That’s right, this is as good as it gets. This is the most awesome place around. The manager, Mike is just tops, always friendly and helpful in every way. One of the guys in the back, Derrick, is another one of our favorites. He is always smiling and always on the job. We had never been to a Freddy’s until this one came to High Point, so now we go there as often as possible and we have never been disappointed. I always get the California burger combo. I love the crispy edges on the burger and you can tell this is REALMEAT, not fillers. There’s no comparison to this place. Just delicious food. Love the fries, too. Keep up the good cooking. See you soon! Love you guys!

Alice wanted a good chocolate milk shake, so we decided to give Freddy’s another try — she got her good shake. I got a burnt burger with very strong onions, a sloppy Chicago Dog, and a chance to spend over 10 minutes in their drive thru lane, the first 3 minutes trying to get the person taking our order to get the damn order right. They did get the order right, so I guess repeating it 4 times was helpful, and probably necessary. I did come away feeling that their approach to training new employees might need a tweak or 10.

Sat in the drive thru for several minutes with no acknowledgement, so I can’t really say how the food is.

Since the reviews here are plentiful, there does not seem to be a need to repeat certain information. I too agree that Freddy’s is in direct competition with Steak N Shake because of the similar fries and menu. Unfortunately, Freddy’s is not 24 hour like its competition — but the food tastes better. The #1 double meal is my favorite option, and like others — I love the crispy edges on the meat. The fries are seasoned well, and don’t forget to ask for the fry sauce. Any additional options in this location is cool, so I’ll be back!

Freddy’s has the unfortunate distinction of trying to compete with Cook-Out for the hearts and wallets of triad area citizens and it is failing miserably. Prices are high. Period. My first experience with the place was a $ 4 milkshake which was probably about 7 ounces and not particularly good. Cook Out beats the pants off it in this department. Second experience some friends asked me there for a meal… so I agreed, and then wish I hadn’t. Again, I spent $ 9 on a mediocre burger, fry, drink combination. There are too many good burger restaurants in this area for this kind of thing to fly. Take your money to Hops, Big Burger Spot, Porterhouse, Emma Key’s, or hell… buy TWO people the same stuff at Cook Out.

We keep coming here because we enjoy the food. However once again the order was messed up. This is the third time in a row. And I also noticed others taking their trays back for corrections. When I spoke with the lead person he stated that there was a new person on the register taking orders. But if it happened three times in a row it is more than that. He did give us two coupons for free food which I probably won’t use until I see that they have made improvements. We will be back in a week to checkup and pay for it ourselves. Then we will see where we go from there.

I have been to Freddy’s in High Point, NC twice now — two strikes and I am not sure I am willing to risk a third. The first time I went, several months ago, my order was incorrect and I thought the burger was very greasy. I went again today during my lunch break and decided to order the double cheeseburger on the rye bread with the onions, ketchup, and pickles — just to give it another chance. I get back to my desk to find they had given me the wrong burger — even though the correct one was on the receipt. I had asked to make certain there was no mayo on this burger since I can’t eat it and the one I received(on a regular bun) was covered with mayo and mustard. So here I sit at work with no lunch. I called the restaurant and they agreed to refund my money if I stop back in but what I would really like is to get what I ordered — and to have lunch instead of sitting here at work getting angry about Freddy’s lack of quality checks.

I have eaten at locations in Mesa(AZ) and Cary. Not much different from what I can remember. The store itself reminds me of an In N Out and has that ‘west coast’ feel to it or something. I also believe it has a double drive through. Freddy’s it seems to me would be in direct competition with Steak n’ Shake as it touts steak burgers and desserts. I always get the Bacon Double combo with fries. This runs you 8.82. The burger patties have a crunchy edge and are unique. They are very thin however and I can’t imagine a single patty sandwich as this would be mostly bread. This comes with pickle, onions, and mustard(I get without mustard), but you can add other stuff such as lettuce and tomato. I think the knock on the burger as other reviewers have said is that there needs to be more meat on it and you could go with three patties for a more satisfying burger. The patties are good when eaten by themselves but clearly take a backseat when eaten with everything else. It is a tasty burger however overall. Other reviewers have mentioned price point. I would say it is similar in price to a Steak n’ Shake or In N Out and you could do the comparison there however you see fit. The fries are the shoestring type. They are salted nicely and not a grease saturated mess. These are a good version if you like the smaller fries. This meal is a good break from a burger and fries at other chain types as the patties have the unique crunch to them. I would stop by if I was craving something like this, but I am not sure that this would be a destination for a burger. It was an opportunity today and I took it. Put simply, it was comfort food and hit the need. It was good. My service experience was a tad slow for fast food today. Ordering was quick, but receiving was slow. This is one of those places that call your number when ready and you go get it. There was one order ahead of mine and it took about ten minutes to receive my food. I would go with four stars if not for this. No issues with cleanliness or whatever. And of course I have to add that this place is yet another example of people reviewing chains and/or fast food. :)

This is a great family friendly place that serves good quality burgers and dogs and of course, the custard. My kids like the hotdogs. Personally, I love the smashed steak burger and the fries with the awesome fry dipping sauce. I know this is a chain, and I am normally not a chain guy, this place does it right and the staff is friendly — it seems some people have had some issues but I personally have not. I will go back for sure.

This was my first time at Freddy’s, I’m a transplant from Atlanta. I gave it 3 stars because the service was really great and the place was really clean… but for burgers that are supposed to be made to order I got mine in 2 mins… definitely wasn’t made when I ordered. And the food was just ok. I felt I could have gotten a bigger portion of food that tasted better at 5 Guys for the same price.

It was a pretty good burger. I expected a little better quality given the price point, but overall it was ok. We went through the drive through around 9:30 at night and had to wait quite awhile for our order. They weren’t busy and seemed to have plenty of staff so I’m not sure what the delay was. Besides the wait, the reason I’m giving them 3 stars is because the girl taking our order didn’t know the menu well and it took some effort and patience to get her to understand what we wanted even though it was on the sign.

The atmosphere is fun and busy but the staff there make it look easy. The service was prompt and with a smile. There is a lot more to choose from than I thought there would be. They are steak-burgers so they are thin with the crispy edges which I love. The shoe string fries were seasoned well and made perfectly. We didn’t wait long for the food at all. The custard was perfect! I will take issue with the price point being that I think, for what you get(although tasty) is a little higher than I would expect. Overall, it’s not a place I will go often but when I get the craving I will certainly be back.

Drove thru Freddy’s, ordered unsweetened tea, and a Turtle Sunday. I got sweet tea, very sweet tea, and had to get back in line to get it corrected. No biggie… happens all the time; growing pains. However when I tasted by Turtle Sunday I was in a state of bliss. The custard was creamy and fresh, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. It has real half pecans, not peanuts, and the fudge/caramel sauce… yummy. I was a good size for the money. I will go back, if only for the frozen choices. I gave four stars because the replacement tea tasted old, and a bit sour, I poured it out.

Freddy’s steak burgers. My new favorite place for a fast food burger! Absolutely love their fries. They are the shoestring kind and go great with their Freddy’s fry sauce! I always get the Freddy’s original which comes with cheese, onion, mustard and a pickle! So yum in my tum. I can never leave without getting a sweet treat either. Freddy’s serves frozen custard sundaes and milkshakes! My one complaint is the lack of seating. They should have done a little better in its design. Also this location could work on its cleaning habits. Every time I’ve been the table we go to is always dirty and hasn’t been wiped down and the underneath usually has trash under it. Hope they will step this up so they can stay open for a long time! Service is usually good and food is priced fair.

Little pricey, but if you’re out to treat yourself, Freddys is worth it. Their steak burgers are SO good! I’m an onion lover and they definitely aren’t stingy with them like most places. Their custard is great too. I always get the PBC& B(peanut butter cups & bananas) and I’m never disappointed!

Before my first visit, a friend who had enjoyed Freddy’s in the Midwest cautioned me that the burgers are intentionally thin, and that it’s best to order a double. I was glad for her warning, because«steakburger» conjures the image of a thick, juicy burger for me. The burger I got was as my friend described, but it was delicious, if a little salty. The double was good, but a single probably would have been fine. My son enjoyed his bacon double as well. I ordered onion rings, which were very crisp and tasty, not at all greasy, but sadly few in number. I coveted my son’s generous serving of shoestring fries dusted with seasoned salt(he shared, ’cause his mama raised him right). The cashier was very pleasant and patient, especially after I explained it was our first time there and we were unfamiliar with the menu. The food was obviously freshly prepared, but I wasn’t wild about the number-calling system; as another reviewer noted, there were no numbers on the trays corresponding to the receipt, so it would be fairly easy for someone to pick up the wrong tray. The place was clean, with a bit of a fifties diner vibe, and a manager and at least one other employee circulating and offering to clear tables for diners who were finished. Took home a pint of the chocolate frozen custard, which was very good. I would certainly order it again. Welcome to the Triad, Freddy’s.

Freddy’s is new to the Greensboro/High Point area and if you’ve never been to one think«Steak & Shake» but not as good.(At least not on my visit) The outlet is located at the Palladium Shopping Center and usually loaded with vehicles every night of the week. I assume that is due in part by the newness of the location and most of the folks in the area having a strong desire to try something different. I don’t have a lot to say about this place as it’s your typical drive-thru, quick serving fast casual dine. They have everything from burgers to hot dogs and even chicken sandwiches. My visit consisted of a steakburger, fries and a Pepsi. The Pepsi tasted great, the burger… not so much. It was so thin that it fell apart and crumbled onto the wrapper. I had high hopes of actually tasting a beefy burger but I was let down. The FF’s are VERY thin; thinner than any I have ever seen and also have no real taste or flavor. Did I come on a bad night? Anyway, I doubt I will be back simply due to quality, taste and price. I was really disappointed as I was truly excited about this place.

We drove from Charlotte to eat here. Yes we did! We are from the Midwest and have missed Freddy’s like crazy. We arrived right at lunch hour and despite being cold and rainy, it was busy. We found a table right away and walked right up to a register. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Our number was called quickly and our food was exactly what we ordered and deeeeeeeelicious!!! I just can’t get enough of those fries. Ordinarily I’m a fresh cut person when it comes to fries, but Freddy’s fries are an exception! Thin, crispy and salted with Freddy’s season salt — they are awesome! So, the burger. The patties are thin. They are supposed to be. They aren’t burnt and they certainly aren’t a Maid-Rite(as mentioned in another review — Maid-Rite is a loose meat sandwich). Given that the patties are thin, the menu features double and triple burgers for those who like more meat. Personally, the single is my go to. I love the thin meat so you can actually taste the cheese and condiments. The custard is great as well. If you have room, it’s worth a try for sure. Thanks Freddy’s for inching ever so much closer to Charlotte!

Freddy’s is the new fast casual burger and shake shop in town. I believe from the Midwest region. Some good and some not so good. I thought the sides were the star of the show. Very tasty shoe string fries and onion rings were solid. My daughter gave a thumbs up to kids hot dog. In addition, the custard has a nice Dairy Queen type vibe to it. Was concerned about speed of service and on a busy night it moved pretty well. Was disappointed in the burger. Was like a loose meat sandwhich from made rite(Midwest chain). Very odd texture and just not sure burger is the right description. Grilled chicken sandwhich was average. Pickup of your order is a little chaotic too. Not bad for what it is and my pickey eater daughter liked it so that counts for something. At a minimum go shoestring fries and u will be all set.

I tried Freddy’s for lunch on a weekday. They got my order wrong and my brother’s order wrong. One main problem is that they call out your number to come pick up your food, and don’t leave anything on each tray to signify who’s order is who’s. I think that other customers inadvertently picked up both our orders by mistake. We got burgers we didn’t order. When I returned the food and pointed this out, one of the teenaged male employees took the plate, threw away the burger and tossed the fries back in the fry compartment behind the counter. First of all… it SHOULD be widely known that once food goes over the counter and is returned, you ABSOLUTELY cannot re-use it. People contaminate food… whether it’s unintentional or not. People can pass diseases, viruses, bacteria, etc. in food. I felt sick to my stomach when the employee did this right in front of me. Obviously I’m not going to contaminate myself… but if he did it for my fries he probably did it for other people in front of me. The correct response should have been to throw the fries away and get new ones. He didn’t want to do that though because they were very low on fries. Burger is messy and way too thin. You have to order a triple just to feel like you aren’t eating a cracker between two buns. Not very much flavor on the burger and fries were nothing special. I won’t be back unfortunately.
