I used to like this place, but it sure seems to be going downhill with service and food quality. The past couple times I’ve gone have not been as good. The restroom was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all that day. I won’t be back.

We went last night(Veterans Day 2015). They have a Wednesday pizza and wine dining option. So we went with the margherita pizza and sangria. Pizza was decent. But the sangria we received for $ 5 a glass was filled with ice and it looks as if one glass(not even a full glass) was divided into 2. So for $ 5 each we got a scant amount that was some bottled version of sangria. We were served less than half a wine glass of it… again, it was filled with fruit and ice so a couple of sips and it was gone. I was going to say something but decided against it bc it seemed gouache. But seriously $ 5 for about 1 ounce of bottled sangria seems steep. Or we were cheated. Either way, I’m not pleased with the experience. My husband who never complains even said later that it appeared the we’re rationing the wine. So boo Carrabas in hilliard.

My husband and 4 year old son and I went here on Saturday night at about 6pm. The wait was about 20 min which was okay. Seated immediately to my left was a big group of children age 10 – 13 yrs old or so, that were extremely loud and appeared to be unsupervised. It turned out their parents were seated several tables away from them, so the noise they made was probably not apparent to the parents, but was quite annoying to us and the other parties near us. We could hardly have a conversation. The kids also got up and moved around frequently. I wish the manager or wait staff would have asked the parents to quiet down their children.

So what has happened to this restaurant the last year?! I understand it is a chain restaurant but when you spend $ 50 plus tip on a dinner you expect at least a good meal. I have eaten at this location about three times and each time my dining experience has gotten worse and worse. We were promptly seated by the host and we sat down to check out the menu for new items. I have my usual chicken and pasta favorites. The bread was somewhat cold when it arrived. The restaurant was not too busy so the rest of our food arrived on time. The salads looked like they’ve been just thrown on the plate — we ordered two and one had twice the amount of lettuce the other plate had. There is nothing spectacular about brown iceberg swimming in Cesar dressing! Our meal finally arrived, the flavors were just not there. The pasta was cooked well and that’s about my only compliment. Sauces were watery, one meal the chicken was overcooked and the other was mushy? We were hungry so we ate our food and got the check. As I was walking towards the door I noticed a dirty bandaid just sitting on the ground. I mentioned it to the hostess who was cleaning tables earlier… she said oh yeah, that is bandaid! YES pick it up! We will probably not be back.

Americanized Italian food. This place is C+ on its best day. Think of an upscale, improved Oliva Garden. However the service is good, pricing is more than reasonable. Beer is cold… The location is close to the house, so we go once a month or so.

A friend took me here for the first time last week and I have already been back again, that’s how good I thought Carrabba’s was. When you are craving Italian but don’t want something to weigh you down with heaviness this really hits the spot. The Chicken Masala is downright delicious and the service was impressive. I’m a now a fan and will be back often.

Firstly, we visited a month ago with fiends fron out of town and had a horrible experience.. The next day I set an appointment with Kenny the manager. I explained the problem, he quicky apologized for the previous night, and gave us gift certificate for a complete redo. Fast forward to 5÷31÷15, I took my family again for a 2nd chance. Hanna was our server, very quick on checking on us. The food, wow, Kenny has made significant changes to kitchen staff and quality of product. So, if you can have Hanna serve you ask to sit in her area, if kenny is working, tell him the plumber sent you. Hes gonna make this place great again! And Hanna, she should train servers how to «WOW» the customer. . Over all great, exceptional night. . Thank you Kenny and The entire staff.

Went to Carrabbas Friday night. Not my first time. Was late, 1030 or so. Ordered chicken rosa. Server said his name was BS. He recommended the food. Awesome!!! Knew a lot about the ingredients and flavor. I usually order lasagna and he dared me to expand my palate. As long as you are open and BS isn’t off, I’ll be back. Thanks. AH

While waiting for our food, the table next to us was seated with a family of four. They waited 10+ minutes for a waiter, when he appeared the father complained of the wait, and the waiter walked away from the table. The floor manager refused to discuss it, and the father called corporate to complain. Their meal was free, I would have left, never screw with people that handle your food. Our service was was spotty, place was nearly empty and 15 minutes for refills. Soup was cold and tasted like dishwater. Replacement salad was okay. Steak was medium well, asked for rare/medium rare. Veggie was burnt and salty. Check came, we were not told that some veggies had an upcharge, I would have send over cooked meal back since the meal and veg were burnt or over cooked. $ 50+tip for a meal that I would have walked out had I known upfront of the poor overall quality. I now know why we don’t go to yet another place less than a mile from home.

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. Was Larry as I thought it would be another olive garden. I could not have been more wrong. The food is made on-site fresh, never frozen and the meats are grilled woodfired. I had the combination plate which consisted of sirloin marsala and chicken Bryan. Both selections were wonderful and bursting with flavor. I also had the soup of the day, lentil with sausage and it was also very good. My dude of garlic mashed potatoes were ok but nothing special. My wife had the brick baked ravioli parmesan which she said it was delicious. She also had the Sicilian chicken soup and she thought it was fabulous. Overall our experience was fantastic and we are already talking about what we will try on our next visit.

I can’t help but give this place 4 stars. I just can’t. I’ve been going here for about 6 years and it’s almost never let me down. The true bonus is that I’m not sure anyone knows about the location. I have gone in Friday, Saturday, Wednesday etc. and have never had to wait for a table. The wait staff is usually very happy and knowledgable. My lady enjoys the blackberry sangria, though it’s too red winey for me. I usually stick with a Peroni or Coke. The bread is fantastic. It’s very basic Italian bread with an olive oil and slice dip but it tastes like it’s fresh baked and I can’t stop stuffing it in my mouth. The varieties of salad that come with your meal are all good, but not at all a large size, but that’s okay, because you’re still eating bread. The portions of the entrees are decent, but mostly very delicious. Being that my other half doesn’t enjoy seafood, we’ve never had an app other than the fried mozzarella, which is exactly how it sounds. The Marsala sauce is fantastic and the chicken and steak are always moist and cooked to order. All in all its a great step above most other Italian chains with a menu that accommodates almost every taste. NOTE: I recently ate here and was quite hungry so the manager upgraded the size of my steak in my combo(I always get ‘the Johnny’) for a lot less than I’d thought it cost. Eat here, don’t wait for an hour to sit down at the Polaris location.

Overall a pretty good restraunt. Pretty pricey but a great Italian Cuisine place. I got the baked Ravioli. It was alright considering that it took quite a while. It really had an Italian flow to it.

Really Good Service. Food was good. one of the 4 dishes we had could have used more sauce. We eat here about once a month or so and everything is usually very consistent.

First off I would like To say the staff was amazing! Service was great. We didn’t feel rushed at all. The pizzas are really tasty and the raspberry panna cotta was to die for!!! Last night we forgot to grab my credit card after we left. Once we noticed this morning and freaked out for awhile We called and they had my Credit card! We were able to get it immediately as long as I went(my card) and I had my license. They were not going to just hand it out to anyone! I would definitely eat at this location the next time I’m in the area!

I had never been to Carrabba’s before, but my father got me a gift card for my birthday, so of course, I took my husband to give it a shot. I ordered the Chicken Bryan and Filet Marsala, along with a Caesar salad, green beans and mashed potatoes. The portions were much smaller than I anticipated(despite preferring a smaller portion, I just didn’t expect them to be THAT small). The beef was tasty, albeit a little fatty. The wine sauce was delicious and admittedly saved both cuts of meat. The chicken was average, and again, was salvaged by the sauce. As for the side dishes, I wasn’t impressed. Although the mashed potatoes were standard(hard to really screw up mashed potatoes, yes?), the green beans had zero flavor to them. Just plain green beans lazily plopped on a plate – nothing to them at all. The Caesar salad was bland. The lettuce was near-rotten, with brown edges hither and thither, and the cheese was scarce. Probably one of the worst Caesar salads I’ve ever had. I turned to the warm bread and olive oil, paired with herbs and spices they provided, instead of tackling the salad. Thank God for the bread and dip… On the plus side, we got seated right away and the waiter was cool as hell. Very down-to-earth, knew his stuff and was attentive. I suspect the place was slammed, so food was sloppily handed out, with quality control not being a priority. I would try Carrabba’s again if someone asked me to go, but I wouldn’t make it a first choice for myself. Just wasn’t impressed; thought it would be of much higher quality than it was.

We’ve been fans of this dinner-only Italian restaurant for years. Pasta Sostanza is a WONDERFUL vegan dish featuring succulant artichokes, chunky tomatoes and delicious mushrooms. My husband enjoyed the chicken parm sandwichserved with delicious home made chips. My son loves their kids ravolli because there isn’t too much«green stuff» inside(oragano) Everone goes nuts for the fresh bread served tableside with a pesto olive oil dipping sauce. I gave them 4 stars tonight because of the service. I expected an attentive, professional server but got much less that is acceptable.

The service is terrible, wait staff is slow and not polite. The food is disappointing and very poor quality for the price. Someone needs to take the salt shaker from the chef the salt was so intense it started to burn my mouth. The table they sat us at was right next to the door and they propped open the door for the better part of the night(9 degrees outside). Lets just say the coat never came off.

If you are going to hit up a chain Italian restaurant, this is the one to go to. The tag pic pack pasta is made in house and overall, everything is made in house and fresh. Good pizza, excellent steak, and I love the manicotti. I definitely recommend the minestrone or Sicilian chicken soup

This was my first trip to a Carrabba’s and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! The bread and the soup were a little unremarkable but I ordered the Johnny as my entrée and it was outstanding. It comes as a grilled chicken breast that’s finished off in a broiler with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes alongside a beef sirloin cooked to order covered in a mushroom wine sauce similar to a beef burgundy. The sear on the chicken and the temp of my steak were perfect and the green beans that came along with my entrée were vibrant and fresh. The service here was gracious although my two colleagues lingered after the meal and we never saw our server again. I did fell bad that we tied up the table for so long(I generally hate to do that to a server) but it would’ve been nice had she checked back in on us to say goodnight. All around this is a nice chain that has it’s act together from what I observed. I would definitley suggest Carrabba’s for a nice meal.

Carrabba’s has one great thing going for them– Pasta Weesie. I try to do the local places but my one Italian chain staple is Carrabba’s. I haven’t been doing as much Italian in the last few years since I have tried cutting out bad carbs but once in awhile this place hits the spot. I order the Pasta Weesie which is fettuccine Alfredo with large shrimp. My shrimp have been done perfectly here as they are juicy and succulent. The plate is almost always enough to take a small meal home. Service here is usually pretty good but the last time I was here, the waiter seemed distant and preoccupied. He didn’t stop in to refill and check on us as much as I am use to waiters doing. Carrabba’s is a little more expensive than Olive Garden but I think the food is also better. This place use to have lines on weekends but now you can almost walk straight in. It is a nice place to family to especially when this family likes what they know and not what they don’t know. My in laws love this place so it worked out for all of us. I believe this is a safe place to go for good food, decent service, and a prices that push the wallet a little.
