Wag N’ Wash Healthy Pet Center

I wanted to give a shout-​out to Wag n Wash. At first, I thought the concept was ridiculous, unless you have a ginormous dog and my dog is 14 lbs. We wash him in the sink, but I went to one store in Colorado Springs out of curiosity and found that they have a lot of really cool stuff for your dog that is high quality AND they have EXCELLENT customer service. OMG! I have never been treated so well and been given such a high level of service in a long, long time. Today I went to the Highlands Ranch store because they have the brand of dog food we like, again, great service, so it must be a company thing. Definitely impressed. Keep up the good work with the customer service. It definitely makes a difference.

Whenever our German Shepherd needs grooming this is where we take her. Very happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood. The staff is attentive and the groomers do a great job. Excellent selection of food, toys and gear too. Everything we need is always in stock. No reason to go to big box stores with places like this around. Good rewards program also.

The employees are very friendly here. They help you every step of the way and make it easy for you. They are right behind you cleaning up the stalls. Honestly, my dog came out of there just as clean and just as fresh as when the groomers do it for half the price. THey make it soooo easy, pay the extra $ 4 and get the ultimate wash. That system is great! It took me less then an hour to do both my large dogs (and I had two kids with me). I was covered in dog hair and so was my car. I will send my husband next time.

I have been going in there for many years, and they take expert care of my two beloved, and expensive dogs. Candice is who I always work with. She is conscientious, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Whether I need information of trying a new dog food, or a lead for running my dogs, she is allways spot on. You will feel like home here.

My rescue pup and I love venturing to Wag N’ Wash. The staff is always courteous, and does an excellent job with trimming her nails. Typically, my pup is terrified of people she doesn’t know, but the staff members who do the nail trims are always cautious and treat her just right. I love it!
The self-​serve bath area is simply wonderful, I highly recommend it. Anything you need, whenever you need, the staff is more than happy to accommodate. My dog is afraid of the blow dryers, so I’m always granted an extra couple of towels to get the job done right. Afterward, there is a multitude of treats and delicious bones to take home with us! I tell everyone I know to buy the frozen raw bones from Wag N’ Wash… best value in town, and my pup just inhales them!
My only complaint would be about the prices in the self-​serve wash area. I had been giving my dog the Fur-​Buster wash for months and months, which was the Premium wash with the de-​shedding shampoo. Out of nowhere, they tell me that I have never received a premium wash with that type of shampoo, and that I must be mistaken. After nearly two years? Okay. But it hasn’t stopped me from going, because it was one small situation and everything else about it is just so wonderful!

I’m here all the time. Great selection for food and toys for my dog and cats. Groomers are great and quick. Very happy here. The staff really knows what they are talking about and really seem to care. Will absolutely continue shipping here.

You couldn’t ask for more! This place has it all. The owner creates a neighborly feel in the community and her staff is extremely helpful, Always! They get to know you and your dogs, this place is amazing.
We don’t groom our dogs often but when we do, very easy setup and friendly service. They seem to always be seeking out ways to improve! Both of our dogs are rescues and our Bernese Mtn Dog (Diamond) has serious anxiety issues. They take the extra time with her that she needs, even if it’s only cutting her nails. I appreciate that they tailor their service to the individual needs of the dog and owner.
As for food… WOW! Incredible selection of high quality pet foods, even fresh food! No joke, you need to come in to see it. Their rewards program for food purchases is the best I’ve seen.
This location (lead by the Owner) is heavily involved in the community and many other animal related activities. She got us involved with dog carting which our Newfoundland (Spartacus) absolutely loves. It’s given him a purpose as a working breed and as a direct result changed his behavior (calm and obedient). He often pulls his cart on a walk to the store to buy his food and then pulls it home.
You couldn’t ask for more in a local (neighborly feel) pet center. Will be coming here for years to come.

Very poor grooming effort at the highest grooming rate around @ $ 50.00 + tip. Not only did they NOT following any of my directions on my dog grooming, but my poor dogs’ hair was nearly shaved to the skin almost all over, yet in other RAMDOM places it was left more than a inch longer and is just hideously uneven!!! From the look of the effort (or more accurately the lack thereof), I would guess they took about 5 minutes to shave her down without even trying to GROOM her or even her up a little bit. The few times I have had my dog groomed at Wag & Wash have been by far the worst grooming I have ever seen done to an animal and unfortunately this is now a consistent outcome from this location! I have had my dog groomed here 3 times with Aryan and it has been a worse outcome each time with the latest the last straw! I tried to give the business the benefit of the doubt and hoped she (Aryan) was just having an off day, but now after 3 grooming trips I know now she just is a bad dog groomer and I will never take my dog back again!!!

Terrible grooming experience for our small Shih Tzu. Very uneven cut and sloppy work. Groomer did not follow instructions we left with manager. manager was very curt and snarky. Groomer was an hour late and management blamed us for being one hour early. No customer service skills or acumen. Manager even felt the need to leave us a very confrontational voice mail telling us that the appointment misunderstanding was our fault. WAW very expensive for grooming and then they bully you for a tip. Then the entire time, the manager complained about our dog barking. We tried to explain that she’s being trained but she continued to be rude and uncaring. Chloe, our Shih Tzu even appeared traumatized by the experienceAs she’s being crying ever since we brought her home. Needless to say, we will never return.

I love this place. My dog doesn’t need a lot of grooming, but we get her nails clipped here every month. When I’ve had by Shiba Inu groomed by other people, she’s been a wiggly, screaming pain in the butt. For some reason, she LOVES the staff members here and doesn’t even want to leave once we’re done. I have to stand in front of her to keep her from licking their faces.

The best dog self wash in town. Customer service was excellent! The owner lectured me on grooming my labradoodle. I appreciated her passion for pets! She set me up with the soonest appointment available and even talked to me about coming in later in the week to get my dog vaccinated. Over all great experience and will only come to this place for my dog grooming needs, treats, food, and all other dog needs!

I love this place! Every staff member is super helpful and knowledgable. Last time we were in they noticed my dogs nails were crumbling and recommended we switch to a grain free food to see if she was having allergies. My dog gets really nervous and they are super sweet to her and always help me lift her into the wash bin. They carry the dog food out to the car for me too, which is just plain nice. They have quality products and cute accessories. I love spending way too much money here!
–Last time I forgot my wallet there, and they called my house before I even noticed I had forgotten it.

How nice to be able to clean my doggies myself, without getting a hairy mess in my own bathroom, or hurting my knees by being on a hard floor! They supply everything you need, a nice variety of soaps, plus brushes, towels, etc. The folks who work there are very sweet & helpful. Really a nice sevice!

While I like the folks at Wag N Wash I stuggle with the quality of grooming. On one occasion the groomer did an excellent job. However, with a different groomer the quality was very poor — hair left longer on one side and not the other, nails not trimmed, ragged /​uneven cut and some spots left completely ungroomed. I had to finish the job at home myself. While I realize that the groomer was rushed at the end of the day, my pet was there for 4 hours. There is no excuse when grooming isn’t started until 5 minutes before close and it takes less than 20 minutes to «finish» the grooming.

Love this place. We heard about them at the Highlands Ranch parade last year when we got a doggie toy thrown to the crowd.
We recently adopted a rescue dog and she is just too big to bath at home, so we carted both of our dogs to Wag N Wash. They have very good tubs with room to move around and clean and that are easy to get the dogs in and out of. The dryers are also powerful enough to really blow water out of the fur. So, based on that I’d say this place is good, but
We then started talking with Katherine who told us everything she knows about Berners (our new dog) and gave us tons of advice. She also talked with us about dog food and showed us many options including a great quality dog food that is only about 5% more than what we used and will last a lot longer. (Research online and you’ll be surprised by what is in some dog food).
Two weeks ago we had our new Berner groomed at Wag N Wash. Susan did a terrific job and was great. My wife ended up being allergic to something that was used on her (we’ve had this problem at every bath place we’ve been too, thus we use oatmeal shampoo now). I called Wag N Wash and that made room to bring our dog in on the same day and re-​washed with Oatmeal shampo and dried her for us.
The whole staff at Wag N Wash are great including all the doggies that hang out there. This is really a top quality business, and I won’t take my dogs anywhere else.

We found our dog, Roxy, almost two years ago. After posting over 30 «Found Dog» signs, calling all the shelters and veterinarian offices and discovering that she hadn’t been chipped, it looked like we had ourselves a dog.
Since I’ve never owned a dog, I decided to take her to Wag N’ Wash to get some advice. Katherine, the owner, was there and she was SO helpful! She even walked me through washing Roxy and gave me a sample of food. Her customer service was so welcoming and genuine that I’d never dream of going anywhere else! Jasmine is also amazing! Roxy is a miniature long-​haired dachshund and Jasmine does a great job with her. If I can’t wash Roxy myself, I take her when Jasmine is working… Roxy has separation anxiety (the vet thinks she was abused, which is why she probably ran away) and Jasmine takes good care of her.
The moment Roxy and I walk in, we’re greeted by name. The washes are very reasonable (for the do-​it-​yourselfer) and the grooming is also reasonable. If you stop in, get a bag of their homemade treats… you dog will thank you!

When this place first moved in, I didn’t have any dogs so I didn’t really understand the value of it. Now that I have 2 goldens, we all LOVE this place. It really makes washing our dogs pretty easy compared with us trying to do it at home. They provide all of the products, water, tools, towel, drying options, etc. and you get to do the rest. It’s good bonding time wiht your dog!
In addition to providing a fun place to get your dog clean, the selection of toys is extensive and we would go in and get several different ones regularly. Our dogs loved us for it. They have a great selection of different types of food and homemade ones too (our dogs love their meatloaf and snack bisquites). They also have a rewards program where they keep track of what you spend for you and send you a $ 10 off copuon once you reach a certain amount (sorry i don’t remember how much it is, but go in and check it out yourself!
Finally. the owner offered dog training classes which have been excellent for our puppies. They are both over a year now, but could use some refreshers, so we’ll be signing them up again soon!
Definitely recommend this place for an all around fun place for your dog. Our dogs love going there, especially if it’s for picking out their next new toy! :)

Unlike another do-​it-​yourself dog wash facility located in the area, this place is a bright, roomy place to take my dog for his bath. Always plenty of staff around if you need an extra hand, too. Pricing very good! Owner always remembers my dog. Highly recommend.
