Rodolfo’s Cucina Italiana

I used to come here as a teenager and this was my first time back in probably 10 years.
The food was just as I remembered it! As always I got the Classic Italian Submarine sandwich. The bread is some of the best you will ever taste on a sandwich and the freshly graded parmesan cheese at the table is a must on it. The side of pasta salad is a new touch for me as they did not have that back in the day but it was great. It was a good day visit back to my home town and eating at a classic spot. It’s no longer a deli but the restaurant looks very presentable.
I’ll call this place a diamond in the rough since it seems the town has taken a big turn in the wrong direction since the early 2000’s but if your in town passing through defiantly come in and treat yourself!

I highly recommend Rodolfo’s if you’re in the Hemet area. There’s not a lot of options to dine at in Hemet but this place is a gem if you want something good. The food was pretty good and felt like it was prepared well. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it taste fresh like they prepared their food care. I also ordered the tomato bisque which was seasoned beautifully. See me again in the near future when I come back to Hemet.

I was not welcomed, waited quite a bit for service, and the service wasn’t very good until the end.

Great food and service both times we went there! The cioppino soup is to die for! All of their dishes my family tried were delicious from spaghetti and meatball to the spicy shrimp pasta to the lamb to the pizza… Quality food! The service was a little slow the second time around, but I remember them telling us on my 1^st visit that it isn’t fast food, everything is made to order and to relax, enjoy our company and bread! The only complaint I have was that our tables were sticky on the second visit, not because they were dirty, the table finish was old and coming off.

Horrible Service!!! Went here with my co-​workers to celebrate 2 of their birthdays. Called a day in advance to let them know we were going to have a party of 7 coming at 11:30am the following day. We arrived and our table was not ready. WE had to push a few tables together to sit our group. Waited and waited. 10 minutes later we had to ask the waitress if we could order our food/​drinks. Waitress dismissed us and said she would be right over. Another 10 minutes pass no waitress. She passed us over multiple times without acknowledging our group. After 30 minutes I finally walked up to the front to see if we could at least place our order. The waitress again dismissed me and stated she had another waiter coming in at 12:00pm. I told her that it was 12:00 and we needed to order as we were on our lunch break. She told me that she would be right with us and never came over. After another 10 minutes our group decided to leave. Our lunch was wasted. Instead of the birthday girls getting Italian food like they wanted we had to settle for Fast food. I’ve heard good reviews about the restaurant but I will never get a chance to try the food. After the very rude service I received today, I will never go back!

Love this place, although they could stand to be in a larger space. The food is excellent!

Another excellent lunch, this time with our Red Hat group to celebrate Queen Sheila’s birthday! Excellent service, as usual. And the chocolate dessert was heavenly! Thanks again for a great time!

This was my third visit and again was not disappointed. I got the penne pasta with blush sauce for take out. Service was quick, waitstaff very courteous and took my order efficiently. All I can say is YUM! The food was served hot and delicious! Garlic bread was great! Love this place. Nice, quiet place to come for a delicious meal. Hope to be back soon!

Amazing food! The owners and staff are really awesome. They remember you when you come in and treat you wonderfully. It’s my favorite place to eat in Hemet. It’s always a great time there. The décor is great too for such a small place.

I’ve been here a few times now and each time was delicious! My favorite so far has to be the lasagna, without a doubt, the best lasagna in town. It’s a great hole in the wall that I didn’t know existed until a few months ago and I’m glad I found it.

I would love to be able to give this place 5 stars because though a tad pricey the food is excellent. The reason for 4 is because unfortunately the service is a bit slow. This only happens when we have one particular server. It took 10 minutes this evening to get our drinks to our table, the first five we sat and waited just to get our drink order. I understand it can be and was busy however they should take that into consideration and have more then 2 servers. Food was great as always, I had the stuffed spinach shells with blush sauce, highly recommend. The fresh baked bread is always a big plus but as with the drinks it took forever to get to our table, roughly 15 minutes.

Hidden Gem in the Hemet Valley! Great food, good prices and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Service was helpful; I went during really slow hours on a Saturday for lunch. However, location of the place I am not sure if it feels comfortable enough for families to come in.
Tables are a bit sticky, floors are swept clean, in a addition I am not sure if I should treat this place has a casual dine in or high class place to eat due to presentation and price.
Other than that, the sauce was superb and creamy. And pasta was delicious. Mother ordered petite spaghetti with marinara sauce for $ 6.00. Total receipt with tax came out to $ 15.30 give or take, so not bad.

I happened upon this cute little restaurant while in search of a bathroom for my four year old. I was surprised to hear they had been in this location for ten-​plus years because I had never heard of them. When I found out they had cannolis I was excited and took one to go. Unfortunately when I bit into it, the shell was super soggy and the filling had hardly any flavor.
We will probably go back and try something else there but a cannoli says a lot about a place. ;-)

What can I possibly write about a place that I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying only twice in my life? Simple, delicious.
The first time I had Rodolfo’s was about 4 and a half years ago, don’t let the time span fool you though, it is not skewed.
The bread is some of the best bread that I have ever had, and I love me some bread, with the slight crunch on the outside and the pillow-​soft inside that makes me believe I am indulging on a cloud of goodness.
Two dishes I have had are the meat lasagna and the meatball sandwich. The lasagna is like a symphony of flavor that knows how to get home. The first bite makes your mind wander into the streets of Italy making you wish you hadn’t tried it because Italy has a lot to live up to. Very filling and tasteful, like it should be.
The meatball sandwich was of one of the better ones I have bit into. The marinara sauce perfectly paired with the meatballs like two people doing the tango, a tango of flavor. Wish I had added cheese, the perfect trio that could have been. The pasta salad side compliments it well, I am not a fan of dressings so I passed it along.
For having it only twice, it has to be one of the better Italian establishments that make me hope others can come close. Give it a try if you are looking for delicious food with a mixture of heaven.

3 Stars – Second time here and I wasn’t as impressed as the first. I took the food to go again but this time i got the tiniest garden salad ever for $ 7. Seriously, its lettuce and carrots! how can a place charge that much? The Crusted Breaded Salmon was good but $ 15 for what I got was a bit much too. I probably will go back one more time. I hope i feel more satisfied next time.
5 Stars – I’m eating my Aneto Gamberi as i write this review… This place is really good. the ravioli has a lot of shrimp inside and it is really rich and creamy (read: fattening) but i dont care, its delicious. i got a garden salad too and the home made italian dressing is very good. its really vinegary which i like. the service was friendly and fast. I called in my order while shopping and when i got to Rodolfo’s it was ready to go home with me. the friendly server, Brian, put my dinner together and it is just great! he even through in an extra garlic toast which is really like bruchetta bread but its pretty good.
Rodolfo’s is located in a junky strip mall but the interior is really nice and relaxing. i picked up a few decorating ideas for my own home!
I will be going back and i highly recommend Rodolfo’s Cucina.
