Paisanos Pizza & Pasta

My boyfriend and I have been there twice together and had Gracie as our server, and couldn’t have been happier on both visits. We had salads and her recommendations on the pizza were perfect! The first time a white pizza, today a pastrami pizza, YUM! We will definitely be back, the food and service were great!

Everyone coins the phrase «New York Style» pizza. I can tell you first hand half of them are wrong because my family is from New York. New York Style doesn’t just me flat. all pizza is unless it is deep dish. This place has that crust that New York is famous for. I love getting a slice from here because it really does remind me of New York style pizza.

Great spot and great pizza. We came in hungry and left full. Gracie provide wonderful service.

Paisano’s has lost their glory. It had been a good while since I had gone back to eat there. We used to love this place and we were excited to visit and eat there again. My family had an early dinner today and we witnessed bad service and the worst part is bad pizza. The pizza used to be very good. The pizza and pizza sauce were bland. It was edible but it definitely is not what it used to be. The waitress was rude and short with customers. The booth we sat at had a huge tear. It’s gross when you are wearing shorts. How hard is it to buy some black duck tape and fix the booth. It’s better than nothing. So disappointed. I hope they start caring about their restaurant and bring it back to its glory.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while!!! Had to work an event today and my crew was hungry… mark attended me and was super nice and AWESOME the service here was great but most importantly the pizza was delicious! Also while I waited Nick was attentive and friendly. Great staff, food, and experience. Most definitely will be coming thanks guys two thumbs up oh and Nick is super cute ladies cute staff

So disappointed tonight. Paisano’s had recently become our go-​to pizza place. Ordered at 6:15 with a promise of delivery at 7. Called at 7:15… «Well, I don’t see any any pizzas waiting or a ticket for your order, so it must be out for delivery.» Call back at 7:30… «The driver just left 5 minutes ago.» Call back at 8pm and got some BS about not being able to find our meatball sandwich and that the driver is out and can’t be contacted. (I’m sure he doesn’t have a cell phone…)
When you make a mistake and forget to put an order in, just tell the truth. Say you’re sorry and FIX IT. It’s 9:10 pm now and the call from the manager I was promised hasn’t come. Disappointing customer service to say the LEAST.

Great stop for a quick meal, especially if you want to minimize food time and spend more time at the beach. Great service, good selection of pizzas by the pie or slice, hoagies, and pastas. The pizza was delicious– thin crispy crust, bubbling cheese, and lots of different toppings. I had a slice of the pepperoni, although I regret not venturing out and trying one of the combos! You can also grab a beer while you’re waiting for your slice to heat up. Nice option in an area that seems overrun with overpriced bar food.

Amazing pizza and pasta! Fast delivery and good service. This is my new go to pizza place, definitely better and more fresh than dominos or any of the other local pizza spots. :)

The owner sent me a message apologizing and offering to make amends, so I stopped by here on Easter Sunday to speak to him. He was very friendly and apologetic, and asked me what I wanted. Made me a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza on the house. Offered me a beer as well (I took a boxed water). He also talked about how they are upgrading the interior, giving it a more modern and clean feel. I could see they were in the process and it should be done right about now actually.
He made everything cool on a personal level, and I appreciate that. Took the pizza home and it was very good. The crust wasn’t as soft as I remembered, that is really the only thing I could find at fault. Everything else was solid. Love their sauce.
If I’m ever in Hermosa I’m still coming to Paisanos for pizza.

My all time local favorite… Located in the heart of Downtown Hermosa Beach just a block from the beach, this is the best choice for pizza, pasta.,…Paisanos is a staple for late night party goers in Hermosa Beach. Stays open after the bars close down and offers great slices of NY style pizza to starved and drunk crowd.
Coming from the East Coast, I’m very picky about pizza and really only like NY style pizza-​thin slices that you can fold and eat and this pizza here can give any pizza in NYC a run for their money! Great crust and just the right amount of sauce and cheese.
You can order pizza by the slice if you like :-) and I also love love the meatballs and can’t never get enough.
Come and experience this gem and you will NOT be disappointed.

Saved my belly both New Years at 2AM and a few weekends ago. Have only gone late at night/​early in the morning, but their pizzas are amazing. I have had a mushroom and sausage pizza and also a bianca with sausage, which were both amazing.

The best pizza option in Hermosa Beach. The delivery is quick and the pizza is very good. I also really like their dine in services. On many a weekend night, this was either the first or last stop during a night out. They have a decent selection of bottled beer and the prices for slices and pies are more than reasonable.
I wish I had an option half as good near my current house in MD :(

While visiting some friends, we decided to go the easy route and order in some pizza. I was told that Paisano’s was the best NY-​style pizza in the area, so I was sold.
Being a busy Saturday night, they warned us that delivery would take at least an hour, but picking up should only be 35 – 40 minutes. Easy decision. :)
So — on to the food:
The garlic and cheese stuffed bread is amazing. One of my friends is lactose intolerant and went for seconds — that level of amazing.
The pepperoni pie was okay, but the bottom crust was just a bit too floppy and really should have been left in the oven for just a few more minutes.
The sausage calzone was the biggest let-​down. It’s massive — stuffed with a *lot* of cheese, but really undercooked. The sausage inside was also ground up and I gave up on it after finding multiple balls of gristle and fat in the sausage filler.
I’m keen to give some of their speciality pies a try, and maybe the chicken calzone, but the biggest draw for me would be their cheese bread. That is absolutely worth the trip.

This is a nice spot to go to when you’re at the pier! Especially after you’ve hit up a bar or two nearby. They are open late.
I always get their pizza with pasta on it.

A must have after a night of drinking on the Pier! Can’t really go wrong with some New York style pizza to sober up before you get in the cab or Über ride!
Sober or buzzin, slices from Paisanos always hits the spot. Price point is ON POINT… a little under $ 4 a slice and it always comes loaded with toppings!
Lines can get kinda long and you definitely will meet some interesting characters while you wait for your food. Luckily, they get out the orders pretty quick!

Pros:
Good cheap pizza. You can get a large 18″ pie for under $ 20. True New York pizza that you can fold, and has a great crust.
Cons:
RUDE SERVICE.
For some reason, the guy had trouble swiping my card. He tried four times, and hands it back to me. I ask him if he can just punch in the numbers, and he rolls his eyes, let’s out a sigh, and punches in the 16 numbers necessary for him to take my money. I was sorry to inconvenience him, but what did he expect me to do? Just say forget it and walk out without my pizza? Jeesh.
There were other parts of my experience today that just bummed me out, it’s too much to write. Overall, let’s just say that I felt like they didn’t want me there.
I get the pizza back to the office, and it was cut in the most haphazard way. None of the slices were cut all of the way through, and it was cut so unevenly that some slices were really small, and others were huge. We had to use our dinky plastic knives to cut a slice off, which made the toppings and cheese slide all over the place.
WHAT THE HECK!
Never coming back here again. This should be a one star review, but I gave 2 stars since the pizza is good, and it is cheap. Still, I will NEVER EVER be back.
