April of 2015. We really wished that we had found this earlier. We usually cook breakfast in the condo or go to McDonalds because we hadn’t found anything else worth getting up for, until now. We showed up at 9am in the middle of the week for our first visit. I ordered a low country breakfast sandwich with sausage. The kids had cinnamon raisin bagels, a cinnamon roll and my husband got the same sandwich as I did with bacon. Everything was great! They also have good coffee and tap soft drinks. A major plus for us. The service was excellent, quick and the atmosphere was laid back. A perfect spot to wake up and start our day. We will be coming back regularly.

Super duper expensive. Bacon egg and cheese was definitely microwaved. Definitely questionable. Tuna bagel is 7.00. Nothing made fresh. At all. Not a good place to eat.

So in preparation for my trip to HHI, I got some groupons/Living Social vouchers in advance. I actually accidentally ordered two to Island Bagel and Deli. I hoped to be use at least one of them — we will definitely use both of them. The bagel sandwiches we had were very tasty and reasonably priced($ 4.50 for a bagel sandwich with egg and a meat — unheard of where I am from in the DC area!). I am not sure about all of the complaints about the eggs being microwaved — mine tasted fine… and there are plenty of chains that microwave their eggs as well… I would recommend this place as a good change of pace place if you are getting tired of eating cereal in your villa!

Went there on our first day on the island, then tried a variety of other places on day two, and was back there by day three. Not gourmet, not New York bagels, but mighty fine food, sweet people, really respectable bagels and a nice selection of cream cheeses. You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome bagel sandwiches and a great selection of bagels to choose from. A little bit far to bike from Sea Pines Resort but worth the quick drive for a delicious breakfast.

Ok bagels, horrible Ruben(cold inside, meat is tough(meaning my incisors could not tear through the disgusting meat), one piece of bread was toasted the other was not, neither was grilled). I tried to return the sandwich and the lady at the cashier said«what happened to the other part of the half?». I had taken three bites before realizing it was inedible. She wouldn’t accommodate, would not switch out for a bagel, anything. In fact, she slid the plastic basket back at me. Awesome! Are u kidding me with that service? Oh, and they microwave their eggs? Wow. For this place to even be mentioned in the same light as New Jersey or New York is a joke. Go to Kroger and get Lender’s, save yourself the crappy service and blue shiny corned beef! Not even worth it with a $ 10 coupon.

The bagels are good, but definately not a NY or NJ bagel. They are better than a store bought bagel at grocery store. The crust was slightly too crisp. Only a little bit of cream cheese was on the bagel and it melted off so I really didn’t get any. The chalk hand-written menu is too small, faded, and too far away to read. I didn’t see a menu anywhere too hold and read. Has potential, but needs work.

The bagels are quite possibly the best ever! They are made in house(along with many flavors of cream cheese), which makes them even better in my book. The outside is a bit crunchy and the inside is soft and pillowy — perfect! I love, love, love bagels and was thrilled that my husband and I followed the recommendation of a friend and visited for breakfast while on our vacation. I couldn’t decide which bagel or cream cheese to order, so I got two of each. My first bagel was Asiago cheese with veggie cream cheese. I would have liked more Asiago in the bagel because I couldn’t really taste it, but it was still good. The veggie cream cheese was well blended and had good flavor. My second bagel was sun-dried tomato with sun-dried tomato cream cheese. This was the bomb — out of this world yummy!!! If you love sun-dried tomatoes like I do, then order this when you go — you will not be sorry. If you don’t want to over do it, at least get the sun-dried tomato cream cheese — I would eat an old shoe if it was covered in this stuff! My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. He got a jalapeño bagel(he said he could taste a bit of heat) with bacon, egg and cheese. The egg was cooked in the microwave, which means it was okay, just not fabulous. I am very sad that Island Bagel does not have a location where I live in Florida. I will miss it when my vacation is over. :-)

Their garlic bagels were perfected covered in toasted garlic. I recommend trying their sun dried tomato cream cheese. It was the best I’ve ever had!!!
