Food is amazing. Absolutely amazing. The only issue I have with this place is… they never ever answer their phone. I like to place take out orders, and they never answer their phone. I would give them more of my business if I could just get someone to pick up the phone.

Great place, sad service. So we’ve been here twice. Once with the kids and once without. First off, we totally love the space. It’s got an awesome atmosphere, lots of space, and a really cool fire pizza oven! The menu is OK. The food is really good, too. But holy crap everything we ordered came out wrong or took like 47 minutes. Something as simple as «dressing on the side,» seemed like such a difficult task for them to accomplish. On other dishes, we also had problems with stuff like no cheese, extra chicken, and other options. Both times we ate here, I ordered dessert pizzas that took more than a half an hour to get out. Because they donate meals, for every meal you purchase, will definitely be going back. I just hope that we have a better experience! We love this place, and would love for it to become one of our go-to joints.

We had a gift card so we decided to give this place a whirl. The atmosphere is decent, and the restaurant itself is clean and quiet. We got a couple of kids cheese pizzas and they were nothing special, a thin crust with a little cheese. Our kids ate it and didn’t seem to complain much. My wife and I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and were sorely disappointed. On our entire pizza I counted a total of 4 very small pieces of chicken. There were several pieces that had absolutely no chicken on them. They put a ton of fake bacon on it so any buffalo taste was drowned in bacon flavor and ranch. I LOVE bacon but when I order a buffalo chicken pizza I would expect that… anyway, the breadsticks were amazing and if we ever come back it will be for just an order of those. The dessert pizza was meh. I doubt I’ll come back.

So my friend told me about this place and was a bit skeptical about it. He even showed me pictures of his pizza that he’s been eating from this place and it didn’t look like your typical pizza you would get from Pizza Hut or something. After a while of talking to my friend he decided to bring one over to have for dinner. He got the Thai peanut chicken pizza. My first reaction to this was… where is the chicken? The pizza was covered in vegetable. I thought I was eating a salad pizza — if those existed. I thought it was gonna be horrible. Boy! Was I wrong. That was a very tasty pizza. Because it was so light and not heavily oiled and cheesed like your typical pizza I ate half of it until I was full. The crust was crunchy and thin. It was so good that I am considering driving all the way there to dine in, or have my friend but another one for take out. This is a new experience for pizza, esp how I am not really much of a pizza fan.

I know this place strives to serve healthier pizza from multiple slogans on the walls but not until I received my ordered Thai Peanut Chicken Pizza when I know they are serious. The pizza is totally buried with green leafy fresh vegetables! I mean, it’s like Amazonian jungle right there. I don’t care what people say but this should cancels out whatever calories I’m gonna consume. The crust is thin, almost crispy and slightly charred at the edges, which a lady at the side table complained as burned. I don’t have problem with that, in fact I think it gives fresh from the oven taste. The generous serving of peanuts makes crunchy bites, which I like a lot. Overall, very delicious! I just wish they have a smaller sized pizza so I don’t have to pack leftovers every time because those leafy vegetables do not do well after microwave reheat. The place has a lot of empty seats when I come at noon, but busier at dinner time. That is when people tend to come with family so it can be noisy with screaming kids. It takes about 20 minutes to get my order usually, which I think is reasonable. The interior is clean and decorated to give the african safari vibe with animal skulls hanging on the wall, which I confirmed is not Cecil the Lion. I will totally come here again, and who knows maybe after 5 – 6 more times I’ll grow tired of the Thai Peanut Chicken Pizza and resort to order a different entrée on the menu.

We’ve been here quite a few times and mainly go bc it’s close to home. Their concept of charity work is great but I can’t say I’m head over heels about their food. It doesn’t seem to ever be super busy which is nice if you need a quite bite to eat and don’t feel like cooking. Try the pesto pepperoni pizza.

I love the salads here, actually. The pizzas are good, but I build my own, so I can’t speak for the menu.

I don’t think I’ve ever had the pizza here, but I’ve really enjoyed the pasta over my last couple of visits. I’ve had the thai peanut pasta and then a buffalo mac and cheese. Both were great. You get a lot of pasta, and it tastes great. They’ve got Coke products, and Apple beer as well. I’ve heard good food about the pizza, but haven’t tried it.

A very clean restaurant with helpful employees and great food! We had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was really flavorful and good. We also got the breadsticks which might have been my favorite part of the whole meal. I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Their dessert pizza is delicious! I also like their thin crust, sometimes not very often it is a little crunchy, but usually very good

I’ve been here twice now, the pepperoni and the chicken bacon ranch pizzas were pretty stellar on taste, but the texture was lacking a little bit. The only thing I need to bitch about though is the crust. I am a crust person. I love pizzas with a good crust, the crust was super thin and crunchy. But all in all a good pizza joint, I like the oven they cook it in, make for a good taste.

I’ve only been here once but that one time I was here was amazing! They’ve got great pizzas that come in different sizes and the lady that served us was super nice! I love the family friendly & African atmosphere to this place! Great food, great people all doing this for a great cause! Overall, I had a great time! Thank you! I hope to become a regular here! :)

The first thing I noticed when walking into this place was how empty it was for dinner time. A few more families walked in a couple minutes after us. The number of employees standing behind the counter seems like overkill for the number of customers since a lot of them are just standing around. There was one cashier for a line of about 5 people with several staff members just chatting. We ordered the Tuscan pepperoni pizza and beef tenderloin salad with a side of breadsticks. Everything came to us fresh within 10 minutes of ordering. It probably helped that we were one of the few people in the restaurant. The pizzas are all thin crust. A little grease drips off the slices as you eat but there was plenty of flavor. The crust, arguably the most important part of any pizza, was both fluffy and crispy, an important balance for thin crust. The salad was nicely dressed and evenly flavored. For a half salad it was a nice portion. The breadsticks were a highlight. The accompanying marinara sauce was surprisingly sweet but very good, and delivered warm. The breadsticks themselves came fresh out of the oven but might have been a bit too doughy for my taste. Otherwise, the cheese topping created a nice crisp and flavor for the breadsticks. Points off for the unprofessional employees in plain view of the customers, but otherwise the food and service was good.

Service was just fine but I wasn’t a fan of the pizza. We tried 3 different kinds and nobody in our group enjoyed it very much.

First when the final four is on TV but you won’t let me change the channel you aren’t getting a star just because you don’t understand customer service. Second when your macaroni and cheese comes from a box you loose another. The pizza was legit and for that reason I would give it a thumbs up, but still the service was not good and I was the owner manger that had the problem. The cashier was nice and polite but again if you’re the owner you need to understand that Unilocal exists for a reason!

I’ve been to the Provo location many times and have been pleased every time. I have tried at least 7 of their pizzas and a few of the salads and have liked it all. I’ve never ordered pasta. Today I ordered take out and my oder was hot and ready right on time! I like my pizza crust thin and baked in a wood fired oven and that is exactly what you get here. Delicious! I like a little char on my crust and you get that here too. And the best part about eating here is knowing I am helping someone else! Great business idea and the food will keep me coming back.

I went here with my friend on a Friday night. My friend’s been here before, but it was my first time here. I like how big the place is, unlike most pizza shops. However, there is only one person in charge of taking all the orders. The wait was long and the line has started getting longer and longer. I wish they have more people to take orders. We’ve ordered a BLT Pizza and a Four Cheese. The BLT didn’t look like what we’ve expected it would be. We barely saw any meat on it, instead there were a lot of lettuce and tomato. Though we couldn’t found meat on the pizza, it definitely tasted like bacon. My friend and I both think the BLT was a bit too salty, and I think that’s the reason they’ve topped it with so many veggies. The Four Cheese Pizza was um… a regular four cheese pizza. It’s good, but nothing surprise here. I really wish they could make thick crust pizza too, because I’m a huge fan of thick crust pizza.

This is a recently opened location for this restaurant. We knew what to expect going in. We ordered three different pizzas, a pasta dish, and a salad. Overall, the pizzas were tasty. A bit charred on the edges, however. The meatballs in the pasta dish had a funny after taste — not sure what to make of that.
