Excellent sushi and fish options. I especially enjoyed the fish tacos, which were reasonably priced and tasty. Servers were also friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for those seeking good kosher sushi.

This is the best sushi around. I tend to order the Dragon roll and a Michael salad. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. If I go with friends for dinner, were usually enjoying the restaurant until they kick us out as closing! Great atmosphere and great food. I am never disappointed.

Excellent!!! I am picky when it comes to trying a sushi restaurant but this one was delicious. I have been driving by this restaurant since it opened but never went in because of that very same pickiness. Tonight, though, to please my wife’s craving of eating sushi this place came to mind and to avoid driving far ;) I placed an order and WOW! Strongly recommend the Hawaiian roll from their veggie selection.

I am a regular at this place. The food is amazing, the staff very friendly and priced well. There has not been one time I ate there or took out where the food wasn’t up to par. I keep going back because it’s just a nice friendly place where the food is amazing. If you haven’t tried it, give it a chance!

AVOID if you are not looking specifically for KOSHER sushi. Sushi and rolls are inferior to most nearby restaurants. I had two rolls and a sunomono salad, and was very disappointed at the taste and appearance of my food.

The service was great but I will say the sushi was underwhelming. The special rolls were quite small and weren’t anything special. I get sushi regularly and I wasn’t overly impressed. I thought it’d be better since it got great reviews. Probably would go somewhere else next time for the same price

A favorite eatery in Highland Park, now serving a variety of dishes besides the delicious sushi. Service is pleasant and fairly zippy… Whether your eat kosher or just like a hearty meal – this is a fine place to dine. The new location boasts plenty of comfortable, brightly lit seating. What’s not to like?

Amazing — — a restaurant thats completely kosher yet reminiscent of the restaurants we liked in when living in Japan, with interesting creative yet healthful combinations, very simple things for nervous eaters, and small luscious desserts that won’t warp your diet. My local mom is a regular but we all like it too. Modern and pleasing décor. Sometimes it gets a little busy for the number of servers but they’re always very caring about you getting a good meal.

Chances upon this hidden gem at their old location while driving through New Jersey. This was probably the best sushi we have ever had. It was just so flavorful and fresh. In addition, the fish & chips dish that we ordered was made to perfection and the service was supreme, with plenty of delicious sauces being brought to our table. We are definitely looking forward to our next chance to visit this establishment!

Some of the best kosher sushi in New Jersey! Has a great selection of both sushi and other Asian fusion food. All food is super fresh and there’s something for every member of the family no matter what they’re age!

Enjoyed some great sashimi salad however I would consider renaming it sashimi slaw since it was much closer to coleslaw than salad.

This place was great. As a tourist coming from California, I wanted to try the best sushi in town and I heard Sushiana was the place to be. I had the«Exotic Roll» and it was made perfectly. Their menu is extensive and you are bound to find something great to eat! Trust me, your taste buds will appreciate it. Sushiana is one of the few kosher places in the area or at least that is what I’ve heard. All in all, you won’t regret coming here. I recommend all tourists and locals to give it a try!

Some of the freshest sashimi and vegetables I’ve had, let alone one of the better restaurants in Highland Park/New Brunswick. Their menu is ridiculously large, but includes traditional Chinese and Thai plus Japanese. I’m more of the Asian fusion type, so their Salmon Tartare, Seared Tuna, fresh — and big — salads are perfect for the New Yorker in me.

*miso soup(I really liked this soup despite it being far from miso soup haha. I love the mushrooms and whatever that fried tasting chip is; pretty good, soup needs to be hotter) *vegetable tempura(I liked this but definitely on the much oilier end of things; I particularly enjoyed the butternut squash, it was ripe and had a beautiful color and flavor to it; there was also zucchini, green pepper, sweet potato and an onion ring which was random) *dragon roll, tropical aquarium roll, zombie roll,(they’re all very similar in taste and texture, however my favorite was the dragon roll; they give you sweet/sour dipping sauce and spicy mayo. I was having a love-hate relationship with the sweet and sour. I like it separately, not necessarily with the sushi. I think that sauce would go well in an eel rice bowl) *lava cake(yum!!! I loved this dessert. Cake was moist and the chocolate thankfully wasn’t overly sweet; I loved the crushed cookies on the plate, it gave it a nice crunch to an otherwise monotone texture) This place is cute, quiet, serves good food and has great service. I think they have pretty decent sushi. I would be interested in trying some of their entrees. I’d go back.

I loved this place before, but I love their new location even better. With an expanded menu and dining room sushiana has it all. My favorite is their delicious sushi, but I’ve also had their soups, pad Thai and mooshoo beef. But wait, it’s not actually beef, because the whole restaurant is pareve. Please don’t leave without trying one of their awesome tempura desserts. Both the tempura ice cream and sandwich cookies are deeeelishhh! As for service, I would say that it is better than average. I’ve never waited long for my entrée and service is always with a smile, no matter who is working. Keep up the good work sushiana, you make the kosher crowd proud!

Excellent Kosher sushi. They moved around the Corner so Unilocal lost all their great reviews. Being kosher, no shrimp or shellfish, they use substitute for crab. Our go to place for sushi. Love the nutty highlander On Mondays they have a special assorted roll which is 2 pieces of 4 different rolls
