I used Pinnacle and Dave was my broker. Unlike the other reviewer that mentioned Sunwest, a different lender approved my loan. The rate was a full percentage point lower than my current rate and better than what any big bank such as Bank of America, Citibank, Chase, or US Bank could offer.

Dave quickly responded to all my emails and phone calls keeping me updated with the status of my application. Due to some unexpected family emergencies (two hospitalizations in 2 weeks), my application dragged out at no fault of Pinnacle. At no point did Dave contact me and put pressure on closing the loan. He always said that there is no problem when I called or emailed him with an update on my family situation.
My only concern, is that Dave basically assured me during closing that I would not be responsible for costs related to putting my house back into a trust. (In order to close the loan, all trusts have to be removed.) However, after the closing, Dave advised me that It would be my responsibility. I wish he would have honored what he said.

Dave recently helped us refinance our home. He was very knowledgeable and great at communicating with us. He answered all our questions with patience– via email and phone. He also had the best rates and fees, and never seemed pushy like the other mortgage lenders. I would highly recommend him.

I used Pinnacle in an attempt to get a mortgage. While Dave Taylor seems to be a competent enough guy, he only has one mortgage solution, Sunwest mortgage. Sunwest is a company of unparalleled incompetence which failed to provide me with a mortgage in a reasonable amount of time. Why? Who knows? To be a successful mortgage broker, Mr. Taylor needs to add choices to his menu. Fortunately, I had the resources to provide my own solution.

I first found out about Pinnacle Mortgage Solutions on the Bankrate website. Talked to Dave Taylor on the phone; found out he’s right here in Henderson; really liked Dave’s detailed/​logical explanations of how the refinancing process works with respect to lender, interest rates, etc. From then on, smooth sailing; just necessary documents being requested and sent. Dave is very prompt in answering questions via phone/​email. The best part of the whole experience, of course, was the rock bottom settlement charges for a loan over $ 400K. In short, low key, and the best price.
