One of the worst place to have fried rice. I ordered chicken fried rice. It’s just oil and very few chicken pieces. For $ 10 bugs its not worth at all. Just quantity NO quality. Earlier I tried briyanni and some kabob from here. Bad as well.

This place has gone down-hill. Badly. While the concept – fast casual Chinese-Indian fusion – is a very sound one, execution is seriously lacking. I have had decent meals here in the past. But… On one recent visit, they refused to prepare a dish for my wife as she requested and as described in the menu and instead insisted she order it with chicken. The reason was obvious after a few bites. They were reusing day-old chicken fried rice. Ewwwwewww… Honestly, this was on NYE so I can understand that large catering orders were a higher priority than someone coming in with a Groupon. Still, they should close their doors rather than making customers order leftovers. Stay away.

Quite pricey. It used to be a very good place. But the service sucks now, prices have gone up, quantity and quality have come down. Its disappointing to see a place come down to this, a place which you used to advertise quite a bit.

Not bad for an Indian+Asian fast food joint. I won’t call it a hit, but it serves the purpose when you want variety.

I have no idea why the reviews have been bad, maybe they have a new cook know, because this place is just plain GOOD. I mean, it is sit down food but fast food. We ordered Manchua. Soup, it was probably the best Asian soup we have had yet. Then Gobi Manchuria. Yumm. Then tandoori chicken wrap, with rice and dipping sauce. Then I had Hakka. Noodle bowl. Very good place to go for good fast food

Chicken mughlai is one such dish that i tried once and have been a fan of that since then. But apart from that all the other dishes were just average and nothing special to write about them. Gets pretty crowded during the afternoon on weekdays.

Food here has been great, we came here at least once a month. Unfortunately, the owners recently started to decrease the portions and kept the pricing the same. I dont think we’ll be returning anymore!

Fast casual restaurant featuring pan-Asian cuisine. Sauces were not quite right today. Lamb curry too salty. Spinach paneer not green?!?

Quality was down at the prime time– Saturday night. Hakka noodle was too much vinegeri. Kids gummy Noddles were also bad. Very little chicken. This is my last time here not going back. Oh and this is far from an Info Chinese.

The good has been consistently good, chicken lollipops are great and so are all the other foods. Staff is usually short of hands and overworked, they need a few more front desk staff especially in the weekends. The present staff does a good job, but the wait time is getting longer.

I had higher hopes for this place. .. a mix of Indian, Thai, Asian fast casual setting with to-go options. It was just ok all around, I thought it took a little long to get my food since they were empty and I did not think it was the cleanest place I’ve been. The food was again ok. While the employees appeared to be of Indian decent the food did not match that in my opinion for what I’ve had at other places. I thought the spices were off. Oh well. ..

I enjoy the butter chicken, I think it is tasty and the chicken lollipops are awesome. Service tends to be okay, at times the wait can be long for take out.

Usually go with the spicey lamb curry which I really like. Today I had th r Thai pepper with chicken which is very tasty and spring rolls. Both of there were a 1st and I wasn’t disappointed.

My team took me for lunch here a few weeks ago and suggested that I get the chicken 65 since I said I wanted chicken and I liked spice. I’d never had it, so I was in. I asked for garlic naan(yum) and no rice. Since garlic naan is 50 cents more, they took that off since I didn’t get rice. Awesome. The chicken 65 is spicy, flavorful, and as juicy as chicken breast pieces can be. It also came with a cup o’ butter masala which I promptly dunked my naan into. SO good. Nice and creamy and tasty. I worked late Tuesday and didn’t want to hit traffic so I figured I should eat — and I’d been waiting to go back to Masala Wok for more chicken 65, naan, and sauce. This time I got the plain naan which was also good. For some fast food Indian, I’m pretty impressed. I’m just sad there isn’t a Masala Wok near me so I can try more of their items more frequently.

Disappointed with the food quality and service. Wouldn’t recommend it. Used to go to the one in Austin, Texas and that was far better. Myob get a feeling as if the staff or the owner doesn’t care about improving it. Staff isn’t very friendly. Not good at making recommendations which I feel is very important thing for a restaurant to have. The waiters or cashiers at these places are like sales people but if they don’t know enough abt the food than the business loses money because of that reason.

What I like about this place: — good variety of Indo-Chinese fusion food — spacious interior — fast service — reasonably tasty food but nothing memorable either

I was a bit torn on whether I would give this place an overall rating of 2.5 stars or 3 star. After much deliberation with myself(I’m not crazy just so we’re clear… lol) I’ve decided to give this place an overall rating of 3 stars. When I entered the establishment I immediately think Pei Wei. I mean the dine-in structure/process and also the look and feel is pretty similar to Pei Wei with some subtle differences. Now, the cause for my indecisiveness with the rating was due to the fact that Masala Wok specializes in three entrée types and they are, «Casual, Asian, & Indian» entrees, and on this particular visit I opted to go with the Asian experience, which I ended up ordering the sesame chicken dish. Now my dish wasn’t bad but there wasn’t any WOW factor either. So when I was asked by co-workers how my meal was I just replied, «It’s okay, but I’ve had better». As well as thinking that maybe I should have probably picked something. So with that I wasn’t sure if 3 stars was warranted but at the same time my food wasn’t really bad or anything, it was just that the dish I decided to go with didn’t have anything special about it. All in all I haven’t written off Masala Wok and I absolutely do plan on going back however I think the next time I venture off to this establishment I’m going to try something else and depending on that outcome will determine if my review update will be for the better, the worse, or the same.
