I swear I find it funny that I can walk around this store for 30 to 45 min before ANY of the women will bother to help you. Today for example they were all about trying on mardi gras masks. So today was 40 min and never greeted. I come here maybe once in a while and every time zero service. Just be prepared.

I love Pier 1, they have everything I could ever want for entertaining and more importantly for my holiday decorating. I have purchased nearly all my holiday decorations from Pier 1 and continue to add to my collection every year. They have fantastic candles and stemware and just about everything. I did purchase a chair from them once for a bedroom and it was crap. I would not suggest purchasing furniture from them, but I love everything else. Parking is easy and the employees are very helpful.

A husbands worst nightmare… that’s Pier 1. I could empty our bank account here every month for a year here and still want more! I love it! I have never bought furniture here so I am a bit curious as to the quality and life of their pieces, but just looking at them I have to say their furniture is gorgeous! I love the linens, the pillows and glassware. There are many unique items here that would add so much pizzazz to any room in your house. Rugs, wood furniture, stemware, and lighting galore! I come here at least once a year for stocking stuffers. They always have a fun little assortment of things priced under $ 5.00 near the register just for that purpose. And for a quick last minute gift, there is usually something here that fits that bill superbly! What I don’t like so much are their candles. They are okay, but I think they are best used as décor and not burning, unless you are burning them just for looks. With regards to burning candles for the scent, I would stick to Yankee Candles.

I’m a soap addict! I love exotic and unusual soaps from foreign lands. They had a variety of fantastic soap from Italy, France, Scotland, China and India. They also had some really neat pillows and some comfy sofas and chairs. Although I don’t like wicker furniture they have some really cute items. I also liked the dish and china sauce sets they have too. There’s a big sale going there right now so check them out.
