Boyd’s Hilliard Goodyear Tire & Service

Took my fiancée’s car here for an alignment. They did the work with a smile and didn’t try to push any extras like other shops (wiper blades, the magical $ 1000 brake part that broke etc.). Front desk staff was very nice. They even greased a ball joint for us that I installed free of charge. Will definitely be using them for future automotive repairs.

Boyd’s Goodyear did a great job fixing my husband’s truck breaks. They were quick and keep work to the price they quoted. The worker called us immediately upon fixing the truck and were nice and quick at the register. We will go back!

I would not go anywhere else! The service here is honest and superior. Their hours are nice because they try to be open for everyone. The often offer deals in the paper or in the val-​u-​paks and they are usually pretty decent. I recommend this place more than I recommend any restaurant or business. It is outstanding. Be sure to call ahead, but they can usually wiggle you in

I have been using this Goodyear location since I moved to Columbus. They’re quick, efficient, fair, reasonably priced, and always have coupons. Even if I don’t have a coupon, they give me a discount, but that might be because I’m a regular. They are able to schedule you in on short notice. The staff doesn’t seem to go through a lot of changes. The facilities are clean. The couches in the lounge area are a bit uncomfortable, but it’s not like you’re sleeping on them. There are plenty of reading material options to keep you occupied while you wait. If you don’t like to read, there’s a TV that you can control. If you don’t like to wait inside, there’s a nice bench outside that allows for shade or sun. Also nearby is a pizza place so you can grab a bite to eat or a cool drink while you wait (there’s a vending machine in Goodyear as well).
The best thing about Goodyear is that I can trust them. Though this particular place is independently owned, it’s tied to the main chain, a chain that has an outstanding reputation. And, in my experience, this branch never tries to sell you something you don’t need. I went in to have my tires and brakes changes one time, and they told me both could wait a little longer and not to waste my money. You can tell their focus is on helping the customer, not on making the sale. I love these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

It’s really hard to drop your car off and expect someone to give the honest low down on what needs to be done. You can never be completely confident that you’re being told the truth, ‘You’re going to need to have that johnson rod replaced’ ‘Oh yeah, the johnson rod’…
But as much as you can trust an auto repair shop, I trust Boyd’s. They’ve replaced my muffler, radiator, done tune ups…
They have quick friendly service and I would recommend them, in fact, I am.
