This pizza place which recently opened had all the making of a bad time, place and over all idea. I mean a pizza place in «Choripan» territory. Well we decided like good Unilocaler’s to try a new different place. From the entrance which is between a Cigar shop and a Tattoo store, you come in the you are immediately cramped. They need more room, I mean this restaurant is smaller than my living room and I have a small house. But what the heck, we sat in what appeared to be a bar and waited to be given our menus. The out of no where ducks started to swim by, yes I said«DUCKS’. Let me explain, they have a buffet and the pizza slices come out on top of „DUCKS“ which go swimming by. So if you are seated by the bar, you can just grab the pizza slice of your choice as it goes by on top of the „DUCKS“. The idea is not bad but badly executed because the size of the location. As we waited on our menu’s the waitress/cashier/hostess informed us that we where looking at the menus. She meant the five by three index card which are just like the ones you get handed by on the streets. On it there is a 10′ personal pie for five bucks, a 14» 8 slice pie, 18″ 12 slice pie for 15 bucks, and the Family Pack for 24.99 which comes with a 2 liter of Coke, cheese breads and two spaghetti plates. That is it! We ordered and my husband had the spaghetti with no cheese and I ordered a ham personal. I will say the pizza is not bad, not the best, but not bad. I especially liked the crust which seam really thick, it kind of melts in your mouth. Its really airy. This is not the Italian pizza from NY i like, but this is Cuban pizza. The spaghetti was also not bad, not the best, but not bad and all four of us ate for 22.00. Will I go there again, perhaps.
