This place is the best. It sits directly behind the Orenco station max station. The area is clean, the cart is clean. The menu is everything from burgers to burritos and street tacos. You can stop here in a rush and grab a bite to go, or they will deliver to you. Crazy, right? A food cart that delivers. The service is epic. They make is fresh for you and have a great attitude.

Friday night. Headed home. Tired, hungry, and ornery. Bus driver drops me off at the Orenco Station &231st Park & Ride lot(right behind the MAX stop there) and announces this is the last stop on the line. Even though I’m used to hearing this, it just sounds kind of bleak and unfriendly for a Friday night. With no other thought than going home and too tired to care about anything creative for dinner, my eyes take in Orenco Station Concessions super shiny, super spiff, super clean food cart(again one of those places I keep meaning to stop at). My spirits were immediately lifted by the nice people who run the cart, and then my spirits were lifted even further when they indicate they take cash and card. Should I drop to my knees or genuflect or bow? Don’t know, but damn I was a soon-to-be very happy food cart customer at that point. The nice cart people were patient with me as I took in the menu with it’s many fine choices(burgers, sandwiches). I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and paid with my card(gotta love being able to swipe your card through the little attachment to androids and i-phones). They included a pack of plain Lay’s potato chips. Even though I was tired, hungry, and ornery, I chatted with the nice people about their cart and its name and also how I love the flavor of onions, but the actual onions can upset my stomach. They left off the onions and didn’t even complain I had offered TMI. I decided not to eat there, but to head right home. They do have a table and chairs there at the food cart, but I so wanted to be home. Of course, there were problems with the MAX train(Murphy’s Law). All of us had to disembark and get on another train, but that went pretty smoothly and we were never behind schedule, but by the time I got home I was ready to be a little surly with anybody who got between me and my sandwich. However, the wait was so worthwhile. The first thing that struck me was the high quality of the hamburger bun. Even after the long ride home, it stood up to a pretty generous amount of pulled pork with a bit of sauce, yet did not disintegrate into chunks of bun and meat, but allowed me to pick it up and eat it whole bite by delicious bite. No meat flew out the sides and no sauce leaked out either. The meat itself was tender and of high quality with just enough sauce that was a little tomato-ish, a little sweet-ish, a little smoky-ish, a little spicy-ish, in other words really just right-ish. Friday night. Home. No longer hungry or ornery, just tired and happy. If you have a case of the Friday night tired, hungry, and ornery blues(or are just plain hungry), stop at Orenco Station Concession and they will find the cure for what ails you.

Amaaaaaaazing. Best burger in the area. Just had the jalapeño jack with garlic fries. The burger just melts in your mouth and the fries had lots-a real garlic on them. Yum! I like that they use top-quality beef from painted hills as well, no mystery meat here.

Delicious!!! I’ve passed this neighborhood cart so many times wondering if I should give them business. I always just walk the 10 more minutes home and eat there since I am usually disappointed by restaurant food. The guy who works here is really friendly and even recognized me although I hadn’t ever tried the food. I ordered a cheeseburger and pulled pork sandwich for my man. We tried half of each and were so impressed! The flavors were spot on and the pork wasn’t sweet at all which made it extra delicious. They get their beef locally and really care about the food they are serving. I’ll have to remember to tell them to skip the Doritos chips next time, because I don’t eat that kind of stuff. No more New Seasons burgers for me! I wish this place had longer hours and also served coffee. Then it’d be 5 stars without a doubt. Great food cart.

My little one is going through a time. She is getting more and more teeth… which means I am not sleeping and I still have to work and function. Tonight, is another night after a long day of baby crying and nap refusals and blah blah blah… so I text my guy and say I DONOTWANTTOCOOK … He suggests he picks up burgers at the station on the way home. I was hesitant at first, but then I remember the owner guy over at Savory Spoon said the burger was great, so I replied, «sure, lets give it a go». The menu is interesting. There are the regular things but also some creative things as well. Right now, they are featuring this pepperoni burger and while I did not order that, I thought it could be fun to try after a few drinks! I mean, who doesn’t have some love for some pizza after a cocktail or two? Just me? OK… well then… Anyhoo, to test the quality of the goods, I just ordered a bacon cheese burger with NOTHINGONIT. You know, so you can taste the ingredients and make a judgement. Well, CHAOS of getting off work and a 16 month old who is refusing to eat meant I could not eat my burger until about 30 minutes AFTER my guy was home with the order. Well, it was still warm and it was pretty damn good. The meat was cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy and the cheese was delightfully melted. All in all, I am happy I did not have to cook tonight and I am glad that we decided to order from Orenco Station Concessions.
