The Boardroom Salon for Men

I really like this place. I get a quality haircut from Stephanie, but I’d also like to focus on the personal customer service I get from Christina who mans the front desk. Christina always greets me by name, is very personable as well as professional. She always sets the tone for a positive visit, and I hope that her management understands how important her interactions with The Boardroom’s clients are and how she positively impacts the perception of this organization. Being greeted by name in a cheerful and considerate manner makes me and my fellow customers feel truly appreciated.

Came in for my second appointment, which was given to me for referring another client (awesome rewards program FYI). I got the Benchmark service, performed by Yesenia, who was just amazing. Also, Camille, in the front was very inviting and remembered me by name even though it was only my second appointment. I absolutely love this place!!! All services are top notch!

I bought my husband a gift card. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I walked in having no idea what services where offered, ect. The manager, Camille, stepped up, and took me under her wing. She gave me an insightful tour of this beautiful establishment, went over in detail each service they offer, which is just about anything your guy would need. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about all the products they carry, broke down the membership program for me– which is a great deal by the way. If your guy gets his cut often, that’s the way to go!
The manager made me feel so welcome, she was so friendly, that I wish I could come get my services done here! I’m confident that my husband is in good hands, based on the exceptional customer services displayed by Camille. Her whole staff seemed excited, happy, and professional.
They even have free beer for the guys!
I’m so glad I went in and met with this group of ladies. Best service in the area.

I was back in the The Boardroom yesterday for my haircut. I am so impressed with that place. If you get the Benchmark cut, you get an incredible face, hand and arm massage. They have an awesome staff. I met Camille yesterday the manager and she asked me if I Unilocaled… which was funny because I already had the Unilocal app up on my phone and had already started this review. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks Camille!

This place is incredible (which is not a term I use often when referring to a salon). Christian was real, profession and passionate — definitely my new «go to» stylist. This place is worth the extra couple dollars!

Fernando was very receptive to the ideas for a style, and was exceptionally professional when cutting my boyfriend’s hair. The cut was done wonderfully, and still looks great after a few week’s growth. We will definitely be returning thanks to his help!

This morning was my first experience with The Boardroom, and it was an amazing experience. The staff is fantastic and friendly. Stylists know their stuff and are very helpful when you ask for their advice on what would look best. The manager, Camille, is wonderful and provides excellent customer service. I had been to this location on and off for a couple years but in recent months. I decided to change that this summer. More importantly, finally find a stylist whom I’d visit on a regular basis.
On my previous visit in late August, I had an odd experience with the stylist. In case I had imagined it, I was willing to give her another chance. When I scheduled my appointment for today, I discovered she was unavailable and was assigned to Kassie.
This turned out great. Kassie was very friendly and professional. As I prefer the stylist to choose the proper cut for me, she didn’t overwhelm me with questions. Not only did she make the decisions, it was the appropriate choices. As a result, I liked the results.
When it was time for the shampoo and head massage, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of pressure she applied during the massage. I almost fell asleep because it was that relaxing. She also massaged my face during the facial.
For the future of this location, I hope the rest of the recent hires are like Kassie.

Excellent shop and excellent staff. This is the perfect place for men of all ages to come get pampered. Whether getting a simple cut or the benchmark, this is the ideal place to relax.
I love my weekly benchmark with Chloe. She is wonderful and I get constant complements on my haircut. I can’t imagine getting my haircut anywhere else. I wish I had found this place sooner.

This was my first time at The Boardroom. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I received the benchmark service, and it was one of the most relaxing experiences. I most definitely plan to return here on a regular basis.

The last 2 times I went have been very disappointing. I got a bad cut which they fixed but it still took me 2 trips to get a cut. the last time I booked a reservation online complete with card info. When I got there I was told I had know reservation and there must have been a glitch in the system. If you charge more than anyone else and your in the service industry you better deliver the best service and this place falls way short of that mark. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great concept in a great location, but for me the quality wasn’t up to par with the price. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had great cuts here before, just the consistency wasn’t there. They keep notes on your hair cuts and mine would come out different each visit, even though it was a «3 on the sides tapered down». The girls up front were nice and accommodating, just the cut wasn’t worth $ 50. To be fair, it has been quite a while since I’ve been in, so maybe it has improved.

In addition to the Unilocal review. I contacted the salon through their website to let them know about my experiences with their service. The manager had reviewed the appointment histories in their computer and confirmed my complaints and offered me the opportunity to come in and let them have another chance. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. I arrived a few minutes early and right on time we started. It was the experience I am sure they want all their customers to have; great haircut, excellent experience. I feel better the Boardroom and as long I continue to get this level of service I can see myself going back.

I have tried various «men’s only» salons in the area, and they all pale in comparison to The Boardroom in Highland Village. Kayla cuts my hair every two weeks and her talent, friendliness and customer service are all beyond reproach. The rest of the staff always have a smile on their face and are willing to help answer questions. DEFINITELY call and set up an appointment with Kayla. You will not be disappointed.

I love this place! You will pay more, but it is by far the best place to get a haircut. Very professional and clean. Give them a shot and I promise you will be back. Make sure you set an appt, but if you don’t no worries… sit back and have a drink while watching TV in very comfortable leather seating.
