Best Mexican food in town. Their chips and salsa is amazing(you can put to go orders in for the chips and salsa and their menu). Always get the combination platter with enchilada and burrito with the sauce on the side. So good!

While visiting in Helena, I was very excited to find Emiliano’s. I had been craving Mexican food and wanted to get my fix. To my dissapointment, it was not very good and not authentic at all. The salsa was sweet and pasty, which is not typical of any authentic Mexican Restaurant. I ordered the shredded beef flautas, they were decent, but not that good. For someone who knows what Mexican food should taste like, I would not recommend Emiliano’s.

For anyone who has had authentic Mexican food before, I do not recommend this place. The chips and salsa were good but it goes downhill from there. The shredded beef is totally tasteless, the enchilada sauce is bland and beans are flavorless. $ 35 for a beer and two entrees is pricey for Mexican food.

Food is good, yes. But the staff has always been the rudest in town. No matter when we go there they act like we are bothering them. Jeez, I’m sorry you have business. Last time we went and got copped an attitude we left and went across the street for pizza. It’s not even one rude employee. It’s ALL of them. I’m over it. Plenty of other local places in town that actually appreciated the business.

A step above the usual Ameri-Mex. The food is cheesy, but not cheese-drenched. Black beans are an option, but corn tortillas aren’t. They go easy on the shredded lettuce, but it is still there. It is not a «canned menu»(a la Sysco), but it is not particularly inventive or authentic either. It is fresh and clean, and the service is prompt and friendly. Now that Chilangos is closed, it will be my go-to«Mex» joint, even though it really isn’t Mex.

Pretty good. As other mentioned, the prices are a little high, but nothing too bad. Their salsa that came with the chips had a little spice, nothing overwhelming, but it was enough for me to know that I shouldn’t get their hot sauce on my burrito, as it was likely extremely hot. I’ll definitely go again, although it is not my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. As a side note, we ended up on the patio which was nice and quite. Our waitress was also nice and friendly as well.

I love this place. Good food and good people. This is a great family place to eat. It has no bar area, but it does serve beer and wine. Closes a little early, but otherwise no complaints. Love the hot salsa. Have not had anything that I would not happily order again.

So far, this is the best Mexican food I’ve found in MT. I grew up on the border in Texas, so I’ve very picky. Rather pricey for the portions, but authentic. Pass on the quesadillas, and beware they mean business when they call the enchilada sauce hot.

Service and food are always good. It is a small restaurant and can be busy during noon hour.

Best new Mexican food period — especially if you like spicy Mexican as opposed to bland. Beans are way better than any I’ve tasted at any other restaurant.
