Pizza was too salty and pastas were bland. Thank there might be better places for pizza and pasta in Hillsborough.

He is a big supporter of local events but otherwise the pizza is not very good and they continually screw up my orders. I would pass on this place. Not missing anything

Angelo’s is the town favorite. I have been going here for at least 15 years now. Angelo and his staff are the sweetest. They really get to know everyone. Not only are they very kind, their pizza is the best. Whenever I eat other pizza, I compare it to Angelo’s pizza. I have never had better pizza anywhere else. I highly recommend their tomato and garlic pizza or their BLT pizza. I recommend trying the garlic knots and Gino’s special(a sub.)

Best pizza in Hillsborough — authentic, Italian, NJ/NY pies. Family owned and always consistent!

You can never go wrong with Angelo’s. Grew up like most people where Friday night was always pizza night and typically that meant Angelo’s. Most important aspect of what makes a good pizza place to me is consistency. Some pizza places you go once and it’s a great pie, then the next time you go the cheese is runny, the dough is undercooked, the crust is nonexistent, or any other issues but with Angelo’s they are consistent so you can always count on a solid pie. Sauce has a nice sweetness to it. Crust is nice and crisp, and the pizza isn’t too greasy. I really enjoy the chicken pizza as well. Angelo’s is Hillsborough. Any kid that grew up in the 90s playing a sport in that town has been up on that wall at some point. Angelo always makes you feel welcome and that same quality is shared among everybody else there. They also have the BEST chicken parm sandwiches

Had margarita and ziti pizza. Came here with a large group after a long hike from a nearby park. Pizza was good but we were starving. Portion size was good.

Been coming here since I was a little kid. Angelo is a sweetheart, and so is Rico! He knows everyone by name, and makes sure you feel like family. We used to get free balls of dough from Angelo as kids so we could play catch/monkey in the middle in the parking lot. Doesn’t get much better than that! He’s always been a huge supporter of Hillsborough athletics, and he deserves to be a town favorite. Love these guys! The food is also great, obviously! haha

If this is the best pizzeria in Hillsborough, that doesn’t say much for pizza in Hillsborough. The pizza is way too salty. I wish I could give Angelo’s a better rating; the owners seem very nice, and this place is aparently near and dear to the residents of this town, but I’m being generous with my 2 stars.

A real fixture in the community. Great pizza, penne vodka, eggplant parm, lasagna, calzones. Angelo is a huge supporter of athletics and other kids’ programs. Can get crowded at times, but one of the best in town.

I’ve been coming here since I was 5 years old… best pizza in town! Angelo is the man, the rest of the staff is great.

Good food! But man, bad service, don’t open if you are not ready to serve your clients.

Great pizza and long standing Hillsborough business. My 4 year old won’t even eat pizza from anywhere else.

Excellent pizza. Unbelievable service! Unbeatable! They even created a custom dish for me when I had a special diet. Hands down, first choice in area!

Awesome pizza and dinners. However, they are extremely crowded on the weekends and usually have long wait times on deliveries. Also, I was informed they don’t deliver to millstone(which has the same Zip code as hillsborough and doesn’t have any of their own pizza places) I guess it depends on who you get when you call to place an order bc some will allow a millstone delivery and some won’t.

Pizza was pretty good. I like a larger selection of pizza-by-the-slice than they have compared to other places in town. Staff was friendly. Clear that the owner is community minded so that is really cool. Maybe next time I will order a whole pizza.

Worst pizza place I’ve ever ordered from. I’m never coming here again. Got a large when I ordered a small, no buffalo sauce with the wings, charged a credit card fee without my knowledge and a delivery fee when it says free delivery… The pizza was ok. Not at all worth the bad service and experience.

I recently had to cater a 50th Birthday party for my wife and was looking for a local place. A number of friends recommended Angelo’s and I am glad that they did! The food was ready on time, hot and, outstanding. I received many compliments throughout the day about the quality of the food. At the last minute I added a tracy of Eggplant Parm to my order and that was the hit of the party. The Penne Vodka was great as was the Chicken Francese. My only(small) complaint was the broccoli in the Cavatelli & Broccoli was overcooked. I ordered full trays but asked to have them provided in half trays so I could keep some of the food in the oven and keep what was out fresher. This worked out very well. I will definitely use them again — I just wish I had used them for other events in the past!

Okay, Angelos doesn’t have the best pizza I’ve ever had. There are a number of pizza places I would rather eat at than Angelos. But what Angelos has is history and lasting memories. Angelo has been a longtime supporter of Hillsborough Athletics and does a great deal for the school and communities. He’s almost like an ambassador for the town. I love going back there because you can get pizza by the slice, the same great service, good pizza and low prices. On the walls are pictures of student athletics in years past. It’s great to see this pizza place stay the same throughout your childhood. Their slices are pretty big so one should be enough for most people unless you’re really hungry. Best place in Hillsborough to eat Pizza, that’s for sure.

Angelo’s is the best pizzeria in town. This family restaurant always has delicious pizzas up for slices and has a fantastic, authentic Italian menu. I always customize my pizza with light cheese and basil, and the staff is alway so friendly and helpful! Angelo is always there catching up with his customers and making new regulars out of newcomers. His son Gino and partner Rico are also very courteous and friendly! the waitresses and kitchen guys are always smiling and make you feel part of the Angelo’s family. GOHERE! It’s the best place in Hillsborough, hands down.

I grew up in Hillsborough eating Angelo’s every Friday night. Every time I’m at my parents’ house, I make a point of getting Angelo’s. It’s just perfect NY-style pizza.
