Still going strong, the best Chinese take out in our area. Been a customer for 15 plus years. The food is always fresh and if you have a dietary need or food allergy just tell them. The people who work here are hardworking and really great. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. We get take out 1 – 2 times a week here. * read my prior review as nothing has changed. Consistent business.

Always great food with great flavor. The best take out in the area. Worth the drive even though there are three other Chinese takeout places that are closer to us. Never disappoints.

Waiting for my takeout food as I write this. My family and I have been ordering takeout from this place for more than 20 years. To me, they truly know how to make the best wonton soup! Same goes for the dumplings. I’ll continue to only get Chinese food from this place. Looking forward to some good food on this cool Halloween Eve!

I moved to a townhouse off Laurel ave, literally the road that divides Holmdel and Middletown. They delivered food to my new residence once, no problems. I called them up literally three days later, and they tell me they dont deliver to Middletown. I explain to them they delivered to me 3 days earlier, and they deliver to my cousin on Holland road, which is 2 minutes away from me. I hear her ask her manager mom, and I hear the woman nastily say«No! Tell him no already». I hung up before she even got back on. What a joke, rude new owners replacing the old rude owners. I called Sultan Wok, who delivered to me all the way from Matawan! There are so many better chinese places than Lius, and they really dont care about their customers. Avoid. Their food is nothing special and I refuse to ever stop in this place again.

The food is good, but was just overcharged and treated horribly. Check the bill– you’re probably being charged something different.

Best Chinese around these parts. Can’t go wrong with their pork fried rice, Lo mein or chicken and vegetable. Reliable delivery in under 40 minutes and they’ve never messed up my order in about a dozen deliveries.

Food is ok. Service is terrible. Delivery is very slowwwww!!! When you follow up — lady gets upset. I wouldnt order from this restaurant ever. You can try it but not worth the wait. Useless

Ugh this place. Bad service and the place does not have air conditioning so you’re dying waiting for your food. The food doesn’t taste as good as other Chinese food I’ve had around here. Better off going to the one next to Planet Fitness and Kmart on 35.

Located in a very small strip mall. Decent amount of parking spaces and it can get busy during lunch hours. The place itself is pretty small with a few booths if you want to eat in. Both times I’ve been there, I’ve gotten take out. The food is good. Flavorful and tasty. The fried rice with the lunch and dinner specials were good. Place is cheap too. For lunch, my co worker and I paid $ 12.04. Can’t beat that.

Worst customer service ever. EVER. The food is good but God help you if it’s dinner time because you’ll NEVER eat. 1.75 hours and no food. «It’s on the way» is their schtick and we finally got them to admit it legit just left their restaurant. I would’ve picked it up if they wouldn’t be shady and liars. On top of that they said«hold on» and talked crap about me and gave ME an attitude. Drive to j&p in matawan or first wok in keyport. These people suck.

One of the good Chinese food places. I order online and always had a good response from them

I finally found a decent Chinese food joint in the area. We ordered from here the other day after an off putting experience at another place. We had beef with snow peas(good), chicken with vegetable(good), beef lo mein(decent), steamed dumplings(great), and egg rolls(good). The prices are very reasonable and the food was overall above average. I’ll definitely be going back.

We are new to Nj and have been to many restaurants. This is by far the best Chinese food we have had since have been here. Kids ask for it every night!

This place has the best pork dumplings. They’re quick and the food is not too greasy as far as Chinese food goes.

This is the my parent’s local take out place. I did not have high hopes for the place around the corner from them. I was surprised, because everything was good. Fresh, hot and tasty. Nothing changed my life, but everything was tasty(I really liked their Pork Egg Foo Young).

Foods good, I think I would give more stars if they didn’t constantly mess up my order. I always ask kung po chicken no peanuts and brown rice; somehow they always give me the order with peanuts and fried rice. One time we ordered a dish that says it comes with steam rice, we opened the bag no rice so we go back and tell the lady and she tried to charge us… WHAT. Needless to say I didn’t pay for the rice because I paid for it with my meal, but that’s crazy.

When entering Liu’s you are transported into the 80’s, but you don’t mind because you are just there to pick up Chinese for a reasonable price. They hand you a bag which seems so heavy it must be the wrong order. They assure you that it is yours and the eating challenge begins.

Super greasy and found a piece of meat in my vegetarian dish. Only positive thing I have to say about this restaurant is that they use fresh broccoli. Definitely threw away the menu when I got home and will not be returning.

Not bad chinese food — on the level with an average one out of NYC. General Tso’s and Sesame chicken very reliably made. Nothing mind-blowing but still good for an area that otherwise is rather devoid of good delivery food.

I’ve been going here since the first day they opened back in ’95. If there’s one word to describe them in that time period, its consistent! They are reliably consistent in what they make! Its not the best chinese food in the world, but for an inexpensive take out chinese place, its def serves its purpose. Their lunch or dinner combos are a great bargain! And after years of fighting it, they take credit cards now.
