Holiday Inn Express Hickory-Hickory Mart

My company booked me, and 30 of my co-​workers a room here for two weeks before Christmas, everything was going smoothly until I noticed some items missing from my room. I contacted management about it, and they assured me they would look into it. I was told nothing came up on the security system. I was also told I would be contacted by the general manager, that never happened. I tried to contact their corporate office about the situation and ended up having my account suspended on their (IHG) website. If their was nothing they could do, I just wish they would have told me. I appreciate honesty over just shutting me out as if I am not important. But someone at my company has assured me that this hotel has been removed from our list an we will take our $ 100,000 business else where. Other than that, the breakfast bar waffles and bacon are wonderful!

I haven’t stayed at a Holiday Inn in a cat’s age. We ended up here along with other relatives who were in town for a wedding and family reunion. This is a clean and well maintained property. Nice sized room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Relatively quiet. Good location not far off the Interstate and close to downtown Hickory. Close to a couple of decent eateries and right next door to the Hickory Furniture Mart. Friendly staff. The breakfast is pretty typical of these kind of serve yourself set ups. I stayed with yogurt, coffee and a danish. We enjoyed our stay.
