GREAT Chinese food. I have been coming here for over 10 years and everything I’ve had is awesome. My family loves to order this on takeout night. I’m from NY and Chinese food there can’t be beat but Mr. Lees comes pretty close. The owner is actually from NY too. The only negative thing I have to say is that prices seem to keep rising too often. It has gotten way too expensive. chicken wings and French fries are almost 10 dollars which is ridiculous for something so basic. Either way try it you won’t be disappointed just a little broke after.

I just had the worst Szechuan beef I’ve ever had in my life! I’m glad it was mostly vegetables and about 4 pieces of «beef». Probably won’t be here again.

Mr Lees has long been our go to place Chinese. We have good and bad experiences but over all we have liked it. We recently«cheated» on Mr lees and went to a place across the street… We have crawled back to Mr lees! We ordered honey garlic chicken chicken wings and chicken on Garlic sauce. The meals come with eggrolls and soup. I don’t know if there was a new cook or if we ordered on day where everything was super fresh; but the food was amazing! The chicken in garlic sauce was so flavorful with the perfect touch of spice. The rice was so tasty and full of pork! It was not greasy at all! The eggrolls were golden fried and had a nice crisp texture. The wings were large, fresh and were crunchy. We were very satisfied with our meal!

Very dissatisfied with Mr Lee. We ordered the family special and the bucket of fried rice was just that! The fried rice had no vegetables, no meat, nothing. Paid $ 33 for just rice. In addition the egg rolls were extremely dry and probably a week old. Very dissatisfied with this place. Will begin hunting for a new Chinese place in the area which there are plenty, Thank God.

Best Chinese food joint in the area. A bit over priced but the food is really worth it. My wife usually orders I never been to the restaurant. If there delivery is good there restaurant should be even better. Recommend this to everyone who likes Chinese food you won’t be disappointed!

I am very loyal to my local Miami Lakes asian restaurant, Rice Bucket, that is consistently great! Never, ever had a single bad experience there… but I was working on 67th and Miami Gardens Drive so I really had no choice when my boss wanted asian. I absolutely love this place! Everything was so incredible, and I got to try several of their dishes. My favorite dish is honey garlic chicken– and theirs was everything I expected. Although I do prefer the honey garlic sauce on the side for dipping, theirs was well done and drenched in the sauce which was delicious. The crab rangoon wasnt as thick as I usually like it– but also undoubtedly great. I’ve never had crab rangoon I didn’t like! The orange chicken was good, but its never been my favorite dish so I only sampled it.(Thank gosh my boss bought a plentiful amount of food for the whole office!) I highly recommend this place, its pretty incredible and prices are exactly what you’d expect for very generous sized portions. I HAVE to give it five stars because it brought me out of my usual comfort zone and did not disappoint.

Have ordered from here many many times and have always enjoyed their great food. Unfortunately, after today, I will no longer order from them. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, as we ALWAYS do, and when it arrived they decided to put the sauce on the chicken. Never have they done this before. I call to ask them if they can please pick up the untouched chicken and the lady said that I would need to bring it back myself to exchange it because their driver would get«very upset» if he had to return to my house for a mistake THEY made. I tipped that driver enough to come back to my house another time. Horrible customer service on their end and since when do the drivers call the shots? As I stated, will never order from Mr. Lees, again.

Been coming to Mr. Lees since i move to Miami in 1995. Great chinese food! I have since moved to Pembroke Pines and have tried other chinese places and nothing compares. I still make the trip back to hialeah for a delicious bucket of PFR.

Literally, I threw all the food out after one bite of everything. It was a $ 19 experience. It seemed like the food was soaked in grease. We found a place called Asian Garden on W 68th Street, Hialeah — much better. Happy we found a new place.

Ah Mr. Lee’s…brings back memories of when I was a young pup at American High School across the street(Go Patriots… YESTHATIS A CHEAPPLUG) and us freshment and upperclassmen who still did not have cars would rush across 67th Avenue no matter whether it was raining or shining during our 1 hour lunch break to get some quick Chinese food. Over 20 years later and Mr. Lee’s is still at its small location… wedged in between Little Caesars and the Firestone garage, still serving heaping portions of delicious Chinese foods. This restaurant is not a sit-down restaurant, but rather you either pick up or you have delivery. No matter what you choose, you will get good food at reasonable places. Hopefully this place sticks around for another 20 years.

This was the best Chinese place that we had found my our new house in Miami lakes. We loved eating here, until I found something in my food. I literally stopped eating and was so grossed out! They have the best general Tao chicken with pork fried rice in the area. So if your willing to give it a try — go for it.

I’m used to coming here all the time and the food is great but this time that I went and it wasn’t good at all. The rice was hard and dark like it was fried a bunch of times and the chicken was tough and dry seems like new owners. Previous owners were from New York that’s why it was good. Don’t waist your time and money going to this place it sucks

Ordered for the first time and I LOVED it. I have tried several places around and finally landed on a good one. Mr. Lee’s food is authentic, tasted great, and was reasonably priced. I couldn’t get enough of the delicious fried rice, ribs and sweet and sour chicken. I sincerely recommend this place. I truly hope they keep up the great quality, sadly many new restaurants start out great then fade away into quantity over quality.

Have had delivery 4 times so far and love it! The lo mien is delicious, the chicken melt in your mouth tender. I love the egg foo young… the sauce is very different than I have had before but very tasty. I just add a little chili oil to kick it up a notch. Really like the to n sour soup too.

I’m offended on how many great reviews this place received. Apparently Hialeah has a low standard on Chinese food. Anyways, from the phone call for delivery everything was bad. The chick who answered was rude and unfriendly. My total was like $ 30 and on the menu there are coupons and one of them says if you order more than $ 25 they’ll throw in a can of soda or egg roll. I asked for my can of soda and they said no because I’m paying credit and not cash, when it doesn’t state that on the menu not even in small print. Whatever, no big deal but annoying. Now the food… Rice was bland and super dry, very cubanized. Fried rice is suppose to be a little greasy and taste asian not like adobo. I ordered noodles with chicken and vegetables and it was again super dry, no delicious«soyey» liquid on the bottom to mix and slurp. And the steak and broccoli did not taste Chinese at all. It was bland and the steak mushed in my mouth, gross. Egg rolls, eeeh, mediocre at best. Last thing, the complimentary white rice came in a super small container when in other Chinese restaurants it comes in a small Chinese box enough for 2 – 3 people. It hurt to throw away $ 30 worth of food but if I’m gonna get fat off Chinese food it better taste good. Best Chinese take out in the area is hands down Ming Village. Don’t waste your money here and everyone who likes this place don’t you dare compare it to New York take out Chinese restaurants.

The only downside to this place is the fact it is hard to understand the lady answering the phone. The food is always delicious and they are on point with the flavor, temperature, etc. It is strictly for delivery or takeout.

I’ve been a loyal customer for the past 10+ years. I love the food is as far the best Chinese take out place in the area. Is amazing how quick these people can cook the most delicious meal for you. They also offer delivery at a very reasonable price.

How can no one have reviewed this place yet? Mr. Lee’s has the most authentic New York Style Chinese food in Miami Lakes! They are located in a strip mall and they even look like the takeout restaurants in NYC. No tables, just chairs to sit in while you wait for your order. This is not an eat-in restaurant. Strictly takeout & delivery. I’m ok with that. It has been a while since I have eaten from here but I perfectly recall how yummy the food is! I will order from here soon and give you guys an update when I do! See? I look out for you guys… ;)
