My go to spot for authentic Italian food. Small little place with friendly, attentive servers. Good portions of food and cheap prices. I usually get the meatball parmigiana and have tried the pizza which taste great but always end up going with their pasta.

Great tasting Pizza(pepperoni and mushrooms) and Garlic rolls. Nice friendly and family atmosphere; Will be back again… As promised I went back, this time I brought the family. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer which were delicious, even our 5 yr old who is a picky eater had them. As the main we ordered a large deluxe which was cooked to perfection, the fresh ingredients are a plus and the dough just right and a nice cold Peroni to wash it down.

I’m starting to think that people in Miami who use Unilocal are friggin’ idiots or don’t have taste buds. People saying that Di Piazza’s pizza is the best in Miami. That’s utterly CRAZY. In fact I’d have to say it’s THEWORSTTASTINGPIZZA I’ve EVERHAD in 50 years and across 13 countries and 8 States! And I’m NOT exaggerating! A frozen pizza from Walmart tastes better than what they served us at Di Piazza Pizzeria. Made us wait FIFTY minutes for a pizza that arrived burnt and tasted like cheap Chinese garlic bought at Sam’s! Horrible horrible pizza, terrible service. Unfit to be considered an Italian restaurant! My GF and I will NEVER eat there again.

The food is good. But the last two times I’ve been here they overcook the garlic bread. It’s too hard. I asked for new ones and guess what… the second batch was overcooked also.

Pizza was delicious, as were the garlic rolls. My server was very friendly and was on top of it, even though I went during lunch. It’s priced in a way that’s mostly reasonable but they should lower some of their menu items to fit the area. The décor is a bit dated, but no one really goes to a restaurant for that, do they?

Been here twice and will never return. The pizza is ok but the service is horrendous! When we were done with our meal the server refused to take the dirty dishes since she claimed it wasn’t her job. Very poor customer service. Also the garlic rolls are about the size of a quarter. I don’t recommend this place.

The best talian restaurant in Hialeah. It’s warm, cozy and family oriented. The food is great and the service is amazing. You have to have the white pizza, it’s amazing! They make the food really fast so the wait is minimal.

So I love Italian food, and I was recommended to go to Di Piazzas by a friend that told me it was the best Italian restaurant around! Let me tell you he was not wrong! Delicious pizza and pasta that didn’t feel too heavy on the stomach. Definitely recommended!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The restaurant could use a little interior updates but as far as the food is concerned, this is the best pizzeria in Hialeah. The reason this is a 4 star instead of is because of the side salad’s lack of freshness. The ingredients were bland and did not seem very fresh Overall I think everyone should give Di Piazza a chance.

This place is a little hidden gem in the middle of Hialeah. It’s been there for as long as I can remember. If you haven’t tried the pizza here… you are missing out. The crust on the pizza and the sauce is perfect. It has a classic italian motif. The staff is friendly and the service is always great. It’s a great family spot but also good for a date. They offer all your classic italian dishes but the pizza is my favorite. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for and the portions are large.

This place has been around for as long as I could remember! It was my go to lunch place in my HML days and beyond. Love their pizza! I will admit I don’t really venture to their other menu items… beyond appetizers. Their pasta can get a bit pricey but years ago I did order a lasgna and it was tasty. By far my favorite pizza joint in good o Hialeah! Crust is always crispy, sauce recipe is on point and just the amount of cheesy goodness! The simple cheese pizza is delicious but the bruscutta pizza is amazing. Family owned & operated, friendly staff

By far the Best pizza in Hialeah. Feels like your’re in moms house. Nothing fancy just awesome pizza must be the reason they’ve been here for over 40 years. Will be back ASAP!

First — the food was AWESOME! I had the alfredo with Shrimp, which were as big as my fist! The service was GREAT — typical big, loud italian family place — Loved it! A big shout to our servers Bridget and Kim — they did a great job taking care of us and explaining the rich history of this place. Note.its tucked away in a shopping strip, but WELL worth stopping in.

The look to this restaurant can throw you off. It’s very old & a bit worn down. But i do have to say the pizza was tasty! We had the white pizza which comes with ricotta, and i was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We also had the cheese ravioli with alfredo… that was not so great. The ravioli was a little bit TOO al dente & the sauce was watered down. They charged me $ 15.50 for a dish of 6 ravoli. Was not worth it one bit. They are a bit overpriced for the quality they serve, I would go back only for the pizza.

Let me touch on something I mentioned in my last review: They no longer deliver. It’s a shame, they used to. Here’s my issue with Di Piazza. They are charging you South Beach prices for things that they don’t make themselves. For example, for these prices in Hialeah, at least have someone back there making your own pasta. Charging the diner an exorbitant price for a dish of pasta to make-up the cost of ordering it from Italy, just doesn’t cut it in my book. The least you could do for these ridiculous prices is have a shirtless Italian Stud come out on a horse to bring the food to the table. I paid $ 13.95, one of their specials of the day, for a heaping bowl of Pasta Florentine. That price is «cute» if you’re dining in Brickell or South Beach not in Hialeah. If you want to charge those prices at least tell us you’re back there making your own pasta. Oh yeah, they forgot to include one key ingredient in this special, spinach. I’m issuing two stars instead of one because if you know me, you know very well I have never said the food is bad here. Au contraire, it’s very tasty. Thing is, for half your prices I would’ve gotten a better dish not too far from here. Even Olive Garden down the street serves a better dish for much less. By the way, the broccoli in my pasta was not as «fresh» as you claim for your produce to be. Check the temperature on your freezer. My suggestion to the owners of this restaurant, go to the back of your menu and reread your Family History. What you are serving today is not what is stated in your story. This wasn’t always the case, though. You were known for a very long time around here as «THEBEST» at par with Figaro’s down the street. Figaro’s closed, you remained. Learn something from that and go back to what you were doing. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * This isn’t a joke, it’s been on the news and NOT their fault. If you dine here, sit away from the windows. People have driven into this restaurant before. Not just once, neither. Again, NOTTHEIRFAULT! * This restaurant has been here since 1975. Take some time to walk around and look at the pictures on the wall of when Di Piazza was Di Piazza. You know? * Languages — italiano, español/English. Italian owned and operated. You will have no problem if you don’t speak italiano. * Make sure you order your pizza«well-done» to get the best flavor. * Garlic rolls have always been superb here. You have the option of ordering them with or without garlic. Get them with garlic. * Try their Tiramisu. I tried several times to find-out what is actually homemade here. I was told the bread and the desserts. I was starting to make her uncomfortable with all my questions. I’ll let someone else Unilocal that for you. Will I be back here? Absolutely not with Olive Garden walking distance from here and other restaurants that do make their own food. Get your act together Di Piazza, people are noticing and you’ve been in my neighborhood too long and would hate to see you leave.

Did the Bergin Hunt & Fish Club move to Hialeah? You have the pictures on the wall, you have the string lights and the stuffed fish on the wall courtesy of «Sal The Italian Fisherman». At least when I went, you also had the uncrowded ambiance and who looked to be the owner chatting at a table with someone else. I love flicks about«The Family» so if it were for the ambiance alone I’d give them 5 stars. The chicken parm would also rank in the 5 star category. HUGE chicken steak, fresh and with nice helpings of pasta and a rich marinara sauce(here’s looking at you chain competitor next door with your smaller chicken and extra charge for added marinara). I hungrily devoured my plate and had just enough space for the crispy and sweet canoli. Why am I being like Sammy Gravano and betraying it down to 3 stars? The pasta fagioli, while generously apportioned, seemed to lack seasoning in the broth. It didn’t have the rich taste I’m used to from other Italian restaurants. Also, what Italian restaurant doesn’t have the only vegetarian dish I eat(caprese salad)? While my waitress was friendly and did check up on me a. couple of times, the owner sitting in the table next to mine couldn’t be bothered for a simple hello when I was complementing the main course and dessert.
