Awful! Please Do Not leave your family members unattended at this facility!
The staff is rude and unattentive, the facility is unsanitary, m y mother went for rehab after a hip replacent and ended up in the hospital from uncontrolable vomiting and diarrhea. Dr said it may have come from food contamination.
Im am writing complaints to every board I know.

My name is Kathryn A and my aunt broke her hip in June and is in need of 24hr care. Her Doctor recommended Gateway, I was impressed with the first visit. She had a hard time when she lost her independence but she is settling in very nicely. From the Administration Department, RNs, CNAs, Activity Department, Therapy and House keeping, I feel every one is friendly. They all greet you with a smile. They get to know the family and answer all questions. The meals are Nutritious and the meals are posted. I have visited many times, different hours and the staff is always the same. I am happy that my Aunt’s Doctor recommended a place with such dedicated and QUALIFIED staff. Thanks GATEWAY!!!

I had a relative that stayed in this facility on two different occasions. The first time they did not have the correct medication on file. The second stay they over medicated my family member and disregarded their pain. They were sent to the emergency room with a life threatening condition. We will not be sending our family member back. Not even as a last resort. Make sure you stay on top of these guys. They were recently bumped down from a 4 to a 3 by the state. It should have been a 2.

My grandma is a resident here and I’m very impressed with the staff and facilities. Every time we come into visit her the staff is very helpful and attentive to our needs and hers. She doesn’t speak english so it was a very hard transition for her but the RN’s and CNA’s have been so kind and now she is comfortable and happy here. Thanks Gateway!
