This place truly confused me… I do realize that it’s under the same company as Papa vino’s, but there is zero distinction. Decoration and menu offerings to me looked exactly the same… Food-wise, we ordered chicken scallopini, veal Marsala, and shrimp fra Diavolo… all of them were disappointing in terms of food tastes except for the shrimp fra diavolo which tasted slightly better. Papa actually tastes better. The better part of the meal was probably their bread… But it was cold when they served it the second time. Service was just an okay… and they have no birthday specials/treats even though we’ve asked because it happened to be someone’s birthday. Sorry-I unfortunately will not consider returning here.

We dined here due to a discount coupon. Sadly, they’re likely a few weeks away from closing. There had been a water leak in the ceiling with a small puddle of water in the dining room. The ambiance was flat, and most importantly, the food was less than outstanding. The pasta was bland, the sauce was weak, the bread was hard, and the experience was poor. We’ll stick with Olive Garden or Mac Grill when we want Italian food.

Fantastic Experience: Had lunch with my wife. She ordered the Tuscan Chicken Salad, which was really good, and I ordered the waiters suggestion of Baci&Prociutto — Wow! This is my new favorite! I’m anxious to try dinner here sometime soon.

Two glasses sent back because they were dirty. It’s hard to get a 1/16″ thick steak cooked medium rare. The quality of the food is just not there. Slightly better than fast food.

Half full on a Saturday night, but people waiting to be seated? There were no joke-20 dirty tables and no busboy. I literally stared at the same filthy dishes at the tables around us our entire meal. The bathrooms were soiled with urine and feces unattended to. We told the hostess and so did another guest. She said«ok thanks», but did nothing about it. Then we found out she wasn’t just the hostess, but the manager?!? Oh and the GM was cooking. What?!? The food was cold and disgusting, so maybe the GM with the beard is a lousy cook as well as a lousy leader. Our server was sweet but overwhelmed by what can only be described as a complete disregard for how to run an organized business. I saw 5 – 6 groups of people leave before being seated, and I was jealous of them all. Constructive advice from someone who will likely never be back: — fire your GM and pay someone who is qualified — hire a busser(they clean restrooms and tables), a hostess, and a head chef/cook — these will cost a lot of money at first, but not as much as the lost business will.

Upon walking in, we noticed the restaurant wasn’t busy for a Friday night. The server, Never ask us anything! If was our first and last time in! She could not explain the substance on the plate she added oil too– I asked and she said she never tried it and would ask-she never did! So we did not try it. Our food was cold and very bland! We didn’t even touch our food and she never asked-just if we needed boxes! We said no! We will not be returning!

. Waitress was friendly. Food presentation was not appealing but tasted okay. Grilled chicken was what I would have expected from fast food restaurant. Floors needed to be cleaned. Don’t plan on going back

Service was great. By far the best server I have had in years. The food tasted strange. I ordered eggplant parm and the spaghetti tasted like plastic. The eggplant wasn’t bad.

All I can say is WOW!!! Just discovered this place last night and I literally had the best Chicken Parmesan ever! I am a huge Italian food fan… I was impressed on the amount of food I received for the price. Very friendly atmosphere and service. Taylor our server was on top of things. My drink never went empty. I see other reviews that weren’t so good on here. I strongly suggest they go back and try them out again.

Below average Italian. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else instead. My wife says she could get better chicken marsala at a college cafeteria. The«sizzleini» I had was just ridiculously spicy spaghetti. Our server was reasonably competent but the place was understaffed, so service was spotty.

Service was great upon being seated… Food was cold when brought to the table… «Remaking it» = reheating until rubbery and scorched. Asked for wine list, and was brought the same $ 10 glass of wine instead… Crafty. No discount or apologies. Haven’t been here in years, thought we would give it a try… Will not be visiting again!!!

It’s homecoming night and we had been waiting for a while for a table which was normal, however, people coming in after us were going to the bar then getting seated and orders taken while we were still waiting. Couldn’t believe it. This needs to be addressed.

Stopped by for a lunch after passing the restaurant many evening when the parking lot was packed. We were seated immediately and our server promptly brought our drinks and a fantastic serving of bread and dipping oil. The menu was standard Italian… spaghetti, lasagne, pizza, fettucine, great salads and soup. I ordered a rigatoni and my husband had spaghetti. The orders came promptly and were delicious. The food was delicious and unpretentious. Great place for families and the ambience was just right. Nice place for a casual evening and nicely priced.

One server for 26 people. I don’t get it. We stopped in here as a group and we did call ahead. Not the restaurant for lunch cannot handle a group of 26, just say so. You would figure that they would assign more than one server for a group as large as ours as the service was lacking to say the least. This is not to indict the server in any way she ran her tail off but when you are refilling drinks as many times has she had to he was obviously quite busy. The food was lackluster to say the least. I do like me some chicken parmesan but I found the sauce to be bland, the pasta overcooked, and the chicken was a little on the greasy side it probably should have drained a little longer. The food quality, gauging from the lack of upkeep to the restaurant, parking lot, and the huge freaking hole in the sidewalk right by the front door indicated to me that this place does not have much revenue to work with. You can’t really screw up Italian food that badly, but I fear that this place is a victim of an area that was not doing well financially. The restaurant that used to be right next door to this place was closed. I really don’t see this place around too much longer

Great food! Service was a little slow definitely would repeat. Overall the food quality was good the biggest problem with the server and waited for almost 5 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was half empty

Four stars for what it is, an American chain of Italian theme competing a step below Olive Garden in concept. I have never eaten in the dining room, though it looks clean. I do takeout from here every so often for lunch. They make a good lunch, though I wouldn’t suggest it for someone seeking authentic Italian. I like their spegehti dish and fettuccine alfredo. Both meals are delish. For the price point. The pasta is cooked smoothly, and the sauce taste better than from a can– though I suspect it is from the concept. Their bread stick rocks – it actually could take Olive Garden to the wire. Their Caesar salad is standard. They have a full menu of Italian staples and nothing else, so they stay focus on that one cuisine and not a random mismatch assortment that some chains mistakenly do. They always have it hot and ready for pick-up. This is a good standard chain to visit on a lazy shopping afternoon, before a game, or for a hot meal at break.

Really good food at a fair price. They were really careful with my son’s allergies. Wine list was solid. We don’t live in this part of town so we don’t get here often. The prices were significantly better than other chain Italian places. Portions were sizable. We did not order dessert but it looked really good at the neighboring table.

I stopped in because it was close to my hotel and the weather was bad. Am I glad I did! I ordered the pork chops and had sausage and peppers, as an appetizer. Needles to say most of my entrée had to be boxed for later. The sausage was slightly spicy, and cooled to perfection. The red sauce, peppers and onions were delightful as well. The pork chops were very tender and flavorful, and HUGE. Perfect grill marks too! I cannot comment on the Tuscan potatoes as I opted for broccoli instead, as I am not a fan of potatoes in general. But both the Italian mixed, and side of broccoli were very well prepared. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and professional. If I am ever in this area again I will go out of my way.

As Ben T. mentioned, I’d put Spageddies in for a close second to Papa Vino’s. We were looking for something simple, reasonably fast and definitely edible. Arriving around 6 on a Tuesday we were sat immediately and ordered some cocktails and wine. Bread came straight away for their garlic olive oil dipping plate which I personally enjoyed… their bread is pretty good too. We started with the Papa’s Trio. Fried Calamari with a tomato red pepper marinara, Crab stuffed and wood fired baby portobellos, and their bruschetta. Of the three the bruschetta was a little weak but still pretty good. It would’ve been nice if the tomatoes weren’t so large and the cheese a little melted to keep the topping from all falling off. The mushrooms were really good and I’m not a true fan of funghi — I liked these a lot. The calamari was fried well, tender, and the sauce was nice. For the entrée, travel buddy had the Chicken Marsala which he didn’t love but he’s also extremely hard to please… but I’d concur that it didn’t look very rich. The Penne Carbonara I had was just OK, but I couldn’t stop eating it with the bits of bacon, fresh mushroom and the Alfredo… not bad, but I would order something new on the return visit. We thought we’d splurge on dessert and try three. The Tiramisu, the Lemon Tango Cake and the cannoli. The cannoli was very very sad! The shell was limp and soggy which, honestly, was expected. We were obviously not at an Italian bakery but had to see anyway. The filling was heavy on Amaretto and cinnamon but a nice presentation. The Tango Cake was lemony and dense and actually really good… I’d order that one again. The Tiramisu may have been the favorite. The sponge was about the perfect consistency and the rum to espresso ratios, right on. The bill was fair and the service was excellent for what was probably a light night. That said, even the manager(or who I thought was a manager) was jumping in expediting for tables and prep plating which always impresses me. All around a nice meal and a warm atmosphere with clean bathrooms. I think this place is a safe bet.
