Attentive Care

I hired attentive care services for my mother back in November-​December of 2015. I was extremely disappointed with their services. I spoke to some lady named laura (I think) in the Hicksville office. She promised me 3 aides and full coverage for the times I needed. Let’s just say that they were able to cover 20% of that. I had to take off from work 3 out of 5 days a week to take care of my mom because they didn’t have coverage. To make matters worse, the aides are lazy, incompetent, and have bad attitudes. They charged my company (private LTC) insurance $ 23.00 an hour. Meanwhile the aides told me they only get $ 9-​$ 13 an hour. To make matters worse, Tammy who is the scheduler is completely incompetent. I signed an «assignment of benefits» form to have my LTC company pay them directly. They took a few extra weeks to pay them and I received a collections letter from an attorney they hired in Albany, NY!!! Just to add insult to injury. I work for the company whom I have the LTC policy for my mom. I informed them and their 3^rd party research firm called Care Scout to NEVER, EVER RECCOMEND THEM WHATSOEVER!!! I am also reaching out to some contacts to have them investigated formally.
