Nice people, but not a place for men to get their haircut. It was the priciest haircut I’ve ever gotten(haircut and shampoo = $ 34 prior to tip), and it was pretty bad. I specifically went to get my hair cut prior to an important event, and now I’m tempted to get my hair re-cut somewhere else. Even the cheap-o places will probably be better. It came out looking pretty sloppy, and when someone is cutting your hair like that, there’s not much you can do — you can’t make them better at cutting hair. The sides and back are not uniformly cut. It just doesn’t have that neat and clean look that you should expect at even the cheapest barber. My side burns are messy with some stray, un-cut hairs coming out. It’s not cut nicely around my ears. I can still feel that I’m a bit hairy on my neck — I’ll probably ask my friend if she can clean me up. It basically looks like I’ve gone a while without getting it cut or that I cut it myself. When I got out, I had hair all down my back because she didn’t use a proper collar and such to keep hair off me. Oh well, now I know. Next time, I’ll go to a barber that looks like he’s cut a few thousand heads of hair in his day. These are good people and possibly good for women’s hair, but I would advise dudes to stay away.

I love my haircut from Cheri! I am pretty low maintenance and super busy, so I’m not good at keeping up with my cuts. Cheri is great at sending me friendly FB messages when it’s time for me(and my boys) to get in. She keeps our family looking good. Since I have a presentation on Thursday, it was vital that I got in there today. With some schedule jugging, she made it possible. This time around I wanted to add some layers to my hair, so to save time I found a magazine picture, emailed it to her ahead of time, and when I arrived she was ready for me. In and out in no time at all, my hair looks exactly like the photo! Easy peasy experience. Note: You can put the tip on your card. My hair looks professional and cool all at the same time.

$ 30 after tip for the most basic men’s haircut. Seems expensive. Very tacky. Okay haircut, nothing special but the high price.

Friendly service, horrible haircut. Did all the right things(ask type of haircut wanted, made sure no hair got on clothing, shampoo) but cut my hair uneven(lopsided right to left) with stragglers all over that I had to trim at home.

Elinor is a little gem!!! Fairly new to the salon but a really asset! I travel 30mins to the salon & would travel further if i had too! Elinor has cut & coloured my hair for 8 months now & I won’t let anyone else touch it! She also cuts my 3 teenage daughters hair & they are always very happy with the results too! Elinor is a real find!

My «buddy» Roger(he is a hell of a nice guy) cuts my hair, trims my beard/ears, and can shoot the breeze like you went to high school together. Great hair-cut. Tell Roger what you want done and he makes it happen… provides good feedback on style as well. In Highland park where most hair related services are pricey and up-scale, Roger & Mane Cutters gives you the ‘up-scale’…w/o the pricey. If you’re in a time-pinch, call Roger and he’ll squeeze you in. The up-scale shops sneer at ‘squeezing one in’. Mane Cutters(for entire family) and Roger«Dodger» are truly Highly recommended.

Olga is the best manicurist in Highland Park! She is very friendly and loves helping people. She goes out of her way to help her clients! Love my manicure and pedicures that I get from her! I have also gotten waxed by Olga and she is very gentle! I highly recommend you try her out!
