Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard

So sad to say Good Times isn’t anymore! I’ve bragged to California friends for years that it killed In N Out on taste and hoped so hard that they would open a Good Times in Highlands Ranch. I got a fifty dollar gift card from someone who knew how excited I was. After my second trip I was shocked at how little I wanted to go back. The meat has changed, tastes mealy now and I’ve given it many tries. My last double good times with cheese was my last double good times!

Good times? More like ain’t no body got time for that. Not opened on a sat night at 9:30 pm… What’s up Witt that. I was visiting town and very excited. Good thing there were other options open

You could go to a sit-​down restaurant, get served, pay, and leave faster than the drive-​thru at lunch here. I stuck with it just to see and spent 34 minutes to get one meal.

I’ve been here 3 times now & it’s okay for fast food.
I ordered the double cheese for my boyfriend & it was good except they put way too much lettuce. I ordered the battered onion rings and they were perfect! Also, I tried the boneless hot wings which were not very good compared to wing stop across the street. Lastly, I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage & thought it was delicious and a good value.
I will go back and thought it was pretty good & the service was great. I have only used the drive thru & haven’t had any issues with the wait time or service.

I’ll reiterate other comments about the lack of good service at this location. We’ve been to this location three times (yes I love Good Times) but this store is horribly run and not once has our order been accurate nor the service been that overly friendly. It’s unfortunate that this store will be a black eye for an otherwise nice Colorado fast food establishment. I’ve called the store once to voice my concerns and never received a call back. I’d recommend other locations for sure but not this one.

I don’t know where to begin for this review. Well, yes I do, I gave it two stars.

Dining Room is clean. Nobody was in it at 430pm on a Friday.

Terrible, terrible food.
I ordered a Double Deluxe Burger Combo. When it arrived, I couldn’t wait to chow down. After the first bite, I knew I was in trouble. It was loaded just like McDonald’s. I.e. yellow mustard, Mayonnaise, pickles and onions. The bun was chewy. The preformed meat patty was tasteless. It was a slimy burger to eat. The meat was sliding around like an out of control car on ice. It was hard to control. Regardless of my complaints, I finished this grotesque concoction because I was super hungry. OK, now the fries. They had a nice texture, but were saturated in cooking oil. I couldn’t eat many of the fries because they were overcooked and as thin as the width of a paperclip. My son ordered a kids meal combo. I think the Horizon Chocolate Milk was the best part of his meal.
Custard–
Not what I expected. I ordered a cup of plain Vanilla for myself. They don’t sell chocolate custard. Vanilla custard is used as the base for everything. I ordered my son Chocolate Cookie Dough «ice cream» so I thought. The menu was slightly confusing and the cashier’s explanation didn’t make it any clear. So, when the chocolate cookie dough arrived I was taken by surprise. It was a bowl of vanilla custard blended with chocolate syrup with cookie dough bits mixed in. My son, didn’t like it to say the least.

Pretty standard for a fast food restaurant, but have always liked Good Times. This one has a nice inside area to eat if you are with your family, etc. I like their food and was excited to see them come to this location in Highlands Ranch.

This location has only been opened a few months. I have used the drive thru twice only to experience long wait times and mediocre food and service. Last night, my son my wife and myself went to eat in the lobby only to experience the same service as the drive thru, actually when we arrived and were looking at the menu the girl that was taking orders starred at us the entire time and NEVER asked to take our order or greeted us. I approached the counter only to have the same blank look from the girl still no greeting from her.
We got our food, both my wife and I had chicken sandwiches and it was was just a few tenders thrown in a bun. Since it was not one piece of meat the meat kept falling out of the bun and the fries were cold to boot.
The floors and the rolling trash can that was behind the counter were nasty dirty as well as the rag the non communicative order taker was using to wipe the counters and the tables-​Yuck.
I hope someone from a corporate office can go in to this new location and turn things around before its too late.

I went to the drive thru after 9:00pm, had two problems: 1) I waited nearly 15mins at the drive thru window with one car ahead of me, had to shut the car off. When I finally got to the window they said the burgers were made fresh and that’s why it took so long. If you are looking for «fast» food, recommend going somewhere else. 2) i ordered two burgers and a couple of shakes, after i got home i discovered one of the burgers had no meat patty on it! The lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup were all there but no burger, wow! It was late and too much of a hassle to go back that night, so the next day i asked them to replace the entire order to make up for the inconvenience, to which they declined. Go at your own risk.

I went through the drive thru for quick bite. Fresh quick polite and dazbog coffee in a fast food place! I like no wait and given how new this is wait times are a plus! Looks like they trained well because my food and order were flawless. I ordered sausage breakfast burrito and coffee to go. Well done and quick I’ll come back for sure!
