My family of three stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday so, that we would be close to my relatives whom we were in town visiting. The cabin is constructed of vintage lumber from a demolished barn and cabin and mortared together in a very authentic manner. Beautiful mason glass jars or other vintage glass are artfully placed in the mortar to allow light in to the cabin in a unique way. The cowhide rug near fireplace and coyote pelt hanging over loft rail gave the cabin its wilderness feel despite it’s location within Hillsboro city limits. The cabin has electricity, central heat & air, along with indoor plumbing so, you do not have to rough-it out as you would have during the pioneer era. Alice, was so sweet during our stay and made a hot breakfast for us every morning even on the Thanksgiving holiday. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable and the slip-cover furniture cozy. I highly recommend a stay here if you want a relaxing retreat to unwind at in Hillsboro, Ohio. Thanks for a great stay, Alice & Mark!!! Hope to visit Coyote Creek Farm again soon.

Lovely, cozy, peaceful, secluded, quiet B&B in a 19th century log cabin on a working cattle farm. The large bedroom’s windows behind the bed open out onto a small stream that sings you to sleep. There is a second sleeping space: a cool little low ceilinged sleeping loft accessed by a ladder, perfect for kids. The cabin is somewhat rustic but comfortably and tastefully decorated, with a big stone fireplace inside and a firepit outside. The owners are friendly, and Alice whips up a great breakfast up at the farmhouse and brings it down to the cabin.
