At least you won’t end up on the parody website dedicated to «Patasucias». Nestled in a triangular corner off Okeechobee Road in the Hialeah warehouse district, the Skechers store is a solid place where I’ve gotten my everyday office shoes and crosstrainers. I even got a pair of dress shoes once, and can’t complain about durability since the pairs tend to last a year or so. The aesthetics are pure functional warehouse, with shelves going all the way up to the roof and metal ladders to access them. However, only employees are allowed and sometimes you have to go from one corner to the other to find help. Still and all, the employees are fairly plesant. This being Hialeah, there is a traffic horror story and it has to do with the fact the store boundary is next to a fast food restaurant. They have signs that they’ll tow you. Your best bet is to use the back parking lot.
