Three Thai Sushi

Came here for a delicious lunch! The restaurant is spotless & looks newly renovated. The food was delicious!!! We tried the veggie spring rolls, curry puffs, and pad Thai. So yummy! Can’t wait to come back! Reasonably priced & very friendly staff.

Nice unassuming place with generous portions. Spotlessly clean. Good value. I had the Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai noodles. Both were good.

Came here on Wednesday around 1pm to grab lunch with a couple of people. Very close to where I work.
The place wasn’t that busy, maybe a couple of other people.
We ordered their spicy lobster roll and the Rainbow roll. They were both pretty good. Couple of us got the bento box which is on their lunch special menu. I got mine with pad thai. The bento boxes are a good deal. They have 4 different types of bento boxes with different options in them. They have few other items on their lunch special menu for a good price.
Good spot to grab lunch. It’s conveniently located for me from work so I will probably return to get lunch.

We order from Three Thai a few times a month! It’s the best sushi in town and the staff is always friendly and efficient!

Had some nagiri and some pad Thai. Both were delish! Wait staff was kind and effective. Sushi chef is a cool guy too!

Once again, we were not disappointed at dinner tonight. We started with spring rolls and a sushi roll, followed by a delicious soup with deep flavors (lemongrass, cilantro, Thai chilis). For an entrée, I went with my old standby of yellow curry with chicken and my friend had a red curry duck dish. We both were had no room for dessert due to nice-​sized portions. I’m always surprised that the restaurant is not crowded…

Have tried the Thai food twice, thought it was not particularly tasty (bland + oily) and also overpriced for lunch. I skip lunch with coworkers when they go here, but hey, they keep going back, so maybe you’ll like it.

This place was excellent! After hitting the ground running on a business trip, with very little knowledge of the area, this place sure hit the spot. I totally got my fat boy on as I ordered a second order of rolls ones I realized how good they were.

This is a terrible restaurant, sushi is not the best my wife was still trying to figure out how they can call the eel roll an eel roll. Everything was forgettable and overpriced.

Ordered shrimp pad Thai for take our dinner. The taste was average, nothing amazing about the flavor. The staff seemed very friendly.

Used to love coming here for a quick bite at lunch, but just ordered delivery of kamikaze roll and beef pad see ew. The spicy tuna didn’t taste good at all and the pad see ew had no flavor. The spring rolls and avocado rolls were tasty, but kinda hard to mess those up. Total bill was about $ 50 so kind of upsetting to pay that much and not be happy with the results.

I am a sushi fanatic and a tough critic. I needed corporate catering for 15 people to be delivered in the Herndon/​Reston area at noon and they delivered a couple platters on time and the sushi was absolutely mouth-​watering. The sushi is as good as you’re going to get, the service was excellent and on time, and they emailed me a receipt for my expense report.
Today I returned to visit the same company and they brought up how much they loved the sushi and asked the name of the restaurant. I very highly recommend this restaurant for business catering and I’m sure it’s great at the restaurant as well.

This is one of my frequented restaurants. At one point I was here nearly twice a week! The employees are very friendly and eager to please. As a vegan I found them very knowledgable about their menu items and very responsive to my questions.
The fried tofu appetizer is always deliciously crispy without the tofu being gooey– the sauce is craaaaazy good. I usually follow with their vegetable rolls and miso soup. The prices are reasonable and everything tastes freshly made.

First time try and it’s a delivery: it was delivered fast, more or less 30mins. Foods are delicious. My husband ordered the Bento box #3. He was satisfied. It’s in a styrofoam container. More smart to order the bento compared to what I ordered the dragon rolls. I couldn’t find and taste the eel inside and it seem small. Disappointing! I also ordered the sticky rice with mango. It’s yummy but a bit pricey for the product.
Overall, foods are delicious and healthier for a delivery. Just a bit too pricey for the portion you get!

Had this place for take out tonight while babysitting my nephews
I got the avocado salad, and whatever the dressing is, was NOT good. It actually ruined the rest of my meal :/​
The chicken teriyaki was okay. The meat was cooked deliciously, but the sauce didn’t have enough flavor to it (it’s pretty bland). Veggies were yummy!
The kamakazi, and fire roll were good, but nothing special to it

Eh. Maybe it has some potential. I ordrded my usual thai steamed dumplings and panang beef. Opted for no broccoli and double beef with white rice. I selected the mild option for the online order system, and maybe that’s where I went wrong. It was mostly coconut cream from what I could tell, not nearly enough spice. The beef was really really tender which was good. The dumplings had a weird after taste to them which I just couldn’t pick out. Decent place and I’ll probably be back to try it again and just go with a spicier option for the panang curry. I’ll pick some other type of dumpling though.

I had bookmarked this place for some time and finally had a chance to try out for lunch recently. I must admit though I am rather disappointed. When you enter, it’s small/​cute restaurant with typical Thai religious decors and random items here and there. Although there was no one greeting and once we sat down, service was prompt. Lady seemed nice and attentive enough. They have this enormous menu with extra large fonts along with giant photos for no good reasons, I was dying laughing as I have never seen a menu so large in my life. Anyway their lunch specials are well priced. An entrée, a spring roll and soda/​iced tea for $ 10 (no substitute and no refill on drinks). We ordered chicken pad Thai and chicken green curry. I do think the portion was rather small compared to other places I’ve been. Pad Thai noodles were rather plain, didn’t have much of taste and was very mushy. Green curry dish was small but veggies were fresh. You can find a lot of Thai restaurants in the area that are really good, and I would personally won’t return here. it’s not because it was that horrible but I’ve been to better places.

I was in the area to get some things from moms … And for hungry and decided to try this place … The place is a nice spacious Thai restaurant with a lot of seating. I got the drunken noodles and thought they were Average at best. Nothing amazing. Too many onions and tomatoes in it… It was fresh tasting but not very tasty … Don’t think il be going back !

Woah! This place was pretty tasty they have a large selection of sushi, Thai food, and even some Vietnamese food.
While the overall restaurant is good, and the food is good the thing that makes this place great for me was the service. The people there were Soo friendly! And more importantly willing to serve us. You see what had happened was– we came in at 3pm right as they were closing for lunch. But we didn’t realize that at the time, because the girl just seated and served us and never said anything! It wasn’t until afterward I realized that they should have been closed.
I’ve worked at a fair share of family owned restaurants like that, and I know it would be rare if we did that for people, especially if The kitchen was supposed to be on break too. Great job three Thai sushi.

Came in at 2:30PM on a Saturday and had the whole place to myself. Atmosphere was contemporary and sophisticated with easy jazz music. I sat up at the bar and ordered the Chef’s Special Roll (following anonymous U’s advice.) No beer on tap, but a good selection of bottles. The chef gave me a couple of pieces of nigiri sushi while he made the Chef’s Special Roll. The Chef’s Special Roll was balanced, a little spicy, and well-​presented. The proportions were perfect. I’d have it again.
The waitress struck up a conversation amiably. Good staff, good quality, good prices, good ambiance… I’d come back.
