Just had a fabulous meal with 30 Of my closest friends! Waitress, Carissa, did an awesome job taking care of all 30 of us. Food was delicious! Each dish that came out looked better than the one before! Everyone loved their meal and left satisfied! Plan to return next time we are in Hillsboro!

I’ve had lunch and take-out here in the last week– I might be over doing it on the Italian food side of things, but it’s just so delicious. I met a friend for lunch here and figured it would be purrrfect since we’re both pregnant and you can’t ever go wrong with various combinations of carbs, meat, and cheese. We both ordered the salad and slice lunch deal. Which, WAS A DEAL. Hot damn. It was a big salad with lots of toppings(olives, onions, tomatoes, cukes) and a giant slice of semi-greasy NY style pizza with your choice of toppings. YUM. All for under $ 10 w/tip. Our server was very attentive and nice and came by to check on us periodically. My second experience here I ordered a Veggie Stromboli for takeout. It was about $ 10 in itself which is a little pricey for lunch but when I opened the box– HOLYCRAPTHESTROMBOLIISHUGE. This can easily be split between two people or split halfsies for lunch AND dinner in a day.

Everything I’ve had here is good. I primarily get takeout. Food travels well and still tastes good at home.

Went here with my boyfriend the other night. We haven’t been in years. My pasta dish was excellent — the penne alla vodka with chicken. However, he had the chicken picatta, which was only ok. It had a lot of lemon seeds in it. The caesar salads were very bland… no parmesean cheese, but it was loaded with mozzarella, so that was a bit strange. Service was great.

The food has consistently gone downhill with each visit. Tonight we stopped by at 8:28 for some quick takeout since they close at 9 only to find their doors locked. Who turns away money!!! Evidently they do and I can guarantee that they don’t even care based on how they treat their customers.

Loyalty means nothing. Was recently in during lunch, which I do at least once every 2 weeks. Of course being a lunch hour, I only had an hour. My order was simple, pasta. My colleague and I waited and waited(she had only ordered salad). Finally we had to go so we asked them to put the food in to go containers when it was ready. When we paid there was no offer of anything complimentary or apologies. Simply, «you don’t have much time for lunch do you». I have spent hundreds of dollars there over the past few years, I could have at least gotten my tea free for being inconvenienced. Disappointed in today’s experience.

I’ve been here many times, but recently I’ve had such good experiences that I wanted to share! My Girl Scout troop has been selling cookies and Vinny’s is one of the locations we have set up booths. The people at Vinny’s have always been very kind about us being there. Last night was a very cold night and we finished up our cookie booth at 8pm. My daughter and I went in for some dinner. The manager was very kind. He asked about how the cookie booths have been and u repeated our offer of a thank you box of cookies. He took us up on the offer and also said that he would give a discount for our dinner. He did not need to do that. Vinny’s was already being helpful by allowing Girl Scout troops to set up booths there. My daughter and I had a nice dinner. She got a couple slices of cheese pizza. I ordered the chicken parm sub.(One of my standard orders!) I also orders take-out to bring home to my husband. At check out the manager gave me the discount he had mentioned which I thought was above and beyond. This place is very family friendly and the food is pretty good too!

Just returned from Vinny’s. I enjoyed my Vinny’s club sandwich very much. Ham, turkey, cheese and bacon on toasted white bread with a side of onion rings. Delicious! My friend had a Hawaiian pizza that he was very pleased with, as well! Hearty meal for eleven bucks!

The West Coast Pizza is amazing. That’s all I have to say. I order it for take out about once a month and have never had any issues with customer service or quality.

I love Vinny’s! :) My in laws live nearby so I’m always eager to suggest this place. Pizza is thin crust and everything is fresh(fresh sliced sausage on the pizza instead of crumbles, homemade blue cheese dressing with chunks of blue cheese). My husband’s family also knows some people who work there so it’s always a good atmosphere there :) personally I would pick Vinny’s over any other pizza place any day.

I usually enjoy coming here but it seems that it gets worse each time I’m here. I came in for lunch and got a entrée with a free salad. Unfortunately I can not eat salad and the server said I could have soup instead. Apparently soup costs much more than salad because I would of had to pay an extra $ 2.00 for the soup. After speaking to the manager, he could only say I could not get soup because«that’s the rule». Some of the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. And the prices keep going up also. I would not recommend this place at all unless you like poor customer service and dry bread.

I ordered a bacon calzone. It was so full of bacon grease you could squeeze it, which I did, and it flowed out onto the plate. Absolutely gross and inedible. Waiter acted as though he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. Cold and old garlic bread. I had a bad experience when I ate here about three years ago. BEWARNED. This food is not safe or edible. Never again.

I’ve been to Vinny’s a few times hoping it would get better but it hasn’t. It’s sad when the service is better than an establishment’s food. It’s not the worst food I’ve eaten but it’s a cheap imitation of how it’s presented on the menu. The steak and cheese was okay but not what I expected. Money wise it’s a good deal but I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

Vinny’s is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I go out with my friends a couple times a month and we always choose Vinny’s! The food is GREAT. The lasagna is my favorite. And not to mention, the staff always works so hard to keep everyone happy. They’re always friendly and they greet everyone with a smile. If you’re looking for a great meal with a comfortable atmosphere, Vinny’s is the way to go.

Our previous experience at Vinny’s was bad(take out pizza), so we stayed away for awhile. Decided on a whim to check out their pasta offerings tonight– not much better. To begin with, the garlic bread or whatever that was supposed to be was stale, dried out, and relatively tasteless. My wife had the cheese ravioli, which she liked OK since it was very cheesy, but the chicken parm I had was awful. The sauce was way over-salted, the chicken was dry… just bad all around. Waitstaff was harried since it was pretty busy, but never stopped back to check on us after delivering the food until the check arrived. We had higher hopes for this visit since we live nearby, love Italian food, and this is the closest sit-down place to us, but we won’t be back.

Have had takeout pizza since my previous poor review and it was much better. Still not great, but it wasn’t bad and I would take pizzas out again if I needed to. Spinach white is probably the best one and the cheese is not bad, but not very good leftover.

The food at this place was impressively bad. The food was some of the worst I have had in a restaurant in some time. I love Italian food and am always impressed when a restaurant manages to make it turn out considerably worse than what you would get with mid-range quality bottled sauce and noodles from the store. My husband and I each had two different styles of the house wine — both of which were so bad as to almost be undrinkable. Next we had the complimentary bread which was also awful. My husband remarked it tasted like stale popcorn. I love garlic bread and will eat way too much of it, but I ate less than one half piece of this stuff. For dinner I had cheese tortellini with pesto. I have no idea where they found this thin pale green sauce they called pesto. Interestingly, it had some bits of parsley on top which made me wonder if they even knew pesto is supposed to be made with basil. The noodles themselves were large and rather flavorless. Any bag of frozen tortellini from the grocery store is considerably better than these. My father in-law got some marinara sauce on the side that I decided to sample to see if by adding it I could improve my own food. It was terrible, salty and decidedly lacking in the flavor of tomato and herbs that this type of sauce should have. Overall, I could not believe there were so many people dining there and that anyone would suggest this was a good place to eat. The prices were not high, but were equivalent for what real Italian food costs. Stay home and use Ragu and you will save money and have a better experience. I should add the waitress was nice — only positive I can say.

Great place for casual Italian dining. If you order a large pizza bring a LARGE appetite. pasta is great. Beer and Wine list is good. Inside the Churton Grove Food Lion Shopping Center — St. Mary’s and US-70, West of St. Mary’s and East of Miller. St. Mary’s and Miller are both ‘lights.’
