We visited this gallery three days ago and had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Neumann at great length. Not only is he a genuinely nice person, but he’s very talented. He paints (mostly large) pictures of the American roadside (diners, etc.) and also people. The people in two of his paintings almost jumped off the canvas; that’s how realistic they looked. He uses beautiful colors, too. Mr. Neumann is quite an interesting person; he’s also a musician and a teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with him!
(Note that the Gilded Moon Gallery in Millerton also exhibits his work, and in fact he works there part-​time).
