Have visited this resturant and the food is consistently good and fair priced A popular location for seniors and can be very busy for breakfast. Wait staff are consistently friendly and helpful Menu items have many of the regular items but also available are light options that seniors like

Been going here now for years and I still love it. The whole family is amazingly sweet and I love the sisters. You girls are the best. If you are in the mood to eat some good, homestyle food and have excellent customer service, go here! A big thanks for putting up with me almost everyday!

Taking a client to lunch today. She wanted to have a California omelet for her meal. There was 1 table with 2 customers eating lunch. 1 table of 6 in the middle waiting for the waitress to take there order. The two female employees in the front of the restaurant asked us to seat ourselves. Couldn’t take the time to do it themselves since they couldn’t stop talking. We waited 5 minutes before they dropped off a menu. Brought 2 waters and a cup of coffee. Then kept us waiting 10 minutes while one took the party of 6 order. While the other walked around cleaning tables. We decided to get up & let them know we were tired of waiting for one of them to take our order & that we left money on the table for a cup of coffee. I asked the waitress why she kept ignoring us. She stated she was there by herself. I saw 2 employees in the kitchen & one other girl next to her. There were only two tables with customers in the whole place at noon both women we’re rude & never apologized for the unfit service. I explained to them that I was in the restaurant business for over 30 years. The waitress said she has been doing this for 20 years. What a shock where was she trained at. I have eaten here many times and never experienced such bad service. If this type of service continues in this buiness it won’t be long before there is a for sale sign on it. Hopefully the owner is aware of what goes on when they are not present. There is not a rating low enough for the service.

I can’t explain how great this place is. The place is a very friendly and home oriented vibe. The food is amazing. The place is just plain and simple a cozy place to come and eat your favorites! HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect basted eggs, hand battered chicken fried steak, home style potatoes and tasty biscuits. So rare to find a place that actually makes the chicken fried steak in house. Awesome breakfast. Martin was the cook and he is no joke. Food was so good I tipped Martin also. I’m not in Hemet very often at breakfast time but when I am this is my spot from now on.

The food is ok and decently priced, but the water tastes awful and it ruined my meal.

The water was terrible. Blech… I was drawn in by the picture of the cobb salad on facebook it looked freaking delicious, unfortunately what was served did not resemble the picture at all. I also ordered the Santa Fe Turkey sandwich on toasted Parmesan sourdough bread, not really sure what happened here possibly imitation Parmesan or bad oil it was toasted with either way it did not taste right. This sandwich left me wishing that I had ordered something different. I hear the breakfast is nice… too bad I will never experience it since I refuse to go back to a restaurant that refuses to filter their water. On a positive note. The walls were nicely painted, the booths were in good shape, and the waitress… well one waitress(the younger one) was very friendly :) and the floors looked very clean. Just do not look up cause the ceiling tiles really do need to be replaced(apparently the roof leaks.) Good thing it never seems to rain in Hemet… I guess.

I liked the seat yourself, calm and cozy environment but was upset when the biscuits and gravy were cold cold cold. The gravy was obviously just sitting at room temperature, and the biscuits were obviously made ahead of time and not reheated, or toasted to order. I liked that the gravy was not overly salty. My boyfriend’s fries were undercooked and tasted like raw potatoes. The food came out super fast. I would have waited a few more minutes for quality prepared food.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back home from Palm Desert one morning. Was not expecting much, given the outside of this place. Not that there was anything wrong with it, just that it was tucked away in an old shopping center somewhere. Inside, it looked a little dreary, but since it looked clean and we were hungry, we stayed. Our server was friendly and the staff was efficient and polite. Our meal was surprisingly very good. My 7 year old still remembers his meal here! We may not be likely to drive out to this place again since it is a bit out of the way for breakfast, but we would definitely stop by here on our way back home another time!

Our family came here yesterday morning for breakfast. I ordered the walnut waffle w/1 egg over medium &2 sausage links. The waffle was great, however I was completely GROSSEDOUT when I took a bite of my sausage & found that while seared & crisp on the outside it was RAW& pink on the inside. I cut open the 2nd sausage & it was the same. My boyfriend had exclaimed on «how fast» we got our food, but honestly I’d have gladly waited 5 more mins than to bite into a raw sausage link. Disgusting. When we informed the waitress she offered to switch my raw sausages for bacon. The bacon came out very well done, on the verge of burnt really. I definitely WONT be back & would not recommend this restaurant. My over medium egg was over cooked & for the prices I much would have rather stayed home & cooked breakfast myself. OVER-PRICED, UNDER-COOKED… To put it simply DISGUSTING

My favorite breakfast restaurant — Great prices, great quality food — best bacon & biscuits and gravy in town. My husband loves the omelettes! Staff is very friendly — place is run very efficiently. Always feel welcome when I walk in.

Great find! My husband and I prefer good mom-n-pop restaurants, especially for breakfast. This one doesn’t look like much from outside, on the inside, it was clean, well kept and pleasantly decorated. Pride in the food matched up with the environment. The hand battered chicken fried steak was great and was a very healthy potion. I had a strawberry waffle(they were out of their homemade corned beef hash, which I take as a good sign– must be good if its sold out by 11a on a Saturday, right?) and the waffle surprised be. It was crispy on the outside but not dry on the inside, so good! Also, the BEST part(because its a pet peeve of mine) was… we didn’t have to ask for coffee once!!! We had 3 – 4 refills and our coffee was always hot. Service was great, very friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

This is an awesome place for breakfast. The helpings are good size and the food is excellent. Since we’ve found this place, it’s the only place we go for breakfast. The omelets are great, the biscuits and gravy are fantastic, and the California Benny is to die for!

Very good and so far I love this place. It has very patient and kind employees also including delicious food. This restaurant is not a chain I believe it is family owned. It is also very very clean. I really recommend it.

Had the cheese omelette with biscuits and gravy. Great hash browns, nice biscuit and good gravy. Food was served hot and very fast. The place was not real busy but the food was there very quickly. Older waitress was not very friendly but the other staff members were. Quick with the coffee, which is what I want at breakfast time.

Since we live on the local schedule(up at 5 am, dinner by 5 pm), this place was perfect. Lots of choices(though none really veggy) Mi lady had a french dip– 4⁄5 I had the trio salad which was a scoop of chicken, tuna, and potato salad on top of giant delicious lettuce leaves with some peaches, tomatoes, and hard boiled egg snuggled in. 5⁄5 seriously? yum! Clam chowder came with my dinner and I was tempted to cancel the salad and double up on the soup. No nonsense servers take your order, deliver it, and leave the check– it was nice that we never had to look for her. I do believe they are open at 6am– but get the dinner fare. Though those peach pancakes were winking at me– another time I guess. I think we cashed out at $ 20 for dinner(including generous tip)

This is the place to those who know. It’s not fancy, but very clean, tastefully decorated, very good quality food, good portions, excellent service, reasonable prices. It has a quiet, warm atmosphere, although it can get pretty busy at times. It blows away the chains(Denny’s, Coco’s, etc.)!
