Pizza was delicious and ready when promised. It was a hit with our whole family. Especially the buffalo pizza!

Pretty good pizza. Came here while visiting some family in the area and this place was recommended. I’m pretty picky when it comes to my pizza and though this pizza was just above average, I have to give them bonus points for their variety and ability to order by the slice! I had The vegetarian pizza slice and shared a house salad with my husband. My slice was so big I could not finish it. I also had some incredible sweet tea. They seem to brew it themselves and it is delicious! Not too sweet at all, just sweet enough. Along with the fun atmosphere, great staff, and the awesome 90’s music they were playing that night, I would recommend this joint.

No longer pet friendly. Don’t go here if you have a dog. They changed their policy without posting it on their website. But no worries both Captain Woodies and Smokehouse are pet Friendly.

What a great place! The pizza(buffalo chicken and Py’s pie) was amazing and the price was wonderful. The chicken tenders were homemade and delicious. Even with the amazing food, the best part wasn’t the food, it was the staff. We felt like we were family and my kids fell in love with this place. Don’t pass this place by!

First time at Fat Baby’s and I have to say the food is excellent but the service is really excellent! Our waitress Candra was extremely helpful and friendly. I came in with a bad mood and left with a smile thanks to her. Would recommend Fat Baby’s to anyone!

Loved this place. Glad we didn’t listen to the negative comments on here. Stopped by for a bite to eat our first night on the island and wasn’t disappointed. The garlic knots were incredible! We had calzones and they were huge and delicious as well. Liked it so much we stopped in again the next day for lunch. Had to try the single slice. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Really good pizza, calzones, and sandwhiches. 6 of us got an assortment including PMS, BBQ and Buffalo chicken pizzas, a calzone and 2 french dips. All excellent. Then great desserts and now time for sleep.

Stopped here to grab a carryout large pizza & cheese bread. The cost of $ 24 was reasonable for the amount of food. The place did not seem overly busy for a touristy location but the service was slow. Perhaps they were running short staffed and weren’t expecting such a Sunday evening rush. The staff was friendly & the bartender was interactive while I was waiting. My biggest disappointment was seeing what I thought was my pizza sitting on the back counter for about 10 minutes. I didn’t get it until asking the hostess how long my wait would be yet, at which point she went to get what was my pizza sitting there. By the time I got back to the family(less than a mile) it was of course not very hot. The pizza was adequate, not the best & not the worst. The restaurant itself is kid friendly with a large chalk board kids can draw on. I probably wouldn’t return, but for feeding a family of four it was definitely a practical experience & expense. From what I’ve heard they are a family owned location so there is something to be said in supporting the little guy.

After a day of traveling to Hilton head we wanted a good but easy meal. We ended up at Fat Baby’s Pizza and Subs. A friendly host seated us and we were promptly greeted by our waitress to see if she could get us anything to drink. We ordered and she gave us time to look over their menu. We tried The Fat Baby and we were not disappointed. We watched other tables get pizzas and sandwiches. They all looked hot and delicious. There was also a really nice mix of older and younger couples, families and groups of young people. A great place with delicious pizza.

We had our dog with us. They turned the heat on in the outdoor enclosed patio. Not only did they accommodate us, bring water for our dog, and constantly check out us, but the pizza was fabulous.

Got carry out one evening. The food was quite tasty. I only gave it 3 stars comparing it to all the other places I’ve dined at in Hilton Head but for what it is, a pizza and sub place it’s pretty darn good and recommend it highly if that’s what you’re looking for.

Good pizza. Neat atmosphere and great service. Ordered the garlic knots because the reviews were so polarizing. They were good. The pizza reminded of my favorite pizza back home(Fellini’s in Atlanta). We ordered a Pete’s Meats and it was very good. The crust was perfect, actually. Fat Baby’s was certainly a welcome find while traveling.

Bad service and worse food. I came here with a group of friends and children(4 adults and 2 children) and were given some of the worst service I have ever received. We came in and sat on the deck, it was closed in and air conditioned, that was about the only good part of it. We ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer, as we had very hungry children, who devoured it, so by the time we complained that it was just buttered bread with barley a sprinkle of garlic powder, we were refused a refund. The pizza, don’t get me started. We ordered a pepperoni? Pizza and a fat baby. The cheese and meat were so/so, but the crust may as well have been cardboard. I’d avoid this place at all costs. Oh yeah, and get a new garlic bread recipe.

Based on reviews selected this place over others. Was like cardboard. Terrible pizza. Garlic knots were hard and crust you could not even eat it was that hard. Bad pizza do not go

My husband and I were vacationing here and we’re both big pizza lovers. Anytime we go somewhere new, we always try and find the best local pizza. I’m so glad Unilocal led us to here because we loved it! We tried the pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and the Dog Bowl because who can resist that one? It was all very delicious! I’ll be missing this place when we have to go back home.

Funky pizza joint with a sports bar atmosphere, and friendly pleasant servers… but with a surprisingly great margharita pizza, thin crusted with generous dollops of fine quality, mozzarella cheese. On Sundays and Mondays you can get a small portion of spaghetti for $ 1 accompanied by a $ 2 meatball… despite the ridiculously fair prices the food is ridiculously good… the marinara sauce is thick and full flavored… the meatballs were meaty and not«bready». The menu is limited. Don’t expect to find a white clam sauce or any great fish dishes… but what is done… is done very well. Bottom line: if you’re in the mood for one of the best pizzas on Hilton Head or basic italian fare at very fair prices you cannot do any better than Fat Baby’s Pizza.

Ordered margharita pizza — not very good. Crust way over cooked, and they cooked the fresh basil ??? We asked for some more fresh basil which helped with the flavor but you couldn’t get past that crust Service okay but I not inclined to return.

Went here back in June. The price is not bad and the food was really good. The sizeable portion is always a plus. The waitress was really nice and suggestive. I got the buffalo chicken calzone. Delish. I will go back when we return to Hilton Head.

Reminded me of a Mom and Pop shop(it actually probably is). Easy dinner spot, no frills or anything fancy. Just a good environment to relax and get some pizza and sandwiches, or a Greek salad if you’re in the mood for something less greasy. Dinner here won’t break your budget and you’ll enjoy that family-environment feeling where you can comfortably ask your server for recommendations and variations to your meal while casually chatting with your neighbors at the table over. Fat Baby’s seems like a staple on the island for locals and guests alike, giving off the vibe that everyone’s family and all are welcome.

This review has been a long time coming. Fat Baby’s is definitely a staple on the Island. Great pizza and sandwiches, fresh ingredients, service is good and the owner is a long time local. Pretty much raised in Philly so I know my pizza. Been living in Bluffton since 2007. Used to drive to Georgia for a decent pizza. Giuseppi’s forget about it!

Phenomenal pizza(although more Southern than NYC style) Ambience is a little loud, because of all the sports-playing TVs and kid-friendly theme. The salads are large enough and it’s a good family value.

I really loved my calzone and so did my daughter. My husband ordered one with mushrooms and was disappointed that the mushrooms were canned with the amount of made fresh ingredients. There’s a little gelato stop around the corner to round out the night in Italian style. I would stick with a traditional cheese with awesome garlic and other flavoring for a simple yet delicious option. The mor ingredient the less satisfying in our experienceS.

Loved everything we had. We visited with 2 families and 8 people total. The 4 kids shared a large pizza and were very happy. The adults started with garlic knots and meatballs. Both of which were so good we dared not share with a single kid keeping them all to ourselves. One of us ordered a margarita pizza slice(added chicken), the other a meat/cheese calzone, another the parmasean chicken sandwich, and finally a caprese salad. We shared everything! EThe portions were huge so each of us had a little of all the food and it was delicious and filling. My favorite had to be the calzone. A definite must.

We had a Pete’s Meat pie and it didn’t disappoint. Kinda hard to either wow or disappoint with something such as pizza, so we decided it was very good, just didn’t blow our socks off. Wife had an antipasto salad which was large and more than satisfactory to her. Beer selection was a little limited, but overall a good experience.

Ordered take out pizza and bruschetta for an easy dinner, and we were thoroughly disappointed. We got the py’s pie and artichoke bruschetta. The pizza was mediocre. Crust was hard and sauce was super salty. The bruschetta was so ridiculously salty that we only ate a couple bites. Yuck! As I was paying I ended up adding a cheesecake bite dessert to my order. That ended up being the only tasty part of our meal. You’re better off with a frozen pizza thang ordering take out from here.
