If you are fond of Indian Style Chinese cuisine, then this place is one stop for you… I have had one of the best Indo Chinese food here. Burnt garlic fried rice, vegetable dumplings, and chilly garlic noodles is a must try

Beware of this place as they are dishonest businessmen. Compromise on Quality and Portion. Just like they do in India I am a resident of Herndon VA and going to Bamboo Garden probably once a month and do some carry outs. What bother me is the cheatring attitude of the restaurant. IT happened to me twice that the amount and teh quality of the food I got from them in carry outs are worse and worse. Today I ordered Chicken in hot garlic sauce and found a very few chicken pieces floating in a liquid soup. I called them and gave an earful but who cares. Fool me once shame on you but fool me twice… I am not going their anymore.

This was the worst food I have ever had. Everything was super salty, the sauce was goopy, and the ingredients were not fresh. We read other reviews and ordered chili chicken, chicken manchurian, and spicy basil fried rice. It was awful-and the spices they use don’t enhance the food flavor. They make it spicy for the sake of it being spicy! Blech! The place is not cheap. Save your money and go to the many other wonderful options in Herndon. One plus(which is why I gave 1 star) is for the service. That was good, despite what other reviewers experienced.

Food and service here deserve 5 stars. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. I have also taken food to go and have always had the same great quality. The manager Diwakar very nice guy very professional and also accommodating to a friends special request the one time I was there with a group

The food is good at the restaurant. My primary complaint is with the Cocktails there. I have ordered Lime Margarita last night. The drink they served didn’t look like Margarita and definitely didn’t taste like Margarita. It is possibly the worst Margarita I ever had. My friend ordered Mojito. It was also really bad. So lesson learned: Don’t order cocktails at this restuarant.

I’ve been here a few times, and the food has always been great. I love the décor as well. In my past experiences the service was mediocre, but not this time! The bartender Amit was amazing, literally amazing! I usually don’t sit at the bar, but this was a nice experience. Great energy and upbeat. That’s what you want to see in customer service. We had the szechuan dumplings and the chili honey chicken. Good stuff, totally recommend this place.

I drove all the way from Baltimore, because I heard that this is the so far best Indian-Chinese place to eat, so wanted to give it a shot! Awesome place! They are pretty busy, so I’d suggest if you want to dine in book the table in advance. So far this is the place where I had good and spicy Indian-Chinese food. Also the staff is pretty friendly and I’ll recommend and visit this place again!

So, we ordered food for pick up. I was excited about indo-Chinese dinner for tonight since I dnt enjoy any restaurant food in my pregnancy. Whole order didn’t taste like we used to go there n eat or ordered food for pick up before. Veg manchow soup was thick n it had very weird taste so couldn’t handle it(usually that’s my fav from the menu). Veg Hakka noodles n fried rices after having first bite felt like I should refry it n make it little tastier. It was bland. Super upset with my meal. N very disappointed with restaurant.

Come here only if you must. I am not sure which is worse, the food or the service. I will go with service since we did not try everything on the menu. Once we arrived, there were a large number of people waiting to be seated. No one had attended to them. We join their ranks and waited. and waited. The servers saw us but no one came forward to greet us, seat us, or ask us wait. After waiting for a while, someone finally did come to talk to us. We were asked if we had written our names down in a sheet they had at the waiting area. Anyway, we did finally get seated. This is going to be a long review if I mentioned each and every way the service was really poor. Basically, we could not get anyone to come take our order. The servers run around like headless chicken. We were served our appetizers but had no utensils/silverware to eat with. We asked our server to bring us some to no effect. We then asked another server and he brought us some so we could eat. Finally, as we were finishing our meals, our server brought out some silverware. At that point all we could do is laugh about our experience. Food is nothing to rave about. The garlic chilli noodles are basically noodles in some chilli garlic ketchup(if you would like some, they sell them at Lotte). The drum sticks of heaven were previously fried/cooked and microwaved before it was brought out. I know because the bone was still cold while the meat was warm. Anyway, as I said at the beginning, come here if you must, if you like being ignored and having to wait a long time for some pretty ordinary food. Should have stayed home and had some cereal instead.

I have been here a couple of times and this place hasn’t disappointed me. I tried chicken 65 and it was delicious but a tad spicy(For my american friends). Chicken schezwan entrée is something that I tried as well which was not as spicy as chicken 65 and was good. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants try good indo Chinese food in this area, as the other restaurants in this vicinity that claims to be indo chineese restaurants are not nearly as good as this one

Came to lunch. Ordered crispy chili chicken with chicken fried rice and egg drop soup. Enjoyed every bit of it. Nothing to complaint. Great service food came in time and very happy for the price I paid for the food. Will be back for sure.

They got the best happy hour in the whole virginia I guess !!!. $ 2 beer and$ 4 wine .cant match the price even in gas station. I am sure the Chef who designed the happy hour menu has no clue about food costing !!!

I am an Indian who has lived and traveled around in India eating indo Chinese food from Mumbai to New Delhi. Only one word can describe this place… BLAND. Out of the 6 dishes we ordered only one would be considered edible, the Chicken 65. The manchow soup just sour, luke warm, and murky with no hint of ginger garlic or chilies. Both the rice and burnt garlic noodle dishes were flavorless, lacking basic seasonings and felt like I was eating plain boiled rice and noodles. Its competitor Masala Wok isn’t a stand out star by any means but at least their dishes are seasoned and somewhat more flavorful. I don’t know why it’s so hard to get decent indo Chinese food in the DC area. Hopefully the restaurant makes some serious adjustments in the kitchen and goes back to the basics by first limiting their menu and really improving the quality and flavors of core indo Chinese dishes. If an Indo Chinese restaurant cant get the humble manchow soup down, it has zero chance of hitting the mark on other dishes. Pros: chicken 65(only item to save this from a 1 star review and not enough to make me come back though), quick service — I am guessing the mgmt took all the bad service comments and made some adjustments; hopefully they do the same w food quality and flavor bc good service doesn’t replace sub par food, nice ambiance. Cons: food(if you need 5 different sauces at the table to enhance the bland food, in my opinion you’ve already failed).

Gone there 10plus times so far. Food and service are getting worst day by day. Disappointed. It used to be pretty good but now the quality(food & service) are deteriorating.

Ordered take out as we went for lunch to a neighboring restaurant. I’d been to Inchin in Raleigh and Chicago earlier. The one in Raleigh was outstanding. Remembering the food from my earlier visits I was delighted when I saw one had opened in Virginia. Had to try now! My order: Chilli potatoes– very good. Chilli chicken — outstanding. Not to be missed dish Fish in schezwan sauce– ordered this on recommendation from the staff. Didn’t like it. I can’t wait to visit again and try other dishes from the menu.

If you are craving for the authentic INDOCHINESE food then this is best bet for you in DC Metro region.(I am an Indian and I know what is authentic indo chinese). Besides a couple of dishes like chilli paneer, hot and sour soup, american chopsey, etc whatever I have tried until now was indo chinese. I have already been to this place twice in a month. Veg manchurian, hakka noodles, chicken sweet corn soup and schezwan momos were very good. A word of advice would be that their schezwan sauce and chilli garlic noodles is very hot and salty and for some wierd reason the use it even in dishes which do not require it like Chilli Chicken and Chilli Paneer. So pay close attention to those pepper signs on the menu.

Outstanding food. The shrimp and pepper is outstanding and with ½ price appetizers you can’t go wrong. The Mongolian beef is very tasting. The dragon fire chicken is so tender.
