Quite simply, a top notch barbershop with master craftsman plying their trade: expert hair cuts. I think what most impressed me and set my expectation was the particular towel wrap they used on my neck. Pino folded a towel just so, and placed it on my neck before fastening the cape. When he was done, there wasn’t a hair on my shirt. He expertly trimmed my hair with scissors and straight razor, leaving me clean and freshly groomed. Good price, great service and great conversation. Thanks guys, phenomenal attention to detail and the wife approves.

An old fashioned barber shop. Two brothers, of Italian descent, come to this country in 1963, learn to cut hair and open a shop in downtown Highland Park in 1971. They claim they are the oldest business in HP still in the same location. That’s good enough for me. Franco did my hair(what’s left of it), took his time, told a lot of stories and treated me to an authentic espresso made with imported Italian espresso beans. The haircut was fine and the price reasonable. That is a five star review.

A traditional barbershop for guys who want a good haircut at reasonable prices. No manicures or massages. The tv in the waiting area is tuned to sports, not an infomercial for some grooming products/services. Pino has been cutting the hair of my family’s men for three generations. He and his brother, Franco, are prompt, great barbers, and really decent human beings. They are also great with little boys. Prices are fair(my Dad(may he rest in peace) got a discount because he was bald. The shop is busy, so make an appointment in advance.
