Hilton Head Bicycle Company

Taking a week vacation here on Hilton Head Idland, we found the bicycle company on Unilocal along with a few others. We called around and this place was the friendliest and the least expensive one that we dealt with! We were so pleased with the quality of the bikes and the service. They drop off and pick up your bikes so all you have to do is call and put your order in! We will definitely use them again! Thank you!!!

I an a local biker and these folks give great service and support at their shop. Bought bike there and everyone issue comes up they are glad to help and are not greedy. Small local owned business and they show it.

Great place. Owner operator. 15 $ for a 4 day bike rental with front basket and bike chain.
Owner was very helpful and didn’t mind chatting about all the places he has lived and worked.

Great customer service. I am a part time resident on Hilton head, and there fore it was difficult finding time to get my bike to the shop. I called this place, and they were able to pick up my bike (while I was gone) and bring it in to see what was wrong. The gears were sticking making it impossible to shift. After taking apart the shifter and putting in some lubrication, things started working normally. When they called me, they said it only took 5 mins, and therefore. NO CHARGE. They even delivered it back to the house. They won me over as a customer for life.

We love this company, very fast friendly yet professional service. Prices are more than reasonable as they are currently about $ 17 (w/​tax) for a bike rental for THE ENTIRE WEEK!!!
Hilton Head is a slower, more laid back sort of vacation and riding bikes along the beach or the many trails around the island is our families favorite way to spend time when vacationing here. We almost always find or see something interesting. One year it was a pod of dolphins playing just off shore, another year it was a huge jellyfish that washed up along the beach. Early mornings you will find tons of Seagulls chasing blue crabs or helmet crabs (who’s shell remains make cool souvenirs). If you are lucky, you will occasionally find the bleach white remains of a sand dollar.
The entire island is bike friendly for any age!!! It’s flat grounds throughout and the beach is hard like pavement closer to the water. The kids love to do spin outs and trick with their bikes along the beach.
All the bikes come with a basket for items you collect along the way and locking chains for securely storing outside. The best part is they pickup and drop-​off at no additional charge.
