On the advice of a friend, I decided to try a Barber instead of the usual «Super Cuts» type of place I have been going to since I can remember… I knew that Steve #2 had taken over the business and decided to give him a try…
What a pleasant surprise and experience. The new Steve has kept it «old school» but has added a little newness to the experience like the big flat screen TV facing the chair… His rule, if you’re sitting in the chair, you get to pick the channel. Pretty cool.
I instantly liked the vibe as soon as I walked in. It’s the type of place where you can hang out and not feel the anxiety you normally feel when you have to wait your turn.
Steve is a friendly guy who appreciates his customers and his community and it shows. I appreciate his respect of the history Steve #1 left behind.

I have been going to Plaza Barber Shop for over 20 years, so when Steve #1 retired recently, it felt like a Healdsburg institution had been lost. Enter Steve #2, and much to my relief, the new Steve is carrying on the great service and friendly attitude that I had enjoyed in the past.
