Pennolino’s Pizzeria

Great pizzeria ! Great service! Gotta try the spaghetti with meat sauce. Grandpa pie is on the money, most amazing linguine with clam sauce (white or red) on Long Island. Also the best grilled chicken Caesar salad too. Try it, you’ll see.

I would give it ZERO STARS if I could!
Worst customer service ever! Just walked out of it (with no pizza!) after waiting at the counter 15 minutes to be served. No other customers in the store, 3 people behind the counter: one making calzones, one talking to her and one right in front of me on the phone. The one on the phone finally acknowledged my presence just to immediately get another call after which she got right into adding the orders, while I was still standing there, waiting…
We’ve been buying our pizza every week for years at Pizza Place and Marinara (great places!) and we just wanted to try this place. I guess we’ll never know if they make good pizza because I will never go in there again, ever!

Disgusting. Can you give zero stars? Better pizza in Florida! Let’s see, Gino’s, marinara, pizza place, all within a mile and blow this place COMPLETELY out of the water. I wouldn’t eat here again if you paid me. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and skip dinner. If that’s not enough staff is slow, rude and regularly blocks Chase atm drive up with pos cars. Horrible.

After a long day with the family on the island, we decided to give Pennolinos another try on the way home (quick and easy dinner for the kids). I ordered three regular slices and watched as the young woman behind the counter took the last three slices off the tray that appeared to have been reheated at least once before our order. When she took them out of the oven a few minutes later, they were destroyed-​burnt, discolored (bright orange is a clear sign they’ve been burnt to a crisp) and clearly inedible. When I relayed that they appeared burnt and over cooked, we weren’t offered another three slices, just a blank stare. All this while one of the owners continued to stand by, staring at us and, doing nothing. I asked for my money back and headed further down the road and spent my money at their competition. Nothing has changed in this place– owners are still nasty and arrogant-​food quality is pathetic –what pizzeria doesn’t have at least one house pie ready to go or, in the oven– and tells a customer the same? I wouldn’t bother to waste the gas to try them again– spend your money somewhere else– it couldn’t be any worse than this on a late Saturday afternoon.

You GOTTA try the VODKA pizza here or pennolinos slices with fresh mozzarella. Regular pizza here is just so so. They are pricey but worth the specialty. I have driven from Huntington before for the vodka pie.

I spent several years of my youth near this unit — I used to come here when it was Two Roses Pizza. I haven’t been in many years and wanted to get some real NY pizza made in NY — it was a mistake to come here.
One, the two guys working behind the counter were indifferent almost the whole time (there were no other customers at 5 or so on a weekday). Until I gave them a small tip (lot of friends who work in food service) did one of them cheer up, say thanks, etc. I realize I have never been there after the ownership/​name change, but still.
Two, the pizza wasn’t very good. I have had a lot of NY pizza and in all seriousness, there is a place I go to in California that is much better than Pennolino’s. California! The dough wasn’t right and the sausage wasn’t tasty. Extremely disappointing. I won’t go back and I won’t recommend.

Stopped in yesterday for a buffalo chicken slice and a regular slice. Was not impressed. Regular slice was kinda stale and the buffalo was not that great either. Place is very small and the counter girl looked like i pissed her off making my order the guy making the pies didn’t even acknowledge. Thankfully i don’t live in this area. Needless to say i will not be returning. Why is it so hard to get a decent buffalo slice?

This is my local take out place. Friendly people, good pizza, their grandma pies are excellent. We get heroes and entrees as well, and it’s always solid. I agree with others about prices, but that is everywhere.

This place is solid. They make good pizza. It’s not the best pizza in the area but it’s the best place that delivers in the Lynbrook area. We order here frequently

The buffalo chicken and the salad slices are delicious. I would like to try the potato bacon slice it looks yummy as well. Happy and friendly people!

I can’t even believe I’m going to rate a Mc Donald’s but I have to say this is by far the worst one. They never have the yogurt parfaits, only two left every time I go. The other thing is if you don’t tell them the fries must be hot or you will be returning them the fries you will get are cold and greasy. They actually get annoyed when you ask the fries please be hot. Then when you go to pay your handed change that ends up on the floor. I think I will pass on this Mc Donald’s. You often wonder if these places actually read reviews or even care.

Wasn’t sure how to really categorize this place after my first visit, I wasn’t too impressed and I gave it another shot. The pizza here really isn’t that good, it might be because most likely several hours have passed since the pie was made and then reheated.
Just very unimpressive for the greater NYC area, definitely not even close to what you’d get in Brooklyn or Manhattan. It might be different if you are ordering a whole pizza, but honestly I would be more likely to order from a chain like Domino’s than make a third attempt here.

By far the best pizzeria I’ve ever been too… Great food… And great, friendly service

Pennolino’s is our local pizza joint for take out.
They make a very good pie and we are fan’s of their heros as well. One of my favorite things on the menu is the Pint of Vodka Sauce. We boil up a pound of our own pasta and order just the sauce.
Delivery is fast. Foods always hot and staff is really nice.
When we first moved to Valley Stream, most people referred us to Ancona. But we find that Pennolino’s is far more flavorful.
A solid Long Island Pizzeria.
