It would have been perfect, except there were orange chunks in my orange/kale med. drink. I know you got really busy, but would it have hurted to allow it to blend a bit longer?

The smoothies are insanely good! It’s a nice and healthy way to cool off on a hot and humid day in Hilo. The service is quick and watching the workers zip through blender after blender is a treat. They do have a secret menu and yes I do order from it! Awesome!

Typical Jamba Juice with fast & friendly service. 4 stars because of ample parking directly in front of store and knowledge staff to input a printed BOGO offer. See pictures for location help as this JJ is not in the mall.

Whenever I need a boost and have a craving for a fruity-juicy-cool-refreshing-invigorating-power boosting-picker upper — Jamba Juice is my go to place. I especially love their Pomegranate pick me up with a boost of whey protein and sometimes with a touch of wheat grass. I go mostly during the summer months to Jamba Juice, because their smoothies cool me down, fill me up and taste soooo yummy! Another favorite, especially when I feel a little under the weather, is the ColdBuster. They also have pastries & pretzels, if you need a little more then a smoothie to satisfy your craving. The staff is friendly and provide you with fast service, even on a busy day.

Jamba Juice makes the best smoothies. On a hot day this is the place to stop by and get a cold drink. Or if your just wanting a smoothie drink to get you through until your next meal. What I like about Jamba Juice is that there are so many different flavor combinations of drinks. From a healthy carrot or wheat grass juice to a mixed berry or orange dream smoothie. They can custom make a drink to your liking if there is nothing on the menu that you might like. It is also a good option that you can add a boost to your drink like energy, protein and immunity. Other items that they have on the menu are oatmeal bowls, wraps and baked goods like cookies if you want something to eat. The service is friendly and fast, and you are able to get your drink in less than five minutes even if they are busy. For a delicious smoothie or a quick healthy bite to eat Jamba Juice is a good option.

Wow, I have never tasted a chemical taste in any of my Jamba drinks(like the other reviewer) nor have I ever tried to order a straight banana smoothie… I am so happy that there is a Jamba here to enjoy. I had my regular all fruit strawberry whirl on my first visit and the double protein on my other visits(now that I have taken the weight off I am trying to muscle up at the local Penn fitness muscle gym). The people here were extremely friendly and polite. I will be back here on this and future visits.

Okay, so I’m on a mission now. My favorite smoothie place, Surf City Squeeze, got put out of business by Jamba Juice, and now I’m annoyed that I can’t get anything other than the double J. When I first moved to San Francisco several years ago, I was so excited to have a chain like Jamba Juice offering healthy alternatives on every corner. Now that I can’t find anything else, though, I’m a little miffed. Tired of all the same flavors, I decided to take JJ up on their«substitute any fruit» offer. I asked for a banana smoothie with nothing else. I’ve now tried it at different JJs, sometimes with juice, sometimes with nondairy mix, sometimes with the sherbet… as many different ways as I could. Here’s the thing, though – it doesn’t taste like banana. It tastes like chemical supplements, no matter what they mix with it. Now I can’t have any jamba juice smoothie without tasting that chemical taste. It’s really unfortunate, but I just want something that’s really just fruit. The kicker for me was seeing that JJ is dominating in Kona on a recent trip to Hawaii. On an island where mangos, papayas, oranges, bananas, persimmons, lemons, and all kinds of other fruit grow outside your window, they make the same formulaic chemical smoothies. Very sad. For now, I’ll stick to my blender and a good produce selection.
