They upgraded the look of the buffet at San Manuel l would guess about a year ago. Well me an the wife have been disappointed ever since. They took away the food stations in the middle an put it against the wall. Horrible decesion, now after you have ate a plate you have to take a long walk to get to the desserts, it’s like their walking you out the door lol, same if you want a salad it’s all the way on the other side. Even worse the mexican food is pretty much gone. I just recently returned an there were 3 things that were kinda mexican looking lol, some crazy dark beans ehhh, dry rice an some mini tamales. I couldn’t bring myself to try any of it. It’s seems like ever since the manager left to Morongo everything has went downhill atleast in my opinion. We used to visit the Serrano Buffet often we rarely go now, just not worth it, it got worse with the changes.

I used to really enjoy this Buffet. Maybe because we used to get it for free. We went this past Saturday night(Memorial weekend), and paid $ 29.95 per person… so not worth it. The food was okay, nothing particularly delicious. For $ 29.95, the only thing they offered special was Crab legs. The cold crab legs were okay… the hot crab legs were way too salty. Their salad bar was so so… but the dessert section was lacking. They have homemade ice cream, a chocolate fountain and desserts locked up behind the counter, but nothing you imagine a buffet dessert section would be. My conclusion, it’s a great buffet if they send you a Free voucher. Otherwise, really not worth the price they charge. I would pay $ 14.99, but NOT $ 29.99. I’ve eaten much better food at other casinos, and the cost was much less.

Went there Saturday night to play Bingo, no luck as usual, then decided to go eat @ the Buffet, we were very disappointed in what they had to offer, not to much in selection, I thought I would have some fried chicken, couldn’t believe that it looked terrible like it was burnt or the grease was dirty or old. So nothing really looked appetizing, then decided to go try some desert, very slim choices found a few things but all in all for the price they charge forget it. Two thumbs down.

I come here about once a week, but today we had a run in what appears to be some undercooked chicken. The blood was still runny. I’m not sure if the temperature was taken, but I feel like it could scare off other people dining at what I would otherwise describe as an adequate buffet.

This has to be the worst buffet that I have ever had. I came here on a Saturday night during Memorial Day weekend and this place was empty. Gaming area was packed. Not even flies were in there. The dinner price was 29 bucks that I got for free. Thank God that I got it for free because that would have really pissed me off if I had to pay that much for crap food. I had the prime rib which was over cooked and tasteless. It was like eating rubber. I also had crab legs which were awful. They had no meat and it also had a very fishy taste. I also had the Orange chicken which was cold and had no flavor. I didn’t dare try anything else. The pizza looked like it was frozen and reheated and the sushi haha omg looked awful. I will never ever ever be back! Save your time guys and gals and pass on the buffet.

I do enjoy this casino.. But the buffet? No. It’s not good. San Bernardino seems to have lower taste in quality because this is a pretty sad buffet. I gave it a second shot for seafood night and bleh. I asked one of the line monitors they had what she liked about seafood night and she did she doesn’t eat seafood. Ugh! If you’re representing then humor me! Loose slots tho.. Just bad buffet.

I have had much better buffet for far less price. They will make fresh seafood medley but no pasta to eat it with. ??? Awful place for a buffet.

Hubby and I went on a Sunday during lunchtime. This is the first time I have been here since they renovated it. There were several main sections — Italian, Mexican, American, Asian, Salad Bar and Desserts. I didn’t try anything from the Italian side although I saw they had several kinds of pizza and pastas. I tried the Mexican Rice and Chile Verde from the Mexican section. Rice was a tad salty, but Chile Verde was good. I do recommend that they trim the pork more. I got a few pieces that were straight up fat which I discarded. We arrived in time and were able to order omelettes. I got one with spinach, bacon, onions and cheese. I wasn’t sure if they had egg whites only available. I did search all the stations but could not find sour cream nor could I find salsa. Our server happily went in search for some and brought it for us. I tried a piece of the roast beef — middle part was dry, but the outer part was tender and flavorful. I tried the Teriyaki Beef from the Asian station. It wasn’t overly sweet — I thought maybe it was mislabeled since it was more of a stir fry, thin slices of beef with a little sauce and veggies(young corn, water chestnuts etc.). I liked that and the fried pork dumplings. Their dessert bar was alright. They had chocolate fountains with apples, rice krispy treats and marshmallows to dip. I personally would prefer some strawberries or bananas, but that is just my preference. I tried the bread pudding which I liked. Again, another missing component — no sauce for the pudding. I ended up using Caramel Sauce. I tried the pistachio and salted caramel ice cream. No pistachios bits in the ice cream — not sure what that was all about. Would I come back? Maybe if I had a buy one get one free coupon. We paid $ 22.95 per person.

Worr buffet ever. Seems like they’re more about quantity than quality. We paid $ 30 per person tonight(Saturday). We got tasteless, overcooked food. Crab legs had no meat, seriously some were empty with no crab meat in them. Definitely don’t recommend this place. Save your money!

I’ve been patronizing Serrano for a long time now. Since our first visit here, we’ve seen several changes in the facility proper and Management Staff. As a rule, one can safely say people don’t come to Serrano just for the food. So when hungry an «All you can eat buffet» can come in handy. The current Chef is doing a gr8 job with his allowed budget. You will find that Serrano offers something for everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Try ‘em.

Not a lot of selections but it’ll do if you’re hungry. But who has the time to eat when you’re having fun giving away your chips?

My first visit to the Serrano buffet was great. I did see that it was recently remodeled so I cannot compare it to what it was before. An excellent variety of food to choose from. I had the prime rib which was delicious. The ice cream was awesome and it is made there so there are different flavor a to try that you will not find in a grocery store. I was there during dinner time and Hector was an excellent waiter. He was attentive and just a pleasure to be around.

One of my favorite places to eat at when I’m feeling lucky at the tables(poker and dining). Serrano buffet is on point with the foods, coming from an expert foodie I should know. My advice is to start with the desserts and work your way down to the main meal. If you do it that way you won’t feel so guilty eating those pies, ice cream cones and cakes. Once you get to the crab legs kinda relax with some drinks THEN hit the main meal. Oh gotta go they just called my name as winner of today’s jackpot. #BonAppétit #SerranoBuffet #SanManuelCasino

Worst casino buffet I’ve ever eaten. Not worth $ 15. Choice of food was limited. And everything I ate was dry and overcooked, especially the roast beef, chicken and fish. Pizza appeared to have been straight out the box from Stater Brothers. The only positive was all the servers were pleasant.

My boyfriend and i ate here for the first time on our first night of our trip to socal and hated it. they closed at 12 and we got there around 10:15pm and saw how long the line was. didn’t get seated until about 11. took awhile for our drinks to come and it was just serria mist or 7up. fell in line for the food… after our bay to la drive we were starving. got some of the chinese food, it was dry and salty. the fell in line for the meats… got the prime rib which was cooked at a medium which i didnt mind but it was SALTY as if i put a tablespoon of salt on my spoon and ate it. I was disappointed but just that. the food was bland. they kept putting new cooked food even past 1130 but shit still tasted like shit. lobster was alright, overed cooked. the only reason my im giving it 2 stars instead of 1 was for the dessert. i actually ate more dessert than dinner cause i was so disappointed. Only win was $ 70 off a penny slot. i’d go back to gamble but even that it was hard to get a seat somewhere. people kept hovering behind me waiting for my to get off

BETWEENTHEREVIEWS w/Rodney S Q) During your travels to the various Indian casinos, have you ever dined at the buffets, Rodney? A) Yes, Rodney, I have. I used a BOGO buffet coupon for the Serrano Buffet at San Manuel. The lunch buffet price is $ 14.99. Classic Club Serrano members receive $ 3 off, with upper tiers getting even more savings. Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to combine the BOGO coupon with the $ 3 off. Q) What kind of food offerings does the Serrano Buffet have? A) The buffet has 5 designated areas — Asian, American, Italian, Salad bar & Dessert Asian — various noodle dishes, orange chicken, two types of sushi rolls & rice dishes compose most of the Asian area. A Mongolian BBQ has a cook quickly grill up your choice of meat and all the fixings that come with it. American — the main attraction at the American section were the carved meat. Pork ribs, turkey, sausage and my favorite, brisket, were sliced in front of diners. I made sure to cover my vegetable quotient by having servings of sautéed squash & grape tomatoes. Included in the American area were various Latin-American dishes, like pastor. Italian — Besides a pasta station, favorite Italian dishes represented were pizza, calzone & lasagna I restrained myself to only having a few pieces of focaccia bread & calzone, and I felt proud because I could’ve gone crazy on those two items alone. The calzone was stuffed with pepperoni and both were cheesy delights. Salad Bar — I only went here to stock up on mussels & clams. Using my trusty fork to pry out the delicious meat, I blitzkrieged the shellfish, getting my money’s worth of these pleasures of the sea by themselves Dessert Bar — Everyone can find something for them at the Serrano Buffet Dessert Bar. The first thing my eyes spied? Chocolate fondue fountains! Have your pick of marshmallows, brownie bites, green apple slices or Oreo cookies. The flowing chocolate quickly hardened by the time I got to my table. Each piece delightfully delicious. Housemade ice cream on hand for those looking for some frozen delights. With so many to choose, I went with salted caramel. The salted caramel was creamy, full of caramel flavor. I could only have 1 serving, as I was nearing capacity in my stomach. Baked goods available were tapas-sized cakes, like carrot cake, tarts, pudding, brownies, cannoli etc. I had a taste of the things that interested me, and everything definitely satisfied the sweet tooth. Q) Were drinks included, Rodney? A) Yes, Rodney, but only fountain drinks, coffee, milk, tea. Beer & wine are served, I believe, during dinner only. Q) Are there seafood nights? A) I remember seeing seafood being served during the weekends. Of course, with seafood, the price goes up for the premium items. Q) Rodney, would your recommend Serrano Buffet? A) Factoring in the BOGO coupon, I really enjoyed the Serrano Buffet & found it to be a great value. Even w/o the coupon, having $ 3 off the $ 14.99 regular price still makes for a tremendous value. I mainly stuck to the meat, some veggies and the well-equipped dessert bar, so can’t attest to the quality of all the items being served. But, all in all, I was stuffed & happy for a meal that didn’t cost very much. Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

Newly remodeled! Better food! Outstanding service! The food quality got better and they have more choices now! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. They have 3 main ethnic food to choose from: American, Asian and Italian. American includes veggies, fish, carving station, potatoes, more meat, etc. Asian includes Chinese food variety, sushi, Kimchi, dim sum, etc. Italian includes pizzas, pasta, fish, veggies, etc. Ohhhh they also have salad area and dessert area!!! Sorry I can’t really name all of them you just have to try it! I highly recommend this buffet. Good quality for the price! Ps. Their cappuccino is so delish!

Newly renovated restaurant with new items at the buffet line. I went on a Friday night where they serve seafood galore. Lobster tail, crab legs, fried seafood items like scallops, calamari etc… etc. There is a station where they cook shrimp scampi. It may take awhile, but it’s worth the wait.

Was in Ontario, CA for 3 days for work and on my last night, me and my colleague decided to try our luck at the casino. While we were here, we wanted to try the buffet they offered. I left my colleague briefly to ask how much the buffet cost for each person. On that Thursday night I was there, it was only $ 11.95! Not bad at all~ When I returned to let my colleague know, he had already won $ 60 from playing slots. And what made me even happier was when he offered to pay for my dinner too! Sweet!!! So off to grab a table we went. The ladies at the host stand were super friendly. The second lady walked ahead of us to guide us to where we will be seated. Shortly after, our server grabbed our drink order and we were off to roam the line of food. The first thing I noticed was the dessert stand. I had to walk away quick before I start off with desserts instead of an actual meal! But I’d be back for sure… The food offered here are a bit of a mix. There was an Asian(mostly Chinese) food section with some selections like orange chicken, fried rice, chow mein. Then there was the section with pastas, pizzas, and calzones. Then came my favorite section. meat! There was prime rib, tritip, and for those who want leaner meat, they had chicken wings and drumsticks too. For buffet food, it was not bad at all. The quality of some food lacked more than others but overall the price was just right for the meal. Service was amazeballs… Our server never stopped to take care of us, and it wasn’t too annoying either! She had a warm smile every time she approached us. When I grabbed my plate of desserts, she offered me a cappuccino to pair with the dessert and I thought that was a fine idea. If I’m ever back in the area again, I’ll definitely have dinner here again.

Thank god my BFF recommended me this place with her constant raving before I read their Unilocal reviews, because oh my. There’s some pretty bad ones previously! I personally had a good experience! Went with a group of friends and family. Tip: Go with someone with a players card to get a 10% discount! Each day is a different theme! The most worth day is Wednesdays ayce at $ 20/person(with players card discount) for SEAFOOD. Fresh oysters, although they need to be cracked more carefully cause on occasion, there’s some cracked shells in the oysters. Otherwise, fresh good and slimy! No tummy ache after! Frozen and boiled crab legs. I personally like boiled because you can taste the crab flavor much more! All of them are sliced in half for easy access and easy eating! Boiled lobster tail! One per person per lining up! Either regular or spicy! With the choice of being dipping in butter or not! On the day I came the lobster tails were boiled a bit too much and were too cooked and too hard. But still good and money’s worth! Prime rib was medium well instead of medium rare. Nothing special! I drenched it with mashed potatoes and brown gravy to make it better! I didn’t eat anything else. There wasn’t much other variety once I got bored of the seafood I love how you can order the cappuccinos to go so they put it in the takeout cups for you to take out! Topped with a generous amount of whipped cream and brown chocolate powder and perfect hotness! Chocolate fountain! Every girls yummy dream! With cut up Rice Krispies, sliced apples, marshmallows, and Oreos as a choice for dipping Pros: –good friendly service! –even during dinner prime time, wait doesn’t exceed 30 mins –yummy take out cappuccinos –AYCE Wednesdays for seafood! –first time eating live oysters here and no one got food poisoning! HAHAHA –yummy rich chocolate milk –hot teas are served in interesting circular cups –boiled crab legs! Yummy :) –lobster tail will easily make your money’s worth! Cons: –occasional cracked shells or dirt in the live oysters? –more variety for other food. But granted it’s seafood night –kind of a large drive out to near riverside –big gamblers. beware…don’t gamble! Just eat!!! It’s their advertising trip to get you to gamble to lose money! They trick you with this tempting buffet! –kind of a ghetto crowd
