Walgreens

This pharmacy is way in over it’s head. They close early most of the the time (8pm) and if you try to go during the day… you will always wait. As far as the rest of the store, the photo people are skilled and friendly, but I would not recommend for pharmacy.

This is a pretty nice Walgreens (and WAY nicer than the Kerr Drug). The only negative I’ve experienced is the pharmacy. On two separate occasions the didn’t have a basic medication in stock do we had to run across town or wait a day or two for it to come in. On another visit their computer system went down and they couldn’t figure out how to get it back up and running, so I had to come back the following day even though it was ready. Huge hassle. All that aside, I’m really happy they are here!

This Walgreens has to be the nicest one in Guilford county.
The store just opened and they carry a wide range of things that I had no idea Walgreen’s carried. For starters, they now sell frozen foods such as pizza, cake, ice cream, burritos and many many other things.
I thought it was funny that this is a brand new store and there is no tile or carpet or anything on the floor. Just a shine on regular concrete. I assume this is a way to cut corners in a tough economy.
They have a huge selection of soaps, shampoos and conditioners, lotions and sunless tanners.
They only thing I can think of that is a negative is the entrance. You have to enter through the back of the store in behind. No entrance at the front on Wendover.
