Mr. Nice Guy’s Moving Service

Continued from previous … I text Joe again. He said he asked if I needed anything else before he left. I reminded him I wasn’t there and he assured me things were done that weren’t. He finally said he could compensate me with two guys for two hours at no charge if I needed more help.
Sunday was my first day off. I went to the old house and found it was not empty. I text Joe to get the help he promised but no reply. Instead of using my day off to put my new house together I had to finish the move myself. I took 7 loads in a Prius, 2 in a long bed Chevy pickup, and 2 in a Chevy Volt. That’s a lot of stuff left behind in a house I was assured was empty. I’m attaching pics of some of what was left behind … Bikes, ladders, boxes, etc. there are scrape marks on walls where they moved things out and doors and windows left open and unlocked…
After I finished the move myself I got to new house and started unpacking. I am devastated at the amount of damage and broken items. Absolutely heart broken over family heirlooms in pieces.
This was the worst move I’ve ever experienced and cost more than moving coast to coast cost me. Cost more than an international move cost me.
One former Unilocal review is written by someone who isn’t local and one is written by someone who has never reviewed any other business. Looks like Joe’s friends. The other review is an experience similar to mine but luckily not as bad.
This isn’t a real moving company. They used a small uhaul to move a big 3 bedroom house. Most of the guys work for other moving companies and looked at this as a side job. Some were just general labor. I’m going to check for a business license and insurance because there is just too much damage to ignore.
Save yourself and your belongings. Find a different moving company. This is an unprofessional, unorganized, dishonest group of people who don’t follow instructions, don’t honor their word, and simply don’t care about their customers or work product.
Cost for this moving company + cost of pool table mover + cost of handyman to fix walls they scraped + cost of laborers to come help move things they left all over + a day of moving stuff myself in the car = more than triple the original bid, 3 days instead of 1, and lots of damage!$!$!$!$

Great job! They were here on time, worked very hard, and are just great people! They carried all the heavy stuff upstairs into a 6 bedroom home! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you!

Have a backup plan! Horrible experience, Do not waste your time! I moved to Henderson from Seattle and had a small pod to move into an apartment. I scheduled with this company at least a month in advance. The movers never showed up, I called them 30 minutes after they were supposed to be here and was told that they would find out where the guys were and call me back. After a little while and not hearing anything I ended up having to call them back and was told that the driver of the truck was drunk and they were trying to find a replacement. I ended up canceling the whole thing and just moving myself. This company’s lack of professionalism is just ridiculous!

Excellent, friendly, quick service! These guys totally went above and beyond when we ended up short on space by loading the rest of our stuff on a truck and transferring it to a moving pod later for a long-​distance move. I can’t say enough good things about them!
