This spot has been our go-to place for many years when we’re in the mood for some great Cuban food. Yesterday I had the Camarones enchilados. This dish was perfect, the shrimp tasted fresh, flavorful and best of all was the sauce. The sauce was«chunky» and went perfect on top of the rice. That’s just the plate I had yesterday, but I have never been disappointed with anything else I’ve ordered in the past! Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking to have an authentic Cuban meal!

Had to add a star. Decided to return for lunch one day and this time, I sat in the dining room. The wait staff were so attentive and polite. Although there was a language barrier, we still communicated very well, what with my terrible Spanish. Lol! They still understood and even helped me with my pronunciation. I ordered the lunch special Tronchos de Pescado and I don’t know what they use for that breading but it’s pretty good. The frijoles negro were on point and the maduros and the arroz blanco were typical but delicious as accompaniments. The service was fast and I was in and out in no time. Glad I decided to return.

If you are on your way back to MIA and you missed out on having Cuban food, this place would be the last chance for you to have a great Cuban food.

THEBESTCUBANFOODRESTAURANTEVER! What can I say, anything you order from here is going to be a little taste of heaven. I’ve eaten in and ordered to go from this place and have never been disappointed. The service is amazing, not once have I ever had to waive down or call for my waitress, water and drinks are refilled before the cup is even half way, the pancitos served before your meal are always freshly hot and soft served with butter on the side, there picadillo(the best I’ve ever tasted) there sandwiches’ delicious, vaca frita to die for, aguacate salad is huge and delicious. AMAZINGPLACE

Simple The BEST Cuban food in all of Miami metro area! All of the food is homemade, fresh and delicious. I recommend to anyone bored of average Cuban food. The morros are perfection. The busts artesano should win an award. I’ve had the boliche, the pescado y camarones al ajillo, the bistec de pollo empanisado, The rabo encendido was perfect. This is our go to Cuban place!

I’ve had way better Cuban sandwiches at «less authentic» places. Bread was the consistency of Wonder bread, and ham tasted like it was from a supermarket. Pork loin was ok. Maybe their other food is better.

Authentic, amazing, delicious. I had shrimp with cheese, but the fried cow that my friend got was even better. I’m planning on going back there today!

Came here for my grandfather’s birthday lunch — a group of 11 on a Wednesday. The service was SOSLOW! I mean, an hour and a half for lunch is a bit ridiculous. The waiters were completely aloof, more worried about their own personal conversations. On several occasions, we had to ask for water refills. Also had to ask for them to clean up the table and had to ask to order dessert. I ordered a churrasco, which was actually quite tough. I was disappointed since it’s usually better. I had it with a house salad, which was disgusting. They must’ve prepped it before, because it was so cold. It had to have had ice burn. I had to ask for dressing as well. The tostones were okay at best. Not really crunchy, like they’re supposed to be. I had some of y cousin’s pollo a la plancha — that was very tasty. I will say my cortadito was perfect.

This is by far my favorite cuban restaurant. No matter how many times I dine here it is always consistent on flavor and quality. Every meal has to start with the mariquitas and end with a cordadito. I love the vaca frita, the rabo encendido or the chilindron de chivo. Also la crema de malanga. If you want to try cuban cuisine head on over to Molina’s. They remodeled it over a couple of years and it is very pretty and chic.

Had not been here in quite a while and really don’t know why because the food was as good as ever. I had the stuffed hen. Small Cornish hen with Moros inside and some kind of gravy. It was to die for. The Moros in this place are the best. The mariquitas are better than any other place I’ve had in quite some time. Their mojo is delicious. I could have eaten the entire plate if mariquitas by myself. The service was awesome. Glad to see the same waiters from way back in the day. Will be back again when I’m craving some good Cuban food.

Service has really gone down the drain here. Great place for good food but service is lacking. Personal experience just 5 minutes ago, ordered food over the phone. I came in to pickup and said hello to the person behind the counter. They simply looked at me with a blank stare waiting for me speak. No hello or anything as if I owe them something for me being there. I thought you were serving the public? Anyhow, I said I had an order to pickup under my name and he just rang up the check, placed it it in front of me and grabbed the food and placed it next to the check without still saying a single word to me. At this point I wrote ZERO on the tip section. He didn’t seem to happy with the zero tip but maybe next time he will learn to have some manners when treating someone that was simply trying to pickup some food from their establishment. Who I believe is the owner was sitting write next to the waiter hay attended me and he didn’t seem care at all with the way I was being treated or not spoken to for that matter. I am not sure he’s the owner but it is only my assumption since he’s always sitting in the same spot watching movies on an iPad behind the counter not caring what else is going on around him. Summary: good food. Service not so much. Would appreciate a little more respect as a human being.

Best croquetas I’ve had in my life are made at Molinas. I go out of my way to go there just for the croquetas. The rest of the food and the service are lackluster.

Great place when craving Cuban food. Everything that I have eaten here is good. Place is clean as expected. The only problem is that the service is not good. Waiters are extremely lazy and most of the time are standing watching TV.

We were in the mood for Cuban food so, we turned to Unilocal.Found this place had a bunch of good reviews and 4 stars. Still wondering how they got those stars. First we were seated by a young man that waved us down from far away holding up fingers, very rude and he was very out of place. I ordered picadillo it was not good. Basically they took found beef dumped a butt load of cumin and tomato sauce and served it. And the service, well let’s just say I felt like we were bothering the waiter with our presence. Not going back.

It’s a nice little Cuban restaurant in Hialeah that serves the typical Cuban food. Just letting you know, it’s freezing in there, so bring a jacket! I had chicken with white rice. My typical Cuban meal! The service is fast and they never disappoint.

At one point, Molina’s was thee Cuban restaurant. The lines outside would be as long as the food was delicious. The restaurant would almost burst at the seems on the weekends. The space was small and you might be uncomfortably close to the table next to you. All that didn’t matter ’cause you knew that you would be getting great Cuban food, exceptional service and at a fair price. And then they built themselves a huge new restaurant across the street And it has been mediocre ever since The food has seemed to have lost its soul. The old kitchen must have had some built in flavor enhancer that only comes from thousand of bistecs and onions and platanos and not being cleaned 100%. Like one of those old skillets that’s half magic The price has gone up The service seems disinterested. What happened to the guys in bow ties??? Nothing last forever Shame

Such a staple in the Cuban community. This place is all class. From the moment you park your car, you know this is going to quench your Cuban food thirst. The smell of masitas de puerco in the air legitimizes everything. They have great daily specials, great pricing, waiters are always dressed in their white long sleeve shirts, black vest, and bow ties. Wonderful, friendly service always keeping everything nice and clean around the table. The food is perfect. I felt like my grandmother was making the morro in the kitchen. None of that fake chocolate syrup rice either, it’s the real deal morro. The sweet plantains are not the frozen kind, these guys are pealing and slicing them fresh. Feels comforting when I eat authentic Cuban food I grew up on and this place always gets it done right.

They take Cuban food and really step it up to cuisine. The food choices are typical of Cuban food, but very lovingly prepared when compared to the common dreary«cafeteria» food so prevalent throughout Miami. They even serve natilla! This dessert is a childhood favorite of mine, which is basically a smooth and rich custard made from fresh eggs and milk. Extremely attentive wait staff and service. An example of how responsive they are is my sister dropped her knife and before she was able to pick it up the busboy had a new one ready for her. Very friendly environment and a landmark spot I was surprised I’d never been to before. Menu is available in English for those who might feel intimidated about ordering in Hialeah. I would definitely recommend!

I’ll attempt to explain why I’m giving Molina Ranch two stars and my waiter a 15% tip. Yes, I can be harsh to a Hialeah restaurant! Like most folks in the Republic of Hialeah, I heard about how this place is better than the better known Cuban spots and our abuelas’ kitchens. Based on my experience this afternoon, I have to disagree. For starters, I was served only two rolls(not even Cuban bread, so minus one for authenticity.) Most Cuban restaurants’ baby Churrasco is large enough to not have me hungry two hours later. Yet, although my baby churrasco was tasty and the chimichurri had a nice kick to it, «tengo hambre» as I’m writing this. The sweet plantains were ripe and sweet, and the moros were a little on the dry side and small on the portion. Even the crème Brulee was unspectacular, as the crust wasn’t crispy how I like it. The kicker, and what ensured my low rating, was that my waiter didn’t come around to ask about the good until the end. Sorry Rancho Molina, vete pa’ya!
