Food is good. Service is great only if you get the first section in the daytime. Hostesses are NOT good.

I Came here today and had a beautiful lunch with my mom. We got the salad and soup buffet thingy for $ 10.00 each all you can eat salad bar and they have a list of soups you can pick from and eat til your heart is full of yummyness. I recommend trying their famous potato cheese soup and french onion soup will melt in your mouth. Great comfort food. Deborah was our server she was so nice and helpful. Thanks Deb for the great service. We will come back soon.

What is better than sleeping in on a Saturday morning then heading out to Marie Callander for breakfast. Got there this morning and there were not many patrons there. The manager, I guess, seats me with a «Hope you enjoy your breakfast». I’m waiting probably 15 minutes total. I see a party of two seated and their beverages served. I see another party of two seated and their beverages served. Now the first party has their order taken and bread delivered to their table. I still have just a menu. I leave, the girl at the pie counter says have a good day. I stop long enough to inform her I will when I go down the street to Angie’s Diner for breakfast. Which is where I am now. I walk in. I am seated. My order is taken. I get a beautiful breakfast. Isn’t that what a restaurant is supposed to do. Margaret Gobel Hemet CA.

By far the worst restaurant in Hemet! Our waitress was horrible. Took her 10mins to come to our table, then another 15mins to ask if we wanted a drink, another 15mins to get our order and 20mins to get our meal but then it took 30mins to get our bill! When your dining with two children waiting is no fun. Then my husbands BBQ Chicken salad had the bottom of the red cabbage which was inedible! Again worst service and poor quality of food. I would give this place no stars.

Worst service EVER… we have been sitting here for 30 minutes and still no food and our waitress has not been back to check on us once…(not busy at all and only a party of 3) I won’t EVER be back… Shut this place down and put in a restaurant that actually cares to be here!

I went for pie with a friend and ordered a cheesecake with apple pie filling and whipped cream on top. The pie filling seemed like it was from a can, and the cheesecake was frozen. I asked the waitress to microwave it for a bit, she was reluctant because it would melt the whipped cream, but I assured her it needed to be done and it came back still frozen but with melted whipped cream and still cold apple pie filling. I could have made my own cheesecake for the price of that one frozen slice.

Mom and I haven’t been here in a few years and after reading recent reviews, I wasn’t too excited when mom suggested it for lunch. We were greeted and seated right away and they took our drink orders immediately. The place was clean but I do agree it seems a bit old-fashioned. We couldn’t decide what to get so we each ordered a sandwich and swapped half. Mom got our go-to sandwich, the Roasted Turkey Club, with real carved turkey(not deli meat) and bacon served on a buttery croissant. I LOVE croissants! I ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich from the feature menu. The tri-tip was flavorful and it came topped with a tasty bbq sauce and onion«tanglers». Both sandwiches were delicious and I would recommend either one. Points lost because their fries are just so-so and their ranch is a bit on the runny side. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks full. I did think it was a bit pricey but it was Mom’s treat so that didn’t bother too much this time around. Lol. I think Mom and I will return on occasion. The only thing holding us back would be the price but sometimes nothing will do like a Turkey Croissant!

They were out of just about everything and I wasn’t going to write a review however, I have not stopped throwing up since I ate here… Just a warning to anyone who wants to try this place. Be cautious. I’d hate to see another restaurant close down but, they need to make some SERIOUS changes. I gave 2 stars because the silver ware, plates, and glasses were clean.

You would think an all you can eat soup and salad bar would be hard to mess up Well we have given this place a few chances but have regretted it every time. The salad bar never has fresh crisp lettuce… The soup disgusting we tried French onion and cream of potato both over spiced and salted. I really wish they were like they were 25 years ago. The service is terrible as well.

Wish I could give it no stars — ordered 3 lunches and got 2 wrong orders and a burned order — okay maybe you read a ticket wrong and do a kids grilled cheese instead of an adult one and take the wrong things off a turkey sandwich — but how in the world can you send out food that’s completely black from being burned — I will never come back here again

My family an I went in hopes of having a good meal but got the total opposite. We ordered 2 soup an salad bars an a kids grilled cheese with fries. The salad was very fresh, very good but I wouldn’t touch anything else, no pasta salad or fruit. Then we good the soup, an we got the potato an cheese an the veggie soup. Both soups look like they came out of an can, they both had no taste what so every. Out our whole meal we ate a salad an my daughters grilled cheese. Then when we got the bill our server charged us for a kids soar when she got water an as we were walking out we seen a sign says the soup an salad bar had a difference of $ 4 then what the server chart us. So it’s safe to say we will never be going there again.

I ran a couple Spartan races last weekend and needed real food(instead of organic oat/seed cakes and chia drinks) and they were right next door to the Motel 6 I was staying, so it made sense. Got it around 7:30am and it was really quiet; just a few folks. Actually four, counting myself and I was the youngest(well, technically it was the hostess). I didn’t want something real big, so I opted for the Blackstone Eggs Benedict which consisted of bacon, tomato and hollindaise and hash browns. Serving size is what you see in the picture(not pictured is the coffee). Corina(my server) was right on point and it appeared that the rest of the crowd were regulars, as she called them by name. I asked for a coffee to go and she gives me a 16oz. foam cup, which was a bit large but certainly appreciated. $ 11.86, sans tip. One of those meals that hit the spot, but a little on the small side for the price. If you’re real hungry, you might want to order a side.

So many good things to say! Let me start with explaining that my kids and I have been trying different restaurants in Hemet, several over the past week. It wasn’t the best having breakfast for dinner if I had to get up and get everything myself, the«homestlye diner» at ridiculous prices(sandwich bread garlic bread), and the popular chain with the disappointing food and tiny kids meals that don’t fill my son. Marie Callender’s was quite a different experience. The establishment is well set up and well tended to. We were greeted and shown to a table right away. I was doubtful of the kids meals but we gave it a go. The waitress was prompt in taking our orders. She was always available but never intrusive. The wait was about what it should be when someone is making you delicious food but isn’t lagging on it. The food was worth signing up for your Unilocal. My son had the mac and cheese meal, it came with fruit and garlic bread, which he promptly traded my daughter for half of the fries that came with her chicken strips meal(kids! Lol) The chicken strips were delicious, the mac and cheese homemade, and everything so fresh and full of flavor. The portions were great, they couldn’t finish their meals and on top of that, it came with free slices of pie for each of them! I ordered the fettuccine and I have to tell you it was the BEST I’ve ever had. You MUST try it! I won’t be wasting time with other restaurants in Hemet. When want to dine out we’ll be working our way through the delicious menu at Marie Callender’s. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, too :) that worked out nicely.

We’d never been to any of this chain and were pleasantly surprised. The décor is pleasant and we loved the chicken pot pie and shepherds pie the best. We’ve had other things there, but they were just so-so. We dined there for Christmas and even with the huge crowd they kept things moving along nicely. The turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes was very good considering the amount of food they were cranking out the kitchen that day. All served hot and by a very overworked but friendly waitress.

Party of 5 for a Saturday night. The wait staff was on point and the food was alright; burgers were decently sized but for a $ 10 restaurant burger; you might expect more. Not many french fries on the plate, maybe they were low on fries also? The pot pie dinner’s were on the small side but were what they always have been, decent. Place was pretty empty and the biggest complaint was«were out of»: tea’s, shrimp, certain pies. Tues + Sat kids eat free off kids menu; so go that route. About $ 13 – 20 per person Pretty waitress Ashley; so she gets a star.

I love the pies here, but that’s a given right ! Ok so the food, I have had several items from salad to burgers and beyond. No complaints here. Nice salad bar too! I enjoy cornbread and the cornbread here makes me happy.
